Loved the place .. used to go there all the time 10 years ago. Went back today.. I had a lovely tarte tatin.. and a morrocan tea.. which wasn't really morrocan 😵‍💫 i kept having drops of tea on the table and drops on me so I checked the cup and realised it was broken and just at that moment the cup broke and I was covered with tea.. my sweater, jeans and shoes were wet...the guy gave me 2 napkins 😂😂😂 got so annoyed that I left and asked for the check .. I was stunned when they charged me for the tea.. I mentioned it to the girl and she said : do you want to take it to go ! Really ? That's all she's got to say ? I live 2h away from Geneva.. the tea is full of sugar and wasn't going back home before 10pm when this happened around 5pm . Thank you for the consideration

Delicious coffee, wonderful sandwiches, special thanks for the Nutella from my children 😅 the staff is friendly, the food arrived quickly. There are few breakfast places in the area and this is one of the best.

Pleasant atmosphere in this island of greenery, surrounded by a surrounding urban jungle...but the smoke from an outdoor stove has invaded the interior of the place...

Pleasant, quiet place. Quiet and very good atmosphere. We had savory toast with salmon, egg, avocado and red pesto and basil mozzarella, rhubarb jam and date cake. Very good experience.

The waiter is very friendly and understands Spanish, the house chocolate is not chocolate, it is a glass of milk with colacao. On the other hand, the toast bread is very good.

We had hot chocolate, which was good, but the waitress's treatment left a lot to be desired. Foreigners are treated the worst last. Something expensive.

A magical little space in the heart of Geneva, the atmosphere is cozy and perfect for having a hot chocolate or a glass of wine. I loved the place. I haven’t tasted their cooking but the squash soup looked delicious!

I discovered this place during a walk by the lake. Smiling, friendly waiter and waitress. Small wood fire on the terrace which gives a warm atmosphere. Recommended location

A sweet little restaurant. Perfect for breakfast on a cold and dreary morning. My muesli came with an assortment of fruit, carefully cut and artistically arranged on top. Very nice service.

Lovely place, I really liked the books available everywhere. The exemplary welcome: smiling and warm. Despite a late arrival and the kitchen being closed, they reopened it to serve us some hot tapas. They even put the coffee machine back on after cleaning for us. I highly recommend this establishment.

My colleagues and I often come here after work to eat and chat. Today, we were served by a middle-aged woman who was rude, impatient, impolite, and full of resentment, making everyone in the restaurant feel very uncomfortable. We really like this restaurant, but we feel that this waitress has really ruined the atmosphere of this place! It used to be our favorite gathering spot, but now it's hard to say…

"The waitress unfortunately made my experience very unpleasant. Her attitude was not only cold, but she used unbizarre language which seriously affected my enjoyment of the desert. I hope the establishment will take steps to train their staff to offer more respectful and pleasant customer service, as this can considerably influence the overall perception of the restaurant despite the quality of the cuisine."

Cosy place, incredible food. The savoury sweet potato pie, and something with figs and cheese were absolute bangers. The aubergine tomato and gorgonzola was quite fun too.

if you want to see servers who pull their faces, go for it!! the waitress looked like a mother-in-law who doesn't want to see you on a Sunday afternoon. Afterwards, if you like stinky hippie atmospheres, go there.

Very nice cafe, with delicious sweets and good coffee, it is half hidden in a garden that invites you to relax.

We stopped to have a glass of wine and the atmosphere of the park and the place itself surprised us. It's great and a very good deal. We would have something again without thinking about it.

It is one of the most amazing in town restaurants in Geneva, and it's located not far from the lake. The menu needs exploring as there are many selections for you to choose. I am sure that you won't regret any of them. Above all, this is one of the few cafe/ restaurant that stays open late in Geneva

We were quite jet-lagged from our flight to Geneva from the US, so after a little hotel nap, we stopped into Cottage Cafe for an espresso drink. The service was great; they helped with recommendations. The location was ideal, very relaxing and cute place!

The only place we went to more than once. If you're looking for a cozy spot for a great coffee and light breakfast, this is it. No hot breakfast food items.

2:00 p.m. sunny day in September it was very difficult for me to be served a coffee + browny + glass of water together. 20 min wait with watch in hand. Not enough staff? Or overwhelmed? The location is magnificent but the service is really insufficient in terms of HR. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. As a local resident, I love this beautiful place and am a little disappointed with these serious bugs in the service. Thank you for following. .

Absolutely perfect everything. We came across the cafe by accident. We went without looking at the reviews. Service very nice. Instead of coffee, we had lunch here, from the daily menu (for Geneva, the price of a meal is surprisingly reasonable, 20-26 francs). Food with excellent taste and appearance. I can only recommend it is worth a visit.

