Very good Authentic indian food, the Quality of the food and are so good and fresh.

The staff, service and food are excellent. I only had chicken tikka masala a few times, but it's best I had @Zurich. The price is fair and the portions are big. Highly recommended!

Very good food on a manageable buffet at a fair price. The staff is attentive and very friendly, but they don't speak German, only English. Spacious, subtly decorated and simple interior.

Best Indian / Pakistani Halal food in Zürich.

On Sunday at 13:00, it was very quiet and we experience slow service. Food was excellent.

Surprised by how decent their food is. Came here for an event, they were able to accommodate a BIG group. All HALAL!

I ordered the food from just-eat. NEVER ordered such good Indian food. The chicken in Butterchicken was flambéed over the fire and everything was incredibly well seasoned. I would order again and again.

I have recently visited this place. I can proudly say that this was one of the best Indian food i ever had. The food was so authentically fresh and boosted my appetite. The team at this restaurant is so amazing especially the cook Manpreet, who has magic in his hands to make the dishes exceptionally good. Thank you Manpreet for making this dinner visit memorable. I will definitely recommend this place and will come back.

Only English speaking staff today service was poor

I waited almost 2 hours for my food, even though the promised arrival time was 45 - 1 hour. I specifically asked if it was possible to pay with lunch check, which I was then assured of. On the phone the man assured me that everything was fine, 40 minutes later they called back to tell me that the order should cost NOT just 45.- but 80.-. (I would have paid CHF 52 in the end), but after waiting 2 hours I couldn't even pay for the late meal because you can't pay with a lunch check? En wasted abig…

Food is not that great. The chicken they served was a bit raw. It was chewy as well. The gravy of this chicken dish was good though. Starters were also undercooked. Also, the service is really slow. For serving a cup of tea, it took them around 40 minutes. Was craving for some Indian food in Zurich and found this restaurant. However was really disappointed.

It was a delightful dinner experience at this restaurant for us and I’d recommend them as a must visit for anyone who likes Indian food and also for anyone who is missing Indian hospitality 😊 Being in Europe for more than a decade, I can say, its very rare witnessing such kind of hospitality in Europe.. Being in this restaurant today made me feel at home. Excellent food and great service. You can say the staff really put their hearts into their work and on to our plates 💕 They go an extra mile to make your dining there better which made the whole experience extra sweet 💖 A heartfelt Thank you to @Darbar. We will definitely visit again!

Really good food and excellent service from Ali Basharat 😊 Service was quick and helpful. The murgh shalimar, biryani, vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, naan, and kulfi were all excellent. A little piece of home in Zurich, very comforting!

Delivery man can't drive!!! Drives in front of my lane so I had to slam on the brakes! I didn't order a menu and won't be ordering any food.

Good day we ate chicken tikka masala and naan bread in this restaurant. All in all, the dishes weren't particularly good. The naan bread didn't taste like it had been baked in a tandoori oven. It was so perfectly circular that it was most likely made in the pan. The chicken tikka masala was not good at all. The meat should usually be very soft and taste marinated. The meat was probably quickly thrown into the sauce afterwards, which meant that the meat didn't taste like anything and became relatively dry/tough. For this reason I cannot recommend the restaurant as there are much better Indian restaurants in Zurich.

We like to go to this restaurant for lunch. The selection at the buffet is always quite good and all the dishes taste very good. Ali's service was courteous and nice. Will definitely come back!

I would prefer to give 0 stars. We wanted to go out to eat at Darban Indian Cuisine on a weekday evening around 8 p.m. We asked the waiter if they still had room for two people and even though the restaurant was only about 1/4 full we got the very rude answer: we could sit down, but the meal would just take a long time today. Okay we weren't in a hurry so let's sit down. After 45 minutes we still hadn't been able to order, neither food nor drinks. Then we left again (hungry). Unfortunately, this didn't seem to be an isolated incident that evening - the couple at the next table waited another 30 minutes for drinks after ordering and when we left the restaurant after 45 minutes they hadn't received their food yet. I understand if cooking takes longer, especially if the restaurant also offers take away. But the service was abysmal and I certainly won't come back.

Has a great Indian buffet at a fair takeaway price over lunch on weekdays. The food is quite good, only the naan varies a bit in quality. I would be even more convinced if the chicken were raised in Switzerland and not from abroad, even if that would mean the price was slightly higher.

