Good bakery with delicious bread!

I bought a vanilla croissant filled with delicious vanilla cream on a bed of plum compote and enjoyed it at home. Wonderful pastry composition, highly recommended! Price/performance is also great! Thank you!

I have been ordering my cakes from Burkhard Bakery for years and have never been disappointed. I was always very satisfied with the performance, fast and flexible. I buy butter croissants almost every Friday. Today they were super dry and without any glaze. Goods from the day before?

Very friendly service, large selection of baked goods and patisserie. Sandwiches are richly topped, salads are small for the price.

Every time I buy something there I really like it. It's my favorite bakery, but the best thing is the desserts there. I've never eaten any delicious ones.

I did comparisons side by side against Le Panetier, Schloss Beck, Pan-Orama, Chez Rüfi on several types of Gepfeli, Zopf, dark bread etc.. I must say Burkhard is the best, Le Panetier being very closely 2nd, Schloss Beck & Pan-Orama quite disappointing. For Chez Rüfi it is hit or miss. Some are good, some are just bad & quite expensive.

I was there yesterday afternoon and wanted to buy bread which I was told would take 20 minutes to bake. When I returned after 20 minutes to pick up the bread, I was told they hadn't had time to put it in the oven, if so I wish you could do this now, it would take another 20 minutes.........NO THANK YOU!

Very good bakery, the products are delicious! Wide choice and what's more, it's open on Sunday! The chocolate croissants are killer.
