Well, pizza, terrible service and a cutthroat landlord. The landlord charged 9 CHF for a side order of pepperoni for the pizza. There were five pieces of pepperoni strips on the pizza. Not recommendable. Pizza cost 33.50 CHF. Please note: to take away.

We just went for dinner twice. Very friendly and attentive staff, we enjoyed everything very much! Always my pleasure. We recommend!

I was in Italy and ate many types of pizza. I loved the pizza I tried at La Piazzeta in Leukerbad because it was made on wood and gave a homey taste. A must!

Trap, avoid! No love in the kitchen. Roesti not cooked, crunchy. Mushrooms surely a can poured into a saucepan with cream. Carbo spaghetti, a pool of cream. No water in a carafe despite ordering several drinks. You have the impression of being invisible, long wait. The waitress asks me how it was, I answer that it was not good, not cooked (3/4 plate not eaten) the boss doesn't even come to see why or apologize for the undercooked potatoes.

The food is good there. Fair value for money. Decor, service and pleasant atmosphere. The only downside is that they don't offer a carafe of water.

Seriously disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. The water bottles were dirty and charged at 7.90.- probably filled with tap water. In addition, we were a table of 9 with wine consumption, when we requested the free carafe of tap water we were refused. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of the restaurant are damaged by the boss with his poor service. We ate in the restaurant several times and the service from the waiters was excellent until we were unfortunately served by the restaurant's manager on December 27th, 2023. He was rude and unprofessional. We were a group of 9 people, first he forgot two starters. Then he forgot about the meal for two people. The wine was also brought incorrectly. The waiter, who was very attentive at the end when we had all eaten and saw that two people hadn't eaten, offered to bring a quick menu in 5 minutes. He brought a dish of raw chicken and pork, which we didn't eat, and charged us 47 francs for the dish, and also charged us for the large soup, even though we only ate the small one. In the end the boss was rude and inattentive instead of finding a solution, replacing the dish or at least apologizing for forgetting everything. He told us that we were in Switzerland and that we had better go skiing. Very very bad boss very unprofessional and leaves the restaurant in a very bad way and feeling sorry for the waiters.

We were unable to eat there because the restaurant was full. On the other hand, they tried to accommodate us at 8 and offered us a solution. Rare thing to take the time when they are full. Magnificent and warm setting.

Tourist trap! Two hours of waiting to have uncooked pizza dough on the plate, charged at 25.-/piece. All is said. Flee this place...

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. All the staff are friendly but very hectic and several times forgot parts of the order, which was then delivered upon request. As soon as a table becomes free, it will be set again immediately. The whole thing gives the impression that the focus is on sales and not the guest. The boss or chef de service didn't behave appreciatively towards the staff and probably didn't have the best evening. No toilet paper in the toilet.

Do not visit! We placed an order for dinner locally in December 2023 as a group of 9 people. We ordered from the menu and two people's food was simply forgotten. When the rest of the group had already finished eating, we were informed that our food had been forgotten and that the kitchen was already closed. The waiter showed understanding while the boss behaved very disrespectfully. We were told that they would still bring us the order despite the “kitchen being closed”. We originally ordered salad and a mixed grill platter worth 47 CHF, although you can expect a generous portion. The food finally came when everyone was ready. What we actually got at the table was a small piece of beef, a small piece of pork, a small piece of chicken breast, all RAW on a cold stone slab. Plus leftover french fries and vegetables. To illustrate: the grill plate was about the size of a hand. Since everything was under stress and the grill plate wasn't even hot, the food was inedible. We decided not to eat the dish and reported the whole thing to the staff. The boss came and showed no understanding at all. Since some of us have experience in the catering industry, we told the boss that customers were not allowed to be treated in this way and that at least one negative review would follow. When the bill came to 395 CHF, including the returned dish for 47 CHF, we complained that the inferior dish had been charged. Instead of showing goodwill, the person in charge started a discussion, whereby we remained objective, but the person in charge became ridiculous and said we were threatening... We paid the bill and left, but had a bad evening and from then on had bad associations with the Piazetta. Stay away from this rip-off shop and have a nice evening. LG

Very expensive dishes compared to what one expects from an Italian restaurant in Switzerland, and do not serve carafes of water... quite good pizzas on the other hand, but slow service Examples of prices: half-and-half fondue 33.-/person, pizzas around 24/25.-

Were there in the off-season. Very tasty food (game season), waiting time was pleasant. Unfortunately, 1 liter of tap water for 7.90 is very expensive...

