A very, very fine Italian meal freshly prepared from our own kitchen. A deliberately quiet ambience due to the limited number of tables and yet an intimate atmosphere that the host couple exudes. Reservation strongly recommended. And then just enjoy!

In the splendid setting of Silvaplana, finally a true Italian restaurant. The place is intimate and welcoming, the service attentive but never intrusive. Compliments also go to the Chef because his dishes are truly one better than the other. Definitely worth a visit.

The da Franco restaurant in Silvaplana is a must-see and a must-try culinary experience! Alex is a creative chef, who revisits and proposes traditional Italian dishes: a joy for the palate. Among the starters I tasted a special salad with red apples, walnuts, avocado and honey sauce. Superlative "my carbonara". For dessert I chose the Gianduiotto Torinese with chocolate and hazelnuts: a real delight! All homemade and washed down with courtesy and hospitality.

My favorite place to go in Silvaplano and one of the best restaurants in Engadin. The food quality is like you would be in a top restaurant in Italy. And the staff and chef are always super friendly.

Small room with large windows overlooking Lake Champfer. Informal, attentive and friendly service. The owner/chef Alex manages to convey all his passion and dedication for good Italian cuisine in all his dishes. I have always thought that abroad it is useless to eat in an Italian restaurant: here I had to change my mind. It is an authentic restaurant, which offers excellent dishes with homemade pasta. The wine list is interesting. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I actually wanted to give 6* but that is unfortunately not possible. Only goes to 5! We were there for Dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious. It’s a small sort of boutique restaurant. We had a nice table in the corner. You do need to make reservations and don’t be surprised to see now and then a person that might look familiar to you. We had a nicely presented colorful salad as starter. The dressing outstanding. For main to pasta main courses. Not too often I get to eat pasta this good and nicely presented. IMPORTANT leave some room for Dessert you will be in for a nice surprise. When you have true professionals at work it’s a pleasure to watch and enjoy a meal. That includes service of course. We loved here and could highly recommend for you to eat here. Price are higher than usual but we’ll worth for the quality of service and food you get here. Have a great time.

Small, very welcoming and well-kept place. The fact that it is small is a great advantage because Franco, the owner, will be able to take care of all your requests and, believe me, you will be thrilled! The goodness and authenticity of the dishes are combined with a calm and very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant also has a small outdoor terrace, ideal for enjoying the delicacies that the restaurant offers. Very generous dishes. The pasta was homemade and delicious, the bread incredible and made there. The treatment by the waiter and the chef was unbeatable, very pleasant. Finally, the best tiramisù I have ever eaten in my life.

There are not many seats in the restaurant, but luckily you can be seated without waiting without a reservation. The waiters are friendly and the food is of high quality. Although the price is a bit expensive, it's totally worth it!

Loved it here! The owner and chef were very kind and the food was amazing. A but pricey but absolutely worth it. I ended up staying for quote a but dye to rain and long bus wait times but they were very kind and friendly.

Just got here around 9:30 pm and they accommodated us. The salad and bread service top notch, music and vino also excellent. With most places closed, we are so thankful to find a welcoming restaurant, with delicious nutritious sustenance. Can’t wait til the next course: vegetarian pasta for me and chicken curry w veggies for my mate. And the next course was even better! I had the pasta: with shaved feta and veggie, perfect texture and flavor. Came with a side of potatoes and zucchini. And my mate wouldn’t share the chicken curry! All good because we did share the dessert. Hazelnut torta… Will sleep well and have good dreams. Good people. Good life.

A great discovery in Silvaplana! A family-run restaurant, nestled in a beautiful landscape. Excellent cuisine, incredible appetizers, I tried the scampi crudo and it was excellent, the fish very fresh. Followed by the homemade tagliolino with fresh pasta and to finish in style the house millefeuille. Everything was excellent, I will definitely be back! See you soon!
