Employees are very unfriendly and impatient. I asked for a glass of water for my son, who got a portion of pasta and came to the table WITHOUT water. She said she would have to charge me for the water from the tap. Then my collar burst!!!!!

Customers are waiting (approx. 10 people), the employees all gather at the coffee machine for a chat... one runs to the customers, something is quickly done at the cash register and back to the "Council of States"...

Customer friendliness ZERO points - today again at the Emmencenter Bachmann. Few people. A customer is served by an employee. Two young men are standing at the counter, talking and laughing. I would like to pay for my goods. Wait. Still waiting, the two gentlemen are having fun but they don't really care about the customers. I make myself noticed and show the young, blonde, chubby MA that I want to pay. At first he just looks at me and continues talking to his friend. I'm waiting! I now ask him directly if I can pay. Again he looks at me rather annoyed and stupid and says, yes, yes... he's coming, but continues to talk diligently to the other colleague. Great MA you hired there. This is how you lose customers, which is actually a shame

I think Bachmann has the best croissants. Good in taste, fresh and simply delicious. Otherwise I can't write anything negative so far. For a while the milk coffee was a bit cold, but fortunately it has been improved.

As in every Bachmann branch, a top selection. However, waiting times are sometimes long and not all salespeople are friendly, but that is acceptable.

I've really enjoyed going to the Emmencenter for years and I love going to the Bachmann even more. Unfortunately, the quality of the employees has declined because they often don't know their own product range or don't understand what you want. However, the long-standing employees at the Emmencenter are outstanding. Noah in particular is a ray of sunshine every day with his friendly nature. The 'cooks' are also very friendly and accommodating!

I have been a Bachmann customer for years as I have had changing work locations, so for me the staff at the Bachmann Emmencenter is the friendliest team. They do a great job, are always friendly and provide great service. I always look forward to seeing the smiling faces and enjoying my delicious coffee. Thanks for that, keep it up!

I was there with my family and relatives with small children, and there was so much unrest that they took our plates away to wash even though we were still eating and talking at the table, just because it was close to closing time you don't have to turn on the cleaning machine and walking around we couldn't talk in peace it was too loud. Checkout staff were not reliable. on January 25, 2023

I find it an absolute no-go when the staff circles around the tables with a large floor cleaning machine while I want to drink my latte macchiato in peace. There were still 2 hours until the end of the day. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that the saleswoman washed her hands after cleaning. It would be desirable and more important if the tables were cleared and cleaned a little more often. I would like to be able to relax and rest in peace in a café with clean, cleared tables. The prices are not low and that's why I can expect something. I don't accept any excuses and every restaurateur would agree with me. If I have to teach even the most basic rules of etiquette to a restaurant as a guest, the fun stops for me. I will no longer consider this company and will look for alternatives that know the basics and don't ignore them.

Incredibly bad service! 12/14/22 3:30 p.m. The youngest worker is very unfriendly and talks with chewing gum. The second employee was no more friendly than the first and refused to give my 4 year old son a small glass of Hane water even though we had ordered two coffees and three muffins. He went to her alone and asked nicely for some Hane water, and she refused him, saying that he had to buy something else to get some Hane water. A 4 year old child. Thank you Bachmann and don't expect us to ever set foot in your store again and we have been coming to the same store for years. greeting

Is it normal that out of 5 salespeople, 4 stand around and chat and therefore you have to wait twice as long until the 5th saleswoman has put everything away?

Rarely have I experienced such unfriendly staff! After 5 minutes of queuing at the checkout, the employee tells me in an unfriendly tone that the checkout is closed. At the checkout next door I get a “next one please” and when I asked if I could also order food from her, all I got was “otherwise I wouldn’t have called you…” Given the store concept with pizza/pasta/baked goods without labels, it may not be as intuitive as the employees think. No matter, someone else will definitely be happy to take my money...

In the restaurant, ordered a strawberry frappe and paid for it. But there isn't at all. The money was returned, but the service wasn't that friendly.

The selection and quality of the goods are top! I would have rated this 5 stars :) Unfortunately there are only 2 stars because the employees are unfriendly, slow and rude. Unfortunately, I had this experience myself at Emmencenter and Mall of Switzerland...but I also saw it from other customers. Which I think is a shame, because in the future I won't be getting my "Z'morning" there anymore :(

After I saw that husband and wife also got pizza, I thought I could try it. Amazingly good dough. I got a chicken curry, all in all very tasty.

Ordered a plate of bread rolls for company, good is different, rolls were dry, no butter, tasted like they were 1-2 days old. Price/performance (too overpriced). Not recommendable. Next time I'll order from Manor.

