My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer delicious meat-free options, and Edi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations. I eat at least once a week at Edi's or bring home pizzas. The best and especially the friendliest pizzaiolo in town! He makes his food fresh every day. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. I recommend one hundred percent!

Fast smiling gentleman, excellent pizza and spaghetti, small but cozy and good Italian beer. Definitely recommend!

Inexpensive pizzeria, Pizza Prosciutto was super tasty and served quickly. At the end there was a coffee on the house👌 Very simple restaurant, I Like It.

I ordered a salami pizza to take away. Was given a friendly welcome, the pizza was super tasty and the price was absolutely right. I go there more often now. Recommended!

Edi awaits you personally with a freshly prepared selection of pizza, pasta, salad and the burgers are also recommended. He adapts everything to your wishes and makes these fine rolls from pizza dough again and again. He now makes ice cream. 😋

To say that the food is spectacular and prepared at the moment and the service is a 10, during our stay in Zurich we went 3 times to pick up food and in all of them the staff had the detail of offering everything from salami to free chocolate for our daughters while we waited the food, without a doubt a great detail..... If you have the opportunity to go, don't think about it, it's a great success.... Thank you for everything!!!

This pizzeria is recommended. We were served friendly. In addition, the food (Pizza Funghi and Spaghetti Bolognese) was very tasty. Gladly again!

I had the Bella Italia pizza, it was extremely tasty, good cheese and a thin, crunchy base. The pizza also deserves 6 stars. The ice cream was a bit watery and tasted ok. The owner was very nice.

It was really delicious and my uncle was the best! While I was waiting, he gave me a lot of small chocolates, and even though I had made the pizza bigger, he gave me a large serving for the young man!

We had dinner 2 nights in a row. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 We had pizza the first night and one of the best pizzas we have had and the second night we had pasta and we both really enjoyed how fresh and amazing it was. The chef/owner was so nice and welcoming, could not ask for better service Thank you for everything 😊

The food is just wonderful. I had the best and largest calzone I have ever eaten. The service is super nice and you just feel at home. We were there on two evenings of each other. In addition to Italian pizza, there is also Italian beer.

Pizza restaurant with many options and also a few pasta dishes and salads. The place is small but cozy, and the owner is super nice and friendly. They also have a few tables outside. Pizzas are home made in an oven you can see, as well as the ingredients, and they are made quite fast. Thin crust, tasty, and in two sizes. They are not superb but quite good. All things considered, I felt it was a bit pricey. Still a good option for a quick bite and cheaper and tastier than most places around. Go Edi :)

Excellent restaurant, we liked the tuna pizza and the very generous Ceasar salad. Thanks to the pizza maker who is an excellent cook and very friendly. I highly recommend this Restaurant. In addition to being very clean and well located, the restaurant is very pretty. Dinner on Saturday 11-02 as a couple.

Edi is super friendly, personable and cooks so well. He even makes spaghetti carbonara without pork and it's insanely delicious. His pizzas are wonderful too. He does everything himself, even the pasta is homemade.

The food is excellent. The salad is always prepared with fresh vegetables. A free coffee is often included. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Nothing to complain about.

The owner of the restaurant was a kind and generous man, the quality of the pizzas was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Looks like the old man does everything by himself. He doesn't speak English, but he is so happy and friendly. He volunteered to let our boy help make pizza over language barriers with great patience. What a pleasant experience! Gave us extra toppings. Coming from America where grumpy waiters do almost nothing and think 18% tip is too little, this place is beyond lovely. We visited twice. Best pizza we had in a long time.

If only i could give more than 5 stars! The chef was extremely patient as we did not speak italian/german. He asked a few of his loyal customers, who were also kind enough, to help translate our exchanges. We ended up ordering the DIY pizza, which was really really good (plus great value for money!), and an Edi's burger, which was also very interesting — the patty had a crispy crust! To be frank, we did not enjoy most of the dining experiences we have had with other restaurants because many of the staff were rude to us. But here at Edi's, we really felt welcomed! Mr. Edi (i assume the chef is Edi 😅) was kind to us and even offered to add more toppings (rucola, my favourite) on our pizza. Great pizza, crispy crust, fresh toppings ♥️ Definitly coming back to Edi's if we visit zurich again!

Would give this a 10 star if I could! The pizza is amazing & so is the burger and also very reasonably priced! Everything is handmade from scratch and Edi (I assume) was very nice and hospitable! Manage expectations on the diner, it is small and comfy. Would recommend anyone who is in Zurich to drop by for a meal!

Nice pizza bar. Sat there with my girlfriend for a long time as it was so pleasant to sit and chat. Pizzas were super delicious, we'll definitely be back. The boss was very pleasantly reserved, apologized that he wanted to let us talk and didn't want to disturb us. Very pleasant, if we had wanted anything else he would have brought it to us.

Super friendly service, excellent thin crust pizza with great sauce to cheese ratio! The regular size pizza was already pretty big for one person and overall it was decent value for money for Zurich. It’s a very casual spot although there is some indoor (during non-covid times) and outdoor seating, but it’s also only a few minutes from the Limmat so we did takeaway. (I had the margherita 🍕)