The food was good but we didn't like the fact that they didn't offer a carafe of water (even though we consumed 230.- worth of food and drinks) For 500ml of filtered tap water, they charge 5.50 chf. I would like to participate, for example 2chf per liter, but that’s theft! In Switzerland the water is drinkable!!!

A priori nice atmosphere, but very disorganized and wait of about an hour... meat with a strange taste... pizza ok but unpretentious. They charged two glasses of wine instead of one (um, that's a steal, right? I'll see what to do with my legal protection, :)). The newspapers will perhaps headline, “wine glass scam trial”, hahaha). It must be said that they had to change the first glass because it was full of little pieces of cork... Ha, what service! They also served so-called 'micro-filtered' tap water at the price of mineral water, in a resort with 65 water sources ;)) where you can drink water from public fountains... Their 'micro-filtered' water tastes just like tap water, but the water is good here anyway! We felt hostility when we made the comment about the water. Oops, it was time to go... Our opinion: At your own risk, we found it to be a bit of a tourist trap. But that's just our opinion. We hope that they will organize themselves better in the future and that they will change the tablecloths for each customer. And please be careful not to double charge guys!! It's a bit petty, isn't it? And if you really 'micro-filter' your water, in my opinion it's not necessary, because it tastes exactly the same as tap water. Plus tap water is already drinkable... Perhaps you could then add a water ionizer. Good luck in the future !

I can't judge food because it never came about. After 20 minutes of waiting, we had neither a menu nor anything to drink. Staff extremely stressed and untidy, high noise level.

The waiter told us that tap water is not drinkable In leukerbad, as far as to suggest us to take purchase bottles back to the hotel as we were worried if we can’t drink the tap water back at our hotel as we arrived late when everything was closed. He charged us 5.50 CHF per bottle, which was most likely filled from a tap. We asked the hotel next morning and they said the tap water is drinkable.

Service: good. Location: cozy atmosphere. Pizzas from ok to good. 1l tap water bottled in 1/2 l bottles CHF 7.50! ! -> cheek.

Extremely disappointing. We took an offer via Cadeau24, for a night at the Hôtel de la Croix-Fédérale and to eat fondue there... We are in Switzerland, about 30 minutes from French-speaking Switzerland and speaking French is a challenge for the staff. On the other hand, they speak Italian perfectly and at incredible speed without wondering if we understand anything. The fondue is brought to us without the stove being lit, served with almost dry bread. We ask to light the stove, we wait 10 minutes without anyone coming. I ended up asking another waiter for a personal lighter, who was going to go find someone else. Then the stove goes off, 3 times, with a change of stove etc... Anywayfff Really really bad. However, the place is super pretty, they could really make this place a must-visit little restaurant. But I would rather say to avoid...

It's a very good pizzeria located in the center of the village of Leukerbad. The food is very good when there are few people. In peak season, they have difficulty keeping up.

We were there on two evenings and loved it. The service, the ambience and the food were great. Whether pizza, pasta or dessert, everything was of very good quality. I can only recommend this restaurant

Friendly service, very nice ambience and the food is first class. We ate different pastas and they tasted excellent. The pizzas were also large, well topped and also very good. If I could I would give one more star. If we come to Leukerbad again, this restaurant is our absolute favorite.

It's not even worth one star. Deliberately provided incorrect menus. Staff not trained and stressed. Our Rösti was at the pass without a reservation, other dishes with a higher price were given out immediately, so my food was lukewarm. Tip: Please ask for all of the house menus.
