My visit on February 16th at 5:00 p.m. was not satisfactory. Despite the empty store, we waited 20-30 minutes without being greeted or served. I have experienced this type of service several times in the past. Due to these repeated incidents we will no longer be eating at this store. Really very arrogant service and employees.

Serving daughter couldn't answer simple questions. No reservation possible for pizza in the evening. Owner not hospitable.

Haven't been to Peperoncini in a while. Last week we spontaneously decided to have dinner in the evening. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I received my paninis that were completely charred and I couldn't really eat them. One was less charred and the other I took a photo of and didn't eat. I then waited until the service employee came and asked if everything was okay with us. We were there for over an hour and the service staff didn't come to us once. I then pushed the plate visibly to the other side of the table but no one cared. The empty plates and coffee glasses were not cleared away until we got up. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time. I would have liked to have at least one more dessert, but the employees were busy in the back room and didn't come to us. When we wanted to pay we had to go to the front and then waited there again until someone finally came to the front. What I experienced on Sunday was a shame and not what I was used to from pepperoncini.

The pizza is really very good and the prices are average for being in central Switzerland. I found the wine a little expensive, although the Rosé was good but 9 CHF for a glass is a bit much. Parking is limited but there are others available in the area. It's worth going because the pizza was truly excellent. I recommend booking.

At Peperoncini I enjoyed a delicious "Pizza Quattro Stagioni" on perfect dough.

I used to be a regular customer, but in the last few months the quality of the pizza has declined, making it really unpleasant. Today I ate a pizza that was practically flat and had no crust. It was overcooked and looked more like a biscuit with tomato. I'm sorry to say this, but she was really bad. Six months ago I ate the best pizza in Lucerne from Peperoncini, but today it has the same quality as a pizza from a kebab shop. After 5 hours I still can't digest your pizza. If you are just a pizza restaurant, you should definitely invest in a good pizza maker. This is just my opinion. Thank you and best regards

HANDS OFF!!!!! Had to wait 20 minutes until we were served. After that the food was ordered. After 40 minutes two pizzas arrived. We had no cutlery at the table. Only after 10 minutes of asking did the cutlery come I ordered a Greek salad without olives, the salad arrived 15 minutes after my friends got the pizza and of course it came with olives Ordered a new one and received it after 10 minutes. The salad was without dressing. He only gave me olive oil and pepper. Only later when I asked I was given truffle oil and balsamic vinegar. They don't have any vinegar or normal salad sauce So my conclusion: it was dead in the restaurant and I'm very disappointed

I was at the round table with a colleague at the front and the food was great, but there was a very long waiting time of 20 minutes for the dessert menu, then another 20 minutes for the dessert to be ordered to be forgotten. Hospitality is a foreign word in this restaurant, the boss was totally arrogant towards us and annoyed. The three of us went for a quick stop at Peperoncini, a quick snack and a few delicious drinks. Unfortunately there were no cocktails because the bar keeper was free, aperol or Hugo would work but unfortunately nothing more. There weren't any paninis either, or at least not that we wanted to order. It took at least 20 minutes for someone to come to our table until one of us asked at the bar whether we would still be served today. The boss was nice eating pizza and happy on the phone. She looked over at our table several times, but we weren't served. Absolute impudence, after 30 minutes we were told that pizza wasn't available until 6 p.m. because there was no pizzaiolo there. That's all well and good, but we could have been informed beforehand. After about 40 minutes we got our first drinks, and in a rude manner. We certainly won't be visiting this store again, our last visit to Peperoncini was in October because we don't live nearby. It's a shame that so much has changed, we were really excited at our last family get-together in October. Our recommendation to you is that you first get a new boss and service staff.

Very bad, very bad, we ordered 1 rum, 5 coffees and a cola and the bar manager didn't even give me time to drink it because my partner had the computer open and she was having a work talk with our own portable WiFi and consuming drinks like the others customers... but what kind of bar is this... that you are consuming and they are constantly asking you if you drink something else... insinuating that you are bothering. So there is a minimum order to open a computer... as far as I know a mobile is also a computer and they don't bother you like that....the bill for the drink is 37.80 chf. I won't come back again

Today I had dinner at Peproncini again after a long time. The Lockal has improved so much, the pizza is great and the staff are friendly and competent. You can clearly see that the new manager has the store really under control. I can give a clear recommendation, also a great location for business and/or family dinners.

Unfortunately I no longer recommend it. Pizza? No thanks, never again. The dough, a rubbery and salty. After 10 minutes I had jaw and stomach pain. The ingredients couldn't save our 2 pizzas, they were just as bad. I'm sorry to write this, it would be nice if you spent over 30 for 2 pizzas that you would get something decent.

Great pizza and the restaurant looks great, very nice with wood and stone, you just have to wait a little longer if there are several people, then 2 or 3 pizzas always come at the same time and then you have to wait again, well I think they have it somehow an oven in which only 2 or 3 pizzas go, but otherwise everything is great.

