Colonnade in Luzern

Everything was so perfect. Trust me, I had tears in my eyes.. 😭😭😭

We went to the excellent Mandarin over Christmas and then also dined at the Colonnade. It's a very good restaurant. The food was of the best quality and tasted excellent. All courses on the tasting menu were wonderful. The corresponding wines were all fantastic (excellent wine list). The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly, polite and courteous. We had a very nice evening. Highly recommended.

Nestled in a prime location in Luzern, this gourmet restaurant is characterized by an intimate setting and an inviting backdrop for an extraordinary dining experience. Moving to the culinary journey, the egg entree was a revelation, transforming a simple boiled egg into a gastronomic delight that surpassed expectations. Sommelier Carlo played a pivotal role, skillfully guiding us through a wine selection that enhanced each dish's flavors. Kudos are due to the attentive room staff, whose expertise added to the overall enjoyment. They seamlessly blended helpfulness and discretion, contributing to the overall excellence of the evening. As for the kitchen staff, including the talented chef, their culinary mastery was evident in every dish served—a true testament to their dedication and skill. This restaurant is a gem where location, food, and exceptional staff converge to create an unforgettable experience.

We had an incredible dining experience at the Colonnade. For starters, the ambiance is very luxurious and stylish, immediately signaling good things to come. The service was amazing, with everyone on staff being extremely attentive, professional and knowledgeable, we felt very well taken care of. The sommelier Carlo did a fantastic job assisting us with the wine. The main praise however has to go to Gilad and his kitchen team, who have complete mastery over the flavors they use and showed creativity and talent in assembling and preparing our meals. One of the best restaurants in Luzern!

The 8-course tasting menu, the wine pairing and cheese trolley were an exquisite journey through culinary excellence. What set Colonnade apart was the kitchen team's extraordinary attention to detail. Not only did they create dishes with seasonal ingredients that exploded with amazing flavors, but they also presented them with a level of artistry that was truly remarkable. The plating was a work of art in itself. I highly recommend trying the egg dish and definitely not to miss out on the cheese trolley with 40!!!! cheeses. What truly stood out was when the kitchen team came to our table to serve each dish, adding a personal touch to every course. To top it off, they invited us for a kitchen tour, which was a delightful behind-the-scenes look at their creative process. It's no surprise that Colonnade has earned its Michelin star. This restaurant offers a culinary experience that is unparalleled in every aspect. I can't recommend it highly enough – a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable fine dining experience.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. I was celebrating my birthday there, the atmosphere was amazing! We spent approx. 6 hours, but everything was very smooth. The service was incredible! Everyone was super polite and organized. The courses came on time and the glasses were refilled constantly. My biggest appreciation to the team, they made my birthday super special. The food was just on the other level! I could never imagine that the French cuisine could be that versatile and delicious! We had 8 courses each and every dish was marvelous! The restaurant itself is breathtaking and elegant. The design is very bright and chic. I will definitely visit Colonnade once again! Thank you so much for the outstanding experience! 11/10!!!

The evening in the Colonnade was a PERFECT experience from A to Z. The staff is very friendly and well trained. Each course offered a taste explosion and not to forget the incredible wine tasting. The menu with its precision, dedication and originality is worth every cent. I'm proud Lucerne has such an address!
