The food is very good, the service is also very good and it is pleasant inside the restaurant. I always enjoy going there.

So, I recently went to the Trattoria della Nonna in Lucerne and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. First of all I have to note that I didn't see any Nonna in the restaurant - only in name. The ambience was a bit bland and I lacked passion for good food. The staff seemed very cold towards each other. Unfortunately, my penne alla vodka turned out to be simple penne with an unseasoned cream sauce. Maybe the chef drank the vodka himself and forgot to include it in my meal. When I politely pointed out that I didn't like it, I only got an indifferent "OK" in response. There seemed to be zero interest in pleasing the guest. When I asked for the bill I didn't receive a thank you or anything like that. The only positive thing I can point out is that the cola was served in a glass bottle. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my lunch. That's why I'm only giving it two stars, although one is just for the cola in the glass.

We love this charming restaurant with great authentic Italian food ( delicious gluten free pizza , pasta and tiramisu' etc..included). Many thanks to Rolf, the owner, and to his staff for always providing us with beautiful lunches and dinners in a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere!

Saturday evening at 7 p.m. we waited 1 hour for the pizza (the rest was not full), which unfortunately wasn't tasty. Dough without taste, dry, hard, canned tomatoes (no sauce). The cheese was rubbery - a shame. We skipped dessert.

The absolute best glutenfree - lactose free food I've ever had. They have flammkuchen aswell, something I gave up on ever tasting again. I highly recommend! Kid friendly too. We brought our 1 year old, they had things to play with and loved seeing her there. The prices are also very very reasonable (I'm not swiss) They do charge a bit extra for the Glutenfree and lactosefree option, but that's fair. We both had a starter, main and a dessert + a drink and paid 100francs Go for it, it's worth it!

Horrific health standards- our waiter was coughing and wiping his nose throughout our whole dinner and made no attempt to cover his mouth. A shocking disregard for our health and the health of the other customers. The food was well below average and lacked any flavor. We were lucky to escape without catching whatever the waiter had.

We were a larger group of 18 people. We hadn't pre-ordered any menus and had chosen quite wildly from the menu, so the waiting times were absolutely understandable and no deductions were made. The food was impeccable and prepared with love. At the end I had the opportunity to talk to Dina and Rolf over a white wine. Thoroughly a great experience and highly recommended. No spray, no party

I reserved a table outside a week ago. The waiter wanted to give us a table inside. We were then allowed out to a table that had not been prepared. Then we ordered a glass of Prosecco to toast my birthday. The waiter came with 2 warm glasses and ice cubes with the comment that the cooling had failed! I don't have to accept it! We paid and went to another restaurant! It's a shame when you can't deal with guests and the waiter wasn't very well looked after either.

Pizzas from everyone today were overcrowded and served soggy. Way too short in the oven. Salad was soaked with ready-made sauce. Waiters serve the food with a constant cough and sprinkle herbs over the pizza without washing their hands. However, was very friendly. Waiter should have either gone to bed or worn a mask...

I've eaten at this restaurant several times. The food is very tasty and also well priced. However, there has been a new employee there (male and dark hair), he is very unfriendly to us and this has happened several times. E.g. we went in and instead of asking us if we wanted to eat here or take away, he just looked at us and said "what?" or I ordered pizza and he brought me an uncut pizza then I asked him if I could get it sliced ​​and then he rolled his eyes and took my pizza away. You can see that every time he doesn't feel like serving us. I really enjoy eating there but since he started working there I don't feel comfortable or welcome there.

Was there for dinner with my wife today. Since my wife unfortunately had a severe inflammation of the stomach lining and could no longer tolerate lactose, we looked for this Italian. The restaurant seems to thrive on the fact that there are no other restaurants in the area... if you're reading this, then you're in the area because of the Kantonsspital anyway, so you'd better go to the canteen at the Kantonsspptial ("Feingut" in the U1 ) eat. Some very generous portions, such as the antipasti selection or the salad plate. The pasta and the service were rather bland.

I usually get a stomach ache after eating some gluten free foods, but the pizza setteled incredibly well with me! I highly reccomend. Only 4 stars because my drinking glass had some oil floating in it that they quickly replaced.

The Italian food is very tasty and you get enough. The prices are a bit high but still within reason. With this name, the atmosphere in the restaurant could be a little more “Bella Italia”. They have everything to do with celiac disease (gluten-free) well under control. From the roll to the starter, pasta and pizza to dessert, almost everything is gluten-free! Dear Trattoria della nonna The hospitality and the speed have extremely lost quality. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The quality was great as usual. Will no longer consider Della Nonna and will no longer make any recommendations. It's a shame actually.

Service very unmotivated. Gluten-free tarte flambée had a VERY thin base - so thin that it was unfortunately too dry. Unfortunately, there are no homemade waffles for dessert.

Wanted to have dinner there on Saturday evening. There were 3 of us. When we came in, the lady said she had to clear the table for a moment and then we could sit down. So we waited at the entrance. The lady then said we can sit down. We waited 5-7 minutes, nothing happened. The lady ignored us, didn't clear up, didn't give us a menu... She cleared other tables, brought food etc. then she brought us the menu, but still didn't clear away. We then got in touch and asked if she could clear up... she didn't apologize and said she didn't have time... ?????? So we got up and left. What is that supposed to mean?? What kind of service is this???? (Young lady with red hair). She shouldn't work in service, it's really outrageous!!!! Never experienced it before. It's a shame, because the first time we received friendly service and the food tasted good too!

It was very nice to be able to delve into a menu without having to think about what you can eat with a gluten allergy. Pizza, pasta, tarte flambée, even tiramisu can be made GF upon request. You can tell that GF lives in this restaurant. Highly recommended even for non-allergy sufferers.

It was very good and would be recommended

My husband and I had to do something in Lucerne and were happy to be able to eat something warm at around 1:30 p.m. We ordered pizzas and were very disappointed! The edge of the pizza was already very dry, we both didn't find the cheese (mozzarella) on the pizza very tasty and since we both "like" mascarpone, we chose a pizza with mascarpone on it. The mascarpone was probably already expired, it tasted very sour and looked that way too. The price of the pizza was absolutely amazing for us. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this pizzeria. Price and performance are not acceptable. But the service was very nice and accommodating.

The Della Nonna is recommended for home-style dishes with an Italian touch. The preparation is good in terms of quality and quantity and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Plus: the restaurant is also open on public holidays.