Been to peperoncini again after a long time. It's been almost a year since our last visit and we actually didn't want to give the store another chance. Friends of ours were able to convince us that things are much better with the new team and the new management. Expectations were exceeded, everything happened extremely quickly. We had our drinks after less than a minute, despite being busy. The pizza was very good, you can also tell that the new pizzaioli are at work. After we told the operations manager what we experienced on our last visit, he offered us an espresso. This time the mood in the team was great, everyone was laughing with the guests and very attentive. A bit like in Italy, I would say that's exactly what the pepperoncini was missing. And we have to be honest, the new host and his team nailed it 100%. Joy at work, and with the necessary Italian flair. We have accepted the apology and are already looking forward to our next visit. This evening around 7:00 p.m. I wanted to order a pizza take away. I wasn't given a menu card to see what they had on offer. The employee pointed to something that was stuck on the coffee machine behind the tons of glasses where you first had to put it away yourself in order to be able to read something. I didn't feel really welcome, more like someone you want to get rid of quickly. If you don't want to wait 30 minutes for a 0815 pizza, Peperoncini in Emmen is the right place for you. Not even the pizza was sliced. I cannot recommend this pizzeria! There are plenty of pizzerias that can do it better! Price performance is not right!

Very bad. It was my mother's birthday and the tiramisu was forgotten. After we molded it and they did that and gave it to the wrong person. Antipasti served without a plate and for the price there was little on the plate and the quality of the dish was also poor.

I don't know who owns this place, it seems the owner has no idea what's going on in this place. Great facilities, beautiful terrace, anything else is a disaster. We and my wife were disappointed there twice already. Waited 20 minutes to order a coffee. But the managing director comes with a dog bowl next to the table to serve the dog first. Simply tragic

The food was great! Good selection and the monthly pizza was sensational. Our waitress, KIBELA, was sooooo great. With her open and cheerful nature she put a smile on the guests' faces. She understands her craft very well and knows how to deal with guests. You can tell that she has a lot of experience when it comes to service. She's a win for the pepperoncini! We'd love to come back.

First I had to wait 15 minutes until the waiter came and wanted something to eat and asked for the card (the gentleman sitting next to me left for 5 minutes) unfortunately it didn't come. The drink was probably brought to me by the owner and I asked again for a menu, unfortunately nothing again. Then I wanted to pay, called 3 times, then got up and the waiter finally came. a no go for me!!!

I'm Mrs. Kalbermatter, I enjoyed going out to dinner with all the staff and all the doctors, but yesterday I was very disappointed and sad about the weekly staff changes and unfortunately not for the better. Unfortunately I have to look for a new place for 15 people who want to get together once a week and want it to be cozy and modest. After all, we all work and we expect a relaxed atmosphere when we go out to eat. Certainly not offensive behavior from the HR manager, who looks like she's brand new in this area and doesn't try to be good and respectful. Things like that are harmful. Not recommended!

Staff without training - cheeky and primitive - tables that were marked with a reservation were still not occupied in the next 2 hours. Drinks were brought after 45 minutes by a kitchen assistant who was the only one who appeared professional. On May 26th, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. there were 10 of us spread over different tables, which were still dirty from the previous guests, even though there was space everywhere. After actually saying this restaurant was good, this convinced us that you don't want to have to deal with new staff every week who, above all, have no idea what they do. We left around 1000 CHF behind and really regret it. Absolutely not recommended if you want to stay in a good mood!! Not worth a “star”!

Although the staff come from all corners of the world, you feel like a stranger even though you are local. The waitress certainly has no training in this area. Every order was served incorrectly. Service barely made eye contact… no friendly demeanor. There wasn't much going on and the staff still seemed very stressed. Felt out of place. Newly opened in March with the usual Peperoncini quality and ambience! Very attentive staff. Pizza was excellent. At lunchtime with a free menu salad. I'm already looking forward to spring when it gets warm enough on the terrace 😉 Tiramisu is also highly recommended.

I have been trying to place an order online since 4:30 pm, it is now 6 pm. The order keeps getting "missed" you cannot tell me that it is because it is so busy when I have been trying for so long. I cannot even get to try your pizza because your system for ordering online is awful. I have heard only good things about the food but I cannot even get to eat it.

From one of the famous chain of restaurants in the area...7 or 9...the quality changes from one restaurant to another...even in the same restaurant, the quality varies according to the pizza workers...but for a while now I have noticed that this pizza worker, Giuseppe, provides quality... Great quality and service... For Muslims, it focuses on the cleanliness of the product and meets special requests. As for me, I took what is known as a calzone...it is known to be stuffed with pork...but I asked him to stuff it with tuna and onions and and and and...it was really wonderful.

Unfortunately we were received very unfriendly and incompetent today. Were sent away because supposedly only one person works alone. We were not offered an option. Ordered online and specified pizza to be cut, it was not cut. After 75 minutes the order wasn't complete and the waiter wanted to make our salad himself, so we canceled. Very bad service today.
