One visit at da Nino, and you shall have a hard time finding a decent pizzeria anywhere else (with the obvious exception of Italy course).

The pizza here is so good! I went there for two days in a row. I went for dinner first and got a pizza Margherita. The person sitting next to me had a pizza philoma (sp?) It looked so good that I went back the next day for lunch and ordered that one. I can't decide which was better but the dough is tangy and chewy. The pizza is cooked to perfection. They are also so nice there. Very friendly and welcoming. I will be back whenever I am in Bern again.

Best Pizza in Bern, without doubt! The Restaurant is set up as a real Italian pizzeria: simple, small, loud. I like it so, just don’t expect a typical swiss restaurant!

As a pizza enthusiast, I can say that Da Nino makes the best Neapolitan pizza in Switzerland and offers it at the best price. The staff is very friendly. When the weather is nice (summer) there can be a waiting time of up to 1.5 hours.

My son told me that they had the world's best pizza here, honestly we didn't take him too seriously. But we wanted to see for ourselves. And wouwww... they have the pizza that comes pretty close to the best pizza we had in Naples and certainly the best in a very wide radius from what we have already experienced. The dough is just right... don't understand why those people at the next table cut it completely away ... Food waste, flavour confusion, overeating, hello how degenerate can you be? Back to our table ... the pastry is perfect. The topping is exceptional. The service courteous. The decor is somewhere between old-established and pop-up. It really was a fresh experience. World class, down to earth. Note: you can't make a reservation, which is totally fine for this concept, but they are kind enough to put you on the waiting list with an approximate time. Time to discover the other cool shops in the neighbourhood.

For me, simply the best pizza there is in Switzerland. So far it has only been better in Italy. The service is always friendly, you don't have to wait too long for the pizza and the price-performance ratio is great. Since you can't make a reservation, you have to be a little patient after 6:30 p.m. (especially Thursday and Friday), but even so we've never had to wait longer than 20-30 minutes.

Best pizza I have eaten in Bern. Pizzeria da Nino has a good selection of pizzas. To avoid the crowds, you have to arrive either early or late. The prices correspond 100% to the performance. Highly recommended! Gladly again :)

Best pizza in Bern. The dough is thin, crispy in the Napoli style, with incomparable perfection. The ingredients at the highest level (straciatella, olive puree, etc..) Passionate and attentive team.

Absolutely delicious pizza! Super fine dough and sauces! One of the best! It's worth the wait for this taste. We were in a bar while we waited and then they called us. But it's a bit difficult to plan the timing of how long you'll have to wait. If you have something else planned or something. The only negative thing was that it was very loud, there was a high throughput rate and therefore there wasn't a place to linger and enjoy a Friday evening, for example. You go there, eat delicious food and leave again.

Queuing at this culinary hotspot is not just a necessity, but a promise of culinary delights. It's worth getting there early, especially at lunchtime, to secure a spot. But the patience is more than rewarded when you look at the selection of creative pizza varieties, 10/10!

Amazing place! I was in Bern for 3 nights with 3 of my friends we ordered 3 different kinds of pizzas because we wanted to try them. They were so good and delicious that we came back the next night and tried 3 other pizzas. The sevice was very nice even tho it was full the waitress found us a table immediately and did our job easy with their english. They also were so kind to me helping me converting all my pennies for paper money to exchange them back home. Would absolutely recommend it and would love to go back there.

This pizza stands out as the best in Bern. Well, that I've tasted so far. Its quality rivals that of some of the finest pizzas I've had in Italy. The pizza dough, in particular, is impeccably crafted, and the toppings showcase a skillful combination of ingredients.

Great pizza, very popular, cramped and loud. We had to wait but it was worth it. Surprisingly fine panna cotta with caramel sauce and tiramisu.

The vegana verde was really good! Probably the best pizza I’ve had in a while, i ordered it without olive oil bc i dont like my pizzas too greasy, and it was perfect. Delicious pizza. However, reservation system does not communicate openly. Waited 40 minutes right in front of the door to see if a table was available, staff didn't communicate that you should have put yourself on a waiting list. Was rude when I asked nicely. A sign outside would make sense.

The hype is absolutely justified. If you are looking for an authentic pizza in the Bern region that stands out from the rest in terms of taste, then you have come to the right place at Pizzeria da Nino.🍕 However, there is a small point deduction for service. The staff is very friendly, but waiting times can be extremely long. Especially at peak times (lunch and evening), you may be faced with waiting times of up to 35+ minutes. Therefore - call in advance with your order. The pizzas are not delivered, but you can pick up your pizzas at a time of your choice. I also deduct a point for the ambience. Most of the time it is extremely full and you can hardly find a seat because the restaurant is too busy and can hardly offer any seats😅 All in all - an absolute recommendation from me and a must-go if you are from the area and/or nearby💪

The pizza is very good, but unfortunately everything is very tight. You also have to sign up for a waiting list... that's not a problem when the weather is good, but it is in winter. Take-away is also possible.

For 20CHF, you can eat a delicious pizza with a diameter of 30cm. The mozzarella cheese melts perfectly. It's a small shop so reservations are recommended.