As always, I was looking forward to a frappe at Bachmann. I ordered two but they were milky like a milk drink. That was anything but a frappe!! I went back and complained because the frappe was never so milky, but thicker than normal. The waitress was very arrogant and didn't even want to offer to make a new one. I think it's a real shame because I came to get a frappe almost every day. Despite stress, you can remain friendly!!

The pizza had rubbery cheese and horrible dough

The Ziegerkrapfen are just great, one star is deducted because I've noticed several times that employees would rather fill up a full bread shelf than serve waiting customers. And perhaps the learners should be given a more intensive course in what they are actually selling, at times they seem pretty clueless.

Very dissatisfied staff! Everyone has NO FAT written all over their faces! A smile doesn't hurt. Make yourself and your customers happy! I also ask you to pay attention to all customers and to serve everyone that you don't like doing so much. Shade... Hope this improves

It took me a long time to finally leave a Google review. I have given you (Bachmann Emmen Center) another chance again and again, but now it's enough. Not only the operation leaves something to be desired, but also the lack of quality. Cheese for the pasta, which is not checked and has mold (this several times), orders that are not passed on, communication in the team, which prefers private conversations and telling jokes instead of taking orders/executing orders. When you have complaints (as in the case of mold ;)), you are personally not taken seriously by the management and are made fun of. Apparently if there is mold in the food it is too much to ask for a refund. Let alone a voucher. Staff is anything but motivated, with a few exceptions. We are all human and I completely understand having a bad day BUT I doubt it will last. Lack of work ethic and possibly choosing the wrong career. Questionable recruitments.

Very bad! It's a mess what's going on! Very poor hospitality and no respect for customers. 7 people behind the cash register but no one wanted to serve! Waited 10 minutes at the checkout but they thought it was better to talk to each other! There definitely has to be an ending.

My husband and I didn't think the selection of drinks was bad! The waitresses are always extremely friendly and extremely accommodating. I really enjoy this every time I visit. The seating is extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the seats to be very adequate. There you don't get the feeling that you're eating like sardines in a can. I can really recommend the place!

The larger than life chocolate fountain is great. Otherwise, the usual, beloved Bachmann selection and quality.

Eat there at least once a week. Most of the food is edible and the staff is friendly. Eating in the cafe is more expensive which does not make sense to me. Other than that it’s typical Swiss Prices. The reason for the bad review is the downgrading in food quality over the years. Foods like the Ravioli used to be 1a quality. Now they changed to horrible tasting much cheaper quality Ravioli for the same price as before. Sauces for the pastas has seen the same changes. Shame on you Bachmann for being downgrading your quality and constantly changing your dishes that used to be great.

Huge selection of fine, crispy rolls (addictive 😉). In my opinion the best baker far and wide... It's nice how the company takes the time to comment on the individual reviews. This shows how important customer satisfaction is to him 👏.

This is a place I visit frequently. It's inside one of the bigger malls around (Emmen Center - easily accessable by public transportation). It's part of a bigger franchise with lots of stores in the town of Lucerne. They do sell pastries, bread, sandwiches and much more here. The pastries and desserts are quite fine, but especially the bread is really good. But we always come here to have lunch in the attached Café / restaurant (dogs allowed). You wouldn't expect much from it, but it serves really good food. Easy stuff like Nuggets, fries and hot sandwiches. But very good are the Pizzas and the Pasta. Service is fine. You order at the counter and you pick up your food yourself when it's ready....and it's ready pretty fast, even when the place is packed. Pizza with the hot salami (hot peperoni) is mostly my choice. Sometimes I go for the a bit more adventurous Pizza with Pineapple and Curry. But also the pasta is very well made. Pesto Ravioli for example....great choice. Comes with the nice pesto sauce, permesan cheese and a good load of pine nuts on top. Small portion (about 10-12 pieces) cost about 12 CHF. Pizza are between 12 and 16 CHF. So it is actually a pretty cheap place to eat....and it's better than many restaurants around (or in Lucerne). Like I said, we come here frequently....and the quality is always good, they have a good standard and you won't be disappointed. There's also free WiFi.

Yesterday, December 23rd, 2017, I was in the Bachmann shop with my child. I wanted to buy ice cream for my child. The ice cream seller pretended she didn't see me and didn't even pay attention to me. I had to wait so long. New customers kept coming in. But the saleswoman sold to this customer first, even though they arrived later. It could be because of my Asian origins. I now expect respect, justice, politeness and common sense. Thank you

Good sandwiches, price rather high

Extortionate pricing, everything is self service and self cleanup. No WiFi. Playground very poorly equipped. Good food though.