In a place like Switzerland, the food quality far exceeds the price

I was really disappointed with the service. The waitress was rude as soon as we arrived. The food was OK but the children's dish was really not filling (pasta with tomato sauce in a small bowl). But above all more than 40 minutes late to bring the desserts at different times for everyone, without any word of apology or a smile which would certainly have made it easier to accept the situation! All this to finally have the dessert which was average with a burnt taste. Too bad because the place on the terrace is very beautiful and which a few years before I had loved.

Great food, nice staff, but I was attacked by bees the entire meal. Like swarms of bees and there was just no way to stop the bee attack. They were flying in the chasselas, flying in the chevre chaud, eating the lovely berries I was served. It was a bee fest. If you're into bees try it out

Of course it's a quite nice place And given its location whatever I give a favorable or unfavorable or fair opinion😄 in any case this restaurant will be full thanks to its location... A small downside all the same what when you have an aperitif they don't have any small meals to accompany your drink.NB Ps.. Because it was a little too early!!!! 4 p.m..🫣 And also not really any Swiss wine available..😭😭😭

Warm welcome both for the reservation (highly recommended in the evening) and once on site. A smiling, attentive team advised and served us. The setting is magical, the decor very cozy. A big congratulations to the cuisine which delighted our taste buds with a fireworks display of flavors with undoubtedly fresh products. The wine list reserves subtle and tasty local surprises, even exclusive!... Thank you 😍

A few choices of Desserts. But the service is quick and the atmosphere is amazing. You're in the middle of the city but don't really hear the traffic.

Food is alright! Location of it is good too and you do enjoy some view while having your meal. But the service is the definition of cr*p! I guess they are tired of tourists and just don’t want visitors. The guy throw the menus on our table and we had to call at least a couple of them to get to order. We asked 3 different staff for our bill cause they kept forgetting and this is 10am in the morning they had maybe 6 more tables of customers.

The food was great but the guy/waiter who served us was too confident and didn't write our orders, as a result our orders were messed up.

A beautiful café in the middle of a small park just behind the Brunswick Monument. We were here at lunchtime on a sunny day, had to queue for a few minutes for a table and therefore had to wait a long time for the food. Despite the crowds, the service team seemed very practiced and was also very friendly despite the stress. The dishes are fine but not outstanding. The café gains more from its visual charm.

Hundreds of bees in the garden. The minute my food came (toast with jam), twenty bees landed on my plate. 2 stars because the garden was beautiful and the food looked great, but I couldn’t even eat it, and there were so many bees on it that we couldn’t box it up. Ended up paying $20 for a sip of coffee and a couple of berries.

Amazing place in the center of Geneva, in the edge of a green with a view of the lake. Service was fast and super friendly, had an oriental platter to share and it was super tasty. Will go again !

It was so bad that they refuse to give us a table , it was raining and my family decided to have a breakfast over there, we walked in the rain , but after we reached there , the waiter refused to let us in and although most tables was empty said there is no table available . I have no positive interpretation for this action

Nice place, by the lake, but a little quiet all the same. The kitchen is good. However, a big downside for wines which should not be stored in a cellar and which are served at room temperature. So when it's 35 degrees, it's a shame for the red wine.

Pleasantly surprised with the tasteful dishes in this reataurant. Great place to relax, fill your tummy with good food before the your next adventure. The staff rating isn’t 5 simply because I found them undermanned but overall it’s a great place to dine.

Always a pleasure to eat there! The setting is still as pleasant with the view of the water jet and the fountain and bucolic with the bees and the birds and the plants... Dishes as good as ever and in delicious quantities 🤤. The honey pecan pie is really delicious 👍👍!!

A very picturesque setting, but the service is slow and the food is not good. For example, chicken was warmed up and not cooked on the spot, and their coffee is not recommended. Overall, not worth it

Beautiful place, good atmosphere although very noisy. For more peace and quiet, ask for a table a little further away. Very good tapas! On the other hand, it's a real torture to spend the evening on these wooden chairs... The cleanliness of the toilets is truly deplorable. The waiter was very nice but our empty plates had difficulty being cleared. A very good evening all the same

Nice and busy spot for a drink after work or light dinner. The food is quite amazing and above my expectation. It’s good to know in advance that they are very busy and you may need to wait more than 30 minutes for your cocktail. However the service is quite good and we were waiting comfortably with the great view to the lake.

Quietly in a garden, a simple little restaurant that I would describe as a hidden gem off the beaten track. Delicious homemade dishes. Reservation almost obligatory because it's always full (it's a good sign) I loved this place

Good place and it is next to the lake. Very good views. It has a variety of dishes, although I haven't tried it. Just a coffee that is very good, (they just needed to add a good croissant, which they didn't have) Very good attention from the girl.