Dinner Buffet for 30 Chf with good selection. I wish they would add the mango lassie to thr buffet.

Best biryani in Zurich. It’s all Halal. Recommend next time visit them or you can order from them by Uber eat app. Very easy and excellent service. Well done! Salute 🫡 to biryani!

Rice unsalted, butter chicken not seasoned enough, cheese naan only has cheese on top. A pity. I've had it much better with other Indians.

We decided to go for lunch here because the pictures on their website looks inviting. Unfortunately as an Indian food lover, my expectation was not met here. Pros: Good environment with oriental decoration and chill music. Spice and sauce are great. Cons: 1. Waiters are not attentive. We arrived before 1pm when the whole restaurant was empty but for one table. I don’t know what the waiters are busy with but we couldn’t get attention at all when attempting to order the meal several times. (Instead of shouting at waiter, normally I prefer eye contact) I also had to get up from my seat and run to the kitchen to see if any waiters are there when attempting to pay the bill because I couldn’t find any available at the moment and they don’t really pay attention to your needs constantly enough. But I might be biased because I’m not the super patient type. 2. The food they tout on their official website is not what they offer, which is unacceptable to me and why the 1 star. I was attracted initially by a picture showing a plate of some meat (that looks like chicken), mushroom, spinach and rice in yellow. The waiter told me what it is so I ordered the thing from the menu. What I got turned out very different from the picture. A bowl of plain white rice and a bowl of lamb with sauce that looks different in color and texture from the picture, that’s all. So I really doubt if it’s the same dish. There are also other dishes on their website that look amazing but the waiter told me they are even not on the menu. I feel deceived and not happy, obviously. 3. Waiters don’t speak English very well. Communication might go south if you don’t speak German, unfortunately. They seem nice guys though when they finally start to notice that you have an order to make.

Restaurant is in good and accessible location by public transport. Very clean and tidy. Ambiance is good. Did not feel so authentic indian as an indian. Expensive as is in swiss.

Visited Zurich. This restaurant was also there. It makes you happy to be back in Berlin.

The location is easily accessible by public transport, directly below Kreuzplatz. Unfortunately the friendly service only spoke English. The food from the buffet is standard Indian dishes. Good and inexpensive. For my companion there was a fast breaker drink and dates. Nice gesture.

Delicious Indian buffet (vegi, fish, chicken, lamb) on Friday. Fresh naan bread. Very inexpensive for Zurich. You pay for drinks separately. Service is friendly and explains the buffet to all guests.

This restaurant was discovered by coincidence and has been a great experience with my family. Very good food, good quantities, reasonable price and pretty nice waiver, I recommend it. Don't miss the butter chicken and the lamb!

They were late in the delivery. The food was watery and had no taste.

Found it by coincidence but it clearly didn’t disappoint. Although comparatively this was costly than the other restaurants we have visited. I want to mention that they had an event planned for 90 folks still they took us at the last hour and treated us with really courteous behaviour.

Such a bad restaurant treating people on the basis of what they order. Cheap mindset. They basically judge us because we ordered only biryani, we’ll order whatever we want, their job is to serve us and not judge. Is this our Indian culture? When we asked for water, he asked us are you going to pay for it or not? Seriously this is how you welcome your guest. Disgusting experience. Please don’t visit this hotel if are a tourist. One of our favourite Indian restaurants in town, kind service, clean, no smells and lovely dishes. Normally we have a lunch break here, there's a buffet with 8-10 various dishes which are also available for take-away. It's located inside an office building, next to Kreuzplatz, but the entrances are from the side streets.

Lovely warm welcome and great tasty food!

Not a good experience overall. Apart from the chicken dish, the rest was barely ok. The pakora was oily and did not seem fresh. The chicken was not what we ordered but taste wise it was ok. For the Chai tea, my husband and I had a great laugh as it came in a tea cup and it was barely half full and we have tasted much better chai tea. As the food was not good, when it comes to tipping we only added 5% . And that seems to annoy the waiter.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The delivery to our house was 40 minutes late (with no apology), the food was no longer hot, the naan was very soft, and the paneer was artificially orange and therefore didn't taste that great.

Dear team, the food is very tasty, large portions, fast delivery. But I was disappointed to see so much plastic packaging in 2022, which is probably not even BPA free. So much plastic waste. Please please replace this plastic asap. Then you are 5*. Thanks
