Great food and great flexible service

There are many Italian restaurants in Zurich, but if you are still looking for authenticity at an excellent value for money, you are in the right place! The restaurant was recommended to me by a friend... we had dinner last Saturday with 4 adults plus a child and we were all enormously satisfied!! Very local welcoming and pleasant, the dishes exceptional from start to finish (they even bring you focaccia!!). Great praise also for the care and friendliness of the staff, a sincere and familiar welcome. Nice discovery, we will gladly return and... like all the best places we warmly recommend it!!

Best Italian Restaurant in Switzerland. Everything was delicious and everyone was very kind. And also very quiet. The Parmiggiana is fantastic and the rest they offer is also delicious. If you don't know it, it's a little difficult to find but it's worth it, trust me🤝

We went to Pizzeria Da Michele for the first time today over lunchtime. The restaurant is attractively designed and has a spacious terrace. Thanks to the nice weather we were able to enjoy a great view. I opted for the lunch menu and ordered a portion of ravioli. However, I was disappointed when I was served a plate with only 8 ravioli and the price was over 25 francs. This high price seems disproportionate to me. In addition, I found a hair in my dish, perhaps that is the reason for the high price. The double espresso I ordered was also disappointing. It looked like the coffee machine had been emptied of stale water. My colleagues didn't like or like the food either.

Super fine food. Every week there is a special menu that the waiters tell you from starters to the main course. Otherwise card whatever you always have. I love you Sicilia 🫶

Top authentic Italian. Good wines at fair prices, food super tasty and not just the run-of-the-mill stuff! The employees are extremely friendly, just like the boss himself. Always my pleasure!

The food was amazing. The atmosphere with a view of Uetliberg is also cool. But it is full during the lunch time and it's better to reserve and pre-order for a quick service. They have daily menus with Salat/soup as starter and everything was delicious

Really excellent food, but you have to know that there is a restaurant in the attic of this house. Definitely worth a visit!

Hidden gem in Zurich. Delicious food and friendly service, what could you wish for more?

Very good food Especially on the 5th floor. Therefore a very nice overview of the roofs of Zurich and a clear view of the Üetliberg. If you go out to eat there, you won't leave hungry.

After having lived for more than 2 years in Zurich, I discovered this place by chance while browsing Google Maps. But this place is far too good to encounter by chance. A 5-star recommendation because it is honestly the best food I have had in Zurich (in general), and the best Italian food as well. The portions are generous, the food is presented and tastes so well, and the service is the cherry on top. The place is hidden, but once taking the elevator 5 floors up, and opening what seems like a random door, you enter a place of serenity and feel like you have a little piece of Italy just to yourself. The terrace overlooks the Uetliberg, is decorated with beautiful flowers, and all is left to do is enjoy the view and the food - which Michele and the other hosts make all too easy. I will come back here, and hope to celebrate my 30th birthday here. Yes, it was that good.

The staff is very friendly. The terrace is nice. The food (pasta, starters) were very tasty. The pizza bread is freshly baked. I find the pizza rather average and boring, run of the mill and not special. The portions are large and you won't leave the restaurant hungry. The price performance doesn't quite match for me. There are special daily specials that are explained to you every day. That's all well and good, but you can't see the prices. Then it quickly gets to the point where you pay over 20 for a starter and 34 for a pizza.

We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday in a private setting, everything was great, from the planning to the service. The buffet was TOP, pizzas were super tasty and in all variations :-) I can only recommend everything! Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful day!

I was very happy with my visit to Da Michele Italian Restaurant! Although the entrance is a bit hidden, it's definitely worth finding. Located on the top floor, the restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. All employees are Italian, which makes the atmosphere more authentic. There is also a large selection of lunch menus at fair prices. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. The sun terrace is also a big plus point where you can enjoy the view over the city. I'm already looking forward to trying more dishes. An absolute must for anyone who loves Italian cuisine!

THE insider tip for anyone who is homesick for Italy. Eating, drinking and food are just like being “at home” in Italy. Can recommend it unreservedly. The terrace is fantastic even in summer. ♥️

The food and service are fantastic every time! The specialties off the menu are varied and imaginative and we have never regretted following Michele's recommendations. Great location high up with a roof terrace. The food is great anyway, traditional and varied - it's better to make a reservation for lunch. Michele and his team are really very accommodating, that's how service makes you feel good. Great family celebration, even exceptionally on Sundays, thank you.

There were six of us there for lunch. The 2 pizzas were served after about 20 minutes. The other 4 people chose from the lunch menus. After waiting for an hour, the other four people were also served their food.

Second time here and completely satisfied again. Very tasty food, great wines and very courteous service and direct contact with the boss. Simply well managed. Prices rather low for Zurich. The Cordon Bleu with truffles is uniquely good, as are all the dishes. Real Italian holiday flair.

A not yet known Italian restaurant in Zurich that offers excellent service. The staff is very friendly and always tries to fulfill the wishes of the customers. The owner is also very charismatic and the dishes at Pizzeria Trattorie da Michele are the best I've ever tasted! Highly recommended in summer as they have a terrace with a breathtaking view. I would give more stars if I could ;)

A real, authentic Italian restaurant with a wonderful terrace. (The interior takes a little getting used to, but also has an Italian touch.) Very good cuisine. The pizza is excellent, but it is worth trying meat or fish. All wines are served by the glass.

Da Michele: best Italian food with a twist of Swiss taste. When you cross the door of this restaurant is like being teleported to Southern Italy. Lovely place and delicious food from a quite long menu. Difficult to leave unsatisfied. Price wise, it is in line with Zurich average. No surprises here.

Nothing special as a place but good typical Italian food for a lunch. During the summer time they have a great terrace to sit. Prices are normal and the portions are big. Always recommend their truffle carbonara dish.

The food and the staff were great. One star is deducted because of the location, which is a bit decentered and can hardly be perceived as a restaurant from the outside, otherwise it's a really nice atmosphere.
