Coffee and Plants in Zürich

A nice place in the Sihlcity shopping center to have a coffee. As is already standard in Zurich, the cappuccino here is of course also available with organic oat milk. I can't judge the food there because I only had a coffee there. The café even offers views of the paper hall and more.

Catastrophic, not friendly. Coffee wasn't good either. I would have preferred to go to the coop.

I was yesterday there and the coffee is spectacular! However that is not the only highlight! Desserts are amazing! And the atmosphere is just great! The space is kind of private ao you can enjoy coffee there completely relax!

Unfortunately I had a not so nice incident today. I wanted to have a quick coffee, sat down at a table and waited 5 minutes. Then I asked at the bar if I could order, and was told I could only order at the bar and only in one place. So I had to go around the counter again. I asked if I could speak to the manager and they gave me an email. I wrote and 10 minutes later he was there, long story short. He found my feedback ridiculous and after a discussion he called me a poor bum who was unemployed and was just wasting his time. He called security and I had to leave the restaurant. I've been in the restaurant industry for 37 years and I've never had anything like that Experienced, it's a shame that the innkeeper's patent was abolished in Zurich, I'm thinking about reporting it to gentlemen, this is not a restaurant. Nothing really special about them, just that it is always hard to find a place to sit and they are rather expensive.

I think I've now had coffee here twice (if I'm not forgetting a third time). I liked it, and need to explore more of their offering if I'm to grow to love it.

Seated closely. Cappuccino was good! Waited 20 minutes, then the order on the screen was gone and I had to wait again.

Just great!!! We ordered a cappuccino and a macha latte along with two cakes (banana bread and brownie) and everything was delicious! The bar is like an oasis in Sihlcity 🌱 And you also have the opportunity to buy plants. Highly recommended!!!

Fast service and perfect value for money.

Nice, friendly, but 6.- for a glass of hot water and a bag of peppermint tea (not fresh) is just too much. The staff works extremely hard and quickly, but if you still wait 10 minutes. If you're waiting for the hot water and the table hasn't been cleared by the previous guest, then there's probably something wrong with your time/cost/personnel management. A pity. Was here for the first and last time.

A great little oasis with great coffee and very tasty small dishes. The Schiffsbräu beer is highly recommended.

I was in this cafe on Wednesday morning. The man with a long, white beard was extremely unfriendly. I don't recommend this cafe to anyone. 👎👎👎

Seemed like a nice place. Looks nice. But there is no table service, and when i went to the bar to order i was told i had to go the other side, where one person was slowly serving a long queue of people. I dont have time for that, so i left. Bad service in my opinion.

Only 1 lady was friendly and put-together, the rest were very strange, almost pissed off.

This place is so amazing, a little peace offering oasis in a busy shopping mall. The coffee is delicious and the baristas are very nice. I can definitelx recommend!

7 Chf for a medium Latte, come on, this is clearly over the top. The service was unfriendly and cold. The Latte tasted ok, was a good temperature, but the glass it was served in was dirty. Came with a glass of water and a small biscuit.

Very unfriendly staff -> man with a bald head and a beard, he is very unfriendly that we lost our appetite.

I had a soup in this restaurant for lunch today, which I really enjoyed. What bothered me, however, was the fact that the staff used their bare hands to sprinkle both the pre-cut chives and the slice of bread onto the soup or put them on the tray. The chives could be elegantly added to the food with a spoon, the bread with tongs. It may sound petty, but it seems appropriate to me in this day and age with Corona and flu going around.

A small oasis within the Sihlcity shopping center. Very nicely decorated with lots of details. The service was very nice. She had explained to me that I would be called out as soon as the coffee was ready. Nevertheless, she brought the drink to my place. A nice gesture. Thank you. The coffee was well tempered. Very convincing in terms of taste. You have to expect some background noise. But that's OK too.

The milk based drinks are served soldering hot, far beyond the optimal temperature for heating milk.The coffee is mostly tasteless leaving on drinking a cup of hot milk with. Being at the end of a normal mall hallway one could fear it being loud and poorly constructed, but the seating area is spacious with a lovely variety of plants standing and hanging, at least half of their name is done well.

I recently discovered the Coffee and Plants I’m Sihlcity and was warmly welcomed. The selection of luggage and drinks was consistently good. The espresso is deliciously hot and I can only recommend a short visit.

I was happy to be there. Coffee is delicious, as is the sticky bun! Friendly staff.

Super cozy shopping cafe! Really great at the mega window with a great view of Kalanderplatz and the buildings around it. Apparently the top spot of the day for new mothers... the density of small children is rather high before midday, but the ambience is completely peaceful. And the service is very attentive (US style: Order here, Pick up there). The employees are also very nice. So definitely the place to be in Sihlcity!

Unfortunately the cafe staff are not friendly. I overpaid about 35 fr or more. and when I go home and order a glass of water because I'm thirsty! She tells me that I only have to drink water when I order something and I should buy a water bottle from Coop! . I really think that's a shame! . I no longer recommend this place.

Was in Sihlcity again today and discovered the coffee. It is beautifully furnished and the plants make a stylish impression. Unfortunately the concept is not coherent. There is a QR code on the table to order and pay straight away. But it's not clear that you then have to pick up the goods and, like at Starbucks, you are called by name... The only difference to Starbucks is that you stand at the counter and wait. Here in coffee you talk to your partner while you wait for the goods - that's how it goes down, especially when you think the goods will be delivered. It is also not clear whether you have to clear it yourself or not. I would actually expect the ordered goods to be brought to the table. And when you order you are immediately asked for a tip. I wouldn't give one today because I wasn't given anything extra that would justify a tip. Consider adapting the concept here – at least it should be clearer and there should be better communication when you can pick up your goods. So the approach is good, but there are some points for improvement.

The idea of ​​combining coffee and plants is good, the restaurant is stylishly furnished, there are small plants on the tables. The espresso was presented very nicely, but unfortunately it was too sour. The employee seemed rude and talked to customers over my espresso without a mask. The price was normal.

The first impression always counts because it always remains like a good guest...! no service, you are called like a dog to get the coffee. Coffee was all cold, pastries could be better, no friendly atmosphere, one person only makes the coffee and the other M.A is on the phone instead of politely asking the guests if everything is okay is whether we still have a wish... A new coffee in Shilcity among 5 other coffee places has to leave a positive impression - the competition never sleeps. Unfortunately we won't be visiting this coffee shop again.

Finally got a vegan Sticky Bun from White Rabbit Bakery here today. It was so worth the wait and I'll be back again for more tasty vegan baked goods soon. Also, the ambience and concept of this new Cafe is really cool.
