Confectionery Grellinger, coffee confectionery in Therwil

Why aren't the prices written on the baked goods? So sandwiches, chocolate rolls etc. no prices anywhere. Isn't it a requirement to mark the goods accordingly? This means that the Grellinger bakery can increase its prices as much as it wants. An impudence.

The inside of the store is surprisingly large with plenty of eat-in space. If you want to be sure to sit in a group, we recommend making a reservation. There is also outdoor terrace seating during the warmer months. There is also a restroom inside the store and a free private parking lot next to the store.

We bought several sweets last Sunday. Among other things, a Gugelhopf for 12.- This was totally dried out and could only be eaten by dunking it in coffee! I have no idea how old it was, but normally you should get a pastry like this at half price or for free. By the way, in Migros it costs 5.90 and is wonderfully fresh. Shame!

Grellinger makes by far the best Läckerli there is!

The almond stollen is awesome!!! Crispy on the outside, fine almond mixture on the inside - the best I know.

The coffee and the chocolate cake were very good and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately the coffee shop is a bit old. Dogs are welcome for this.

I've shopped there several times and have always been satisfied, but I was there on Friday and there were several dozen flies on all the baked goods, even though they were covered with plastic. Very unsavory.

I had one of the worst Experience here in this Grellinger in Therwil. The Young women service ( wearing black blazer ) she almost threw the plates on the table so hard. Even me and my friends are almost every sunday here. So sad, I really gotta think about my next visit. Good food but bad service.

Very disappointed 😔 and felt really very sad with the waitress!! She rudely talk to us and served us the coffee! With other Swiss people she is very nice n friendly!! a confectionery with a nice café and good baked goods

We had a small Breakfast. 1 hot drink, 2 bread rolls or croissants, 1 confit, 1 small butter. Butter is too small, additional butter Fr.0.60. Unfortunately, several tables for four were occupied by a few people who only drank one coffee each. The tables for two are very narrow and are in front of the toilet. Baked goods were delicious and the staff was nice.

Used to be a great bakery. Unfortunately, things are getting smaller and smaller while the price remains the same (e.g. Currybängeli). In contrast, goods are more than generously given away to institutions. How would it be if instead the prices were reduced so that the Büetzers also benefited from it?!

We're always there. It's a bit noisy outside because it's on the road to BielBenken, but there's always something to see. Pleasant inside. Friendly service and fine baked goods We keep coming back.

This good bakery and confectionery already exists in Reinach, but the large shop there is being converted so that a test restaurant part will be added. That's why I went to Therwil to get a coffee and something sweet.

Quality has deteriorated extremely. The last few times the croissants have not been fresh and have become much smaller. Coffee doesn't taste good at all. For a "confectionery" you expect at least real coffee and not coffee soup... I can't praise canapés either. They taste almost worse than the wholesale ones. The only things that are still edible are the desserts and the plait. There are two stars for that...

Ordered a big breakfast. Muesli wasn't fresh. Blackberries had a rotten taste. Orange juice from the Gugge. No thanks

In my opinion the best curry bangles

Not everyone was impressed by the pralines they bought. Of course, it's always a matter of taste... but charging over 27.00 for a bag that was 1/3 full is clearly far too much compared to the competition. Some of the pralines tasted like stale chocolate, almost old :-(... so it's better not to try it again...

New comment - 1 year later: Unfortunately, the furniture is still not renewed. Really a shame, because the tables are broken (coarser holding points, wobbling, etc.) and squeaking the chairs and are sitting through. The staff has improved and the service is good, quick and very friendly. That's why there are now 4 stars but the furniture is really sad :( Quality of the goods = great Service = more eyes open instead of chattering Many people don't even pay attention to the tables at the back or don't look around, that's better! It's a shame that the foreign staff are still quite rude about everything! The customer is the king and can say something if he doesn't like something, but there you risk grimaces and cheeky answers! If you sit outside you have to be lucky if a waitress comes out... In addition, the furniture is ancient - the Grellinger company should be able to afford new chairs and tables...

Bircher muesli and bread products are excellent, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of ambience 😉

When four adults drink in a cafe. I think it's a bit cheeky to charge CHF 1.50 for syrup for a child.

On nice days, people occupy the tables outside for hours with a coffee. Egoists. The store, selection and staff are top notch.

Basically good products. However, the curry bangles are not recommended! A single wafer-thin slice of ham that didn't even cover the entire bread roll, very little dried curry mayo and no other toppings, neither tomato, gürkli, lettuce leaf, nothing at all. Awkward! Inventory old and unsightly, should be renewed. Service was partly friendly

I ordered a warm chocolate, which was very good and at CHF 4.50 the price-performance ratio was completely fine. However, the roll we ordered was very expensive at CHF 4.20 and when we wanted butter with it, this cost an additional 60 cents. There's just something wrong with the price...
