Fleur de Pains in Epalinges

Butter croissants - or any other pastry - very dry. Gives the impression that it would be dry pieces (that's true!) from the day before... I would like to point out that it is recurring and not just once (which can happen, I conceive). So I no longer have a croissant with my coffee in the morning. Too bad 😞

Excellent focaccia, vegetable tarts and tarts for dessert. On the other hand, the bread is often not very fresh even in the morning...

You have to order yourself inside because the waiters only come to take orders once in 10 despite the fact that we are sometimes the only customers on the terrace. The tables are almost never cleared and dirty. As I write this comment, my table is full of crumbs and with a leftover character left by the previous customer. The manager should put his teams back in place because the customer service is pitiful.

We insist by saying that we did not know this because the seller at the time of ordering did not say so. In response, the saleswoman (he hid) replied that now we know so we should have said it before (crazy answer)!! Well, it was our fault, and it cost us 20.- extra. It's called theft. It was worth the price I paid, not the advertised price. My son-in-law went to the second bakery in the center of Epalinges recently and the same. Few products and it must have been several days old... Too bad. It makes you want to go elsewhere... And there are more and more places on the app.

Back at the fleur de pain, the saleswoman maintains that the products are fresh.... She finally recognizes that the quality leaves something to be desired when other customers become interested in the scene. It is unacceptable to offer products of this quality for sale.
