Lovely staff and amazing pastries✨

Already several times to go drink tea and eat a little pastry. Always very very good and friendly served. Very very nice place.

The owner of the house was very kind, the cakes were delicious, and there were not many Koreans. I didn't know at the time, but he decorated the drinks with cute facial expressions like that. :>

Fifth visit to Interlaken, why had we never come across Confiserie Rieder before? Lovely little place with great cakes. We shared two cakes and had three drinks, came to just under 20 CHF which is pretty good for Switzerland and surely a bargain for Interlaken. Will definitely come again

It is the first time that we (my wife,son & I) have been back to Interlaken in 8 years! I have spoken to people often about this cafe and how good it was when we visited back in 2015. We went there today (Friday,28/07/2023) and I must admit I was a bit apprehensive as to if was as good as it was all those years ago. I needn’t have worried. It was just as good, if not better, than before! All the staff were very friendly and the food was just as good and tasty as it was back then. I would highly recommend to anyone that is visiting Interlaken and want a nice lunch at a reasonable price for Switzerland(!) to visit this cafe. You will not be disappointed. Confiserie Rieder on the market square in Interlaken is the number 1 when it comes to confectionery and cakes. Can be further recommended. Enough outside space in summer.

Soo good the food and the service

I ordered a birthday cake a day in advance so it was fresh. When I picked it up they gave me a cake that must have been from the day before or maybe even older. The cake was dry and no one finished their part and we were very disappointed. We will not buy cakes from this place again as it is not professional at all. Professional

Unfortunately, the quality of the baked goods is constantly declining. Tea biscuits were not fresh (dried) and no longer tasted as nice and buttery as they did in Werner Rieder's time.

We have been in Interlaken on Fridays and Saturdays for 3 weeks. Right next to the Confiserie Rieder. We have already ordered cafes, fine sandwiches, Hawaiian toast, delicious diplomat with raspberries, apricot cake and cheesecake. Everything was very fresh and so delicious that you would want more of it. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. I would love to take Confiserie Rieder with me to Aarberg. Enjoy a coffee/tea with a slice outside or in the store. It is worth it .. We would love to come back when we are in Interlaken.

Best coffee and chocolates I have ever had .

The cutest cafe I’ve been too in my time in Switzerland. They served the best cappuccino I’ve had and the cakes and truffles are sooooo good. Definitely the best bakery and coffee I’ve been too!

I searched for a cafe in Interlaken and went there because it was recommended by locals. It was definitely a place where there were few Koreans, so I felt like I was on a trip. And the owner was so kind, and the lady who took the order and the male owner were all non-racist and kindly explained the menu when I asked questions, so this was the best! When we were sitting at the table eating, people would pass by and ask if it was okay. When we said yes, the owner would smile and leave, so I was very satisfied. It was delicious and cost-effective, so I enjoyed it without any regrets. The chocolate cake was very rich chocolate itself, and the pear cake was a common fruit cake with fresh and sweet pears mixed with whipped cream, so I was able to enjoy it without any hesitation.

강추!! This bakery was a lovely place for us to start the day. We already had a cup of coffee in the morning at the hotel room so we only tried the pastries and the cake. It was so fresh and delicious. We had a chocolate croissant (Hubby’s choice) an almond croissant (my choice), a pineapple vanilla cream pastry and a slice of carrot cake 🥕 🍰. Everything was amazing!! The carrot cake had no frosting but still absolutely perfect balance of flavor and the texture. I wish everyone can try it! The owner was so welcoming and paid attention to our questions. Good selection, good food, friendly

We stayed 1 night passing through, very busy site full of locals having a great time, friendly helpful staff, being August it was rammed and we got the last space opposite the DJ I quite like Latin music but my other half prefers rock! The beach is literally across the road and gorgeous, plenty of places to eat on site and down the road, waste disposal was available and plenty of showers, there was only 1 toilet for each so that was why the 4stars

The cafe is centrally located in the middle of Interlaken. Comfortable chairs, we sat in the outside area with reduced traffic. Staff is very friendly, service works flawlessly. You order inside at the counter. Essem is very tasty and is served attractively, and there is a mini jug with sauce to go with the salad. The ice cream parlor as a dessert is highly recommended (without alcohol). By the way, the toilet was very clean, bravo. With the bill there was a free homemade champagne truffle. Perfect and happy again.

Ice cream and coffee were very nice. The condition is very very friendly and attentive. It is very nicely decorated, with attention to detail.

We visited for coffee and cake today and it was very good. The staff seem to be new or in training so needed a bit of help with serving but we've all been there so know how difficult it is until you are fully trained. The cakes tasted good and the coffees were too. The place seems to be very popular locally as I remember seeing a film crew doing a scene there yesterday. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick bite.

Located in the middle of Interlaken. A little hidden but very romantic. The service is extremely attentive and friendly. Smiling is simply contagious. Everything is freshly prepared here. The cheese and spinach cakes are an insider tip. The best in the world. Whether for a hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, or simply for coffee and cake in between. You feel comfortable here. And the patisserie and chocolate specialties, a dream. Small but nice is absolutely right here. 😊