First time pizza at da Nino. Definitely justified hype. The 40+ minute wait was worth it. Unfortunately you cannot reserve in advance. Pizzas were very tasty and came relatively quickly. Gladly again.

The doors of the Da Nino restaurant opened and I was greeted by the intoxicating smell of freshly baked pizza. I ordered a Margherita pizza, and when the first bite touched my lips, I found myself in another world. The dough was thin and crispy, the mozzarella melted temptingly, and the tomato sauce was full of flavor and passion. Time seemed to stand still. It was as if the pizza was telling me stories, of sun-drenched tomato fields and a long tradition of craftsmanship. At that moment I realized that "Da Nino" was not just a restaurant, but a place where the art of pizza making was celebrated. An ode to the taste and passion that went into every bite. A place that I would certainly visit again to immerse myself in this culinary dream world again.

Best pizza eaten in Switzerland 😍

So pizza is 10 out of 10. The dough is crispy thin, the ingredients are ultra fresh and selected with creativity. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. I've tried every pizza from da Nino and I really liked every one! I wasn't disappointed once, pizza comes on point and not like other pizzerias or delivery services, one time is good and the next time pizza is too watery or burnt. I've eaten a lot of pizzas everywhere, but this one is a masterpiece, it would even be worth moving to Bern for. I haven't had better pizza in Switzerland and not everywhere in Italy either, only in Tuscany was there a better one. Of course you wait about 50 minutes on a Friday evening in the summer, but it's worth it. The only real downside to da Nino is that they are available on weekends.

Best Vegan Pizza in Bärn. Da Nino is probably Bärn hypest and best pizzeria (in my humble opinion). It's like the Gelateria di Berna, but for pizza. They offer tree delicious vegan pizza for a really fair price (VEGANA 15.-: Tomato sauce, vegetables, fried capers, almonds, spinach, olive oil. VEGANA VERDE 16.-: Pea sauce, vegetables, artichoke cream, pistachios, spinach, olive oil. MARINARA 13.-: Tomato sauce, basil, confit garlic, fried capers ,olive oil). In summer the place is so popular that everyone orders take-away and eats their pizza in the neighbouring streets and square. Disclaimer there’s one downside : they don’t accept reusable pizza boxes (they reluctantly made an exception for us once).

Very trendy at the moment and the pizzas are good. However, I don't think the hype is necessarily justified. There are just as good or even better pizzerias in the surrounding area with less crowds and hype - but more ambience...

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday we easily got a table for 4 outside. Afterwards it quickly became full. Many people have also gathered on the other side of the street who have ordered ToGo. The taste was great, the pizza was rather lukewarm. We had Eigerplatz and Coppa Verde, both highly recommended. Good price!

One of the best pizzerias in Bern, unfortunately often fully booked in terms of seating, but the pizza window helps here. Depending on the day of the week, waiting times can be very long. Very good selection of pizzas and absolutely delicious.

Very good pizza. High quality ingredients, and very, very cheap. Good friendly service. Ambiance is very sporadic but I like that the focus is also on the food. Enough places to sit outside. If it's colder, I'd take take away. Classics that are interpreted in a modern way. Food 100/100 points

Following a recommendation, I ended up at Pizzeria da Nino and immediately felt at home there. Since all tables were full, I was put on a waiting list and was able to shorten the waiting time with a cool Birra Moretti. The service is very attentive and the food was really tasty. Absolutely clear recommendation!

A place particularly frequented and appreciated by the local but also foreign population. Variety of pizzas on the menu which also includes salads and little else as they are mostly concentrated on the pizzeria department. Young staff, quite quick and sufficiently affable. You can put yourself on the list for the outside at the moment. There is both beer and wine but the choice is very limited. Possibility of payment by card.

One of the best pizza in Bern but the staff is more and more unfriendly and stressed. The forget a lot as well. Last time we had beer and wine, then some pizzas and some more wine. While we were waiting we played a round of cards, also directly after the main dish We weren't even done drinking our wine when one of the waiters kicked us out rudely for blocking tables and "not consuming". I do understand that you guys want to sell as much as possible, capitalism, but at least have the decency to say it polite and let us finish our drinks. We were there often and we all liked it so far, but this one time, ruined it and so it was probably the last time. Sometimes there are awesome staff members as well, but rarely...

I was recommended the pizzeria by a hotel employee and the tip was worth its weight in gold. Staff was very friendly, I had to wait 10 minutes because all the seats were occupied, which was a good sign for me 😉. After waiting, I was immediately served by a nice waitress. Pizza came very quickly and was just awesome. I think it was the best or certainly one of the best pizzas I've had in Switzerland so far. Despite the full house, the employees didn't seem stressed to me. Gladly again, unfortunately not exactly close for me 😢

Nino has the best pizzas in Bern, 10/10 points! The second best would be just 7/10 points. Unfortunately closed on Saturdays. If there was a delivery service, I would only order here until I had 10kg more on my bones. In a sense, the Gelateria di Berna of pizzas. Keep it up!
