An unforgettable culinary experience at Forbici located in Flon! I couldn't wait to discover this place and I must say it was definitely worth going. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the whole team, I would like to point out, is attentive and incredibly friendly. From the smile upon our arrival until our departure, the service was impeccable. We tasted three different dishes: a pizza (capricciosa with very gorumand artichokes and quality bresaola), lobster ravioli (a real explosion of flavors!) and chicken with vegetables with basil pesto, simply delicious . And let's not talk about desserts! We followed the advice of the host to choose the dessert of the month, and we were not disappointed. The classic tiramisu and affogato were also to die for. If you are a lover of Italian coffee, don't miss the opportunity to taste one here. In summary, a gastronomic experience not to be missed. We are already planning our next visit!

Very good, original dishes, very fast service (even a little too fast). Too bad the room is also a little too noisy but otherwise for a good fast restaurant it's effective 🤩 we'll come back to try the other dishes.

The server had a kindness that is extremely rare these days. We were able to stay talking late, without being kicked out for the second course like in some restaurants. It's very pleasant, you feel good there. It wasn't the first time, will definitely come back again.

As an Italian, I'm not easy on pizza and this was superb! The service is fast, even Saturday lunchtime. I advise.

It was a good experience in this Italian place. Food qty is really high. We had pizza and Pasta and we were not able to finish 50 % and the prices are on higher side. It’s very near to the central station with 2 min walk from station. Very limited Vegan and Vegetarian options.

Crowded, not at all calm as a place, no vegetarian pizza apart from the vegetarian one and much too rushed service. The guy left in the middle of the order because he was annoyed by my request for meatless pizza. The pizzas are good but the place is too scary.

Food good but this time was rushed through the courses and waiters just hovering to take away stuff even when we hadnt all finished. Must have been there just over an hour for main course, dessert and coffee. Left to go have a leisurely drink elsewhere to round off the evening.

great location, cozy, very central right next to the Lausanne Flon metro station. Service was great despite the restaurant being full. We were there with a 4 year old and twin babies with twin strollers and were warmly welcomed despite the stress for the staff. There are steps to the dining area, which is why that didn't work for us and we were able to sit downstairs in the lounge. it was perfect. Gnocchi was great, pizza was very tasty and children's pasta too. successful evening. can recommend it.

Chic industrial decor, Italian waiters and super friendly people. When we order a pizza they also bring us scissors to cut it. Everything is explained on the placemat (there is even a QR code for a cutting demo). The pizza has a thick crust at the edges and thin in the center, it is tender and crispy as I like. They are not stingy with the garnish. More than a restaurant, it's an original concept, I absolutely recommend it!

We regularly come to eat pizza at your place. Did you make a change to your recipe?? We have the impression that something has changed...the pizza was certainly not bad but before it was EXCELLENT!! So, my opinion "the best pizza in the region" needs to be reviewed... Otherwise, impeccable service and staff!!!!

Unfortunately we weren't able to taste the pizzas, that's what we came for, the oven was broken, that can happen! Too bad because no one warned us except when taking the order! so we settled on the dish of the day for a guest and a tagliata di manzo... the dishes arrive and it's a fillet of beef which is served instead of the dish ordered.... the waiter tells us that is the same thing... but the price is not the same... so it is the beef fillet that we are charged for (CHF 8.- difference)... perhaps it could have been offer espresso.... not sure we'll come back!

Big problem with the waiter who collected "tips" while our friends (who left to take the last boat) paid more than their share which, normally, had to be deducted from the rest of the bill and we paid our share plus a tip . As a result, he gave himself a tip of almost 60 francs! Despite our protests, he didn't want to know anything. We won't go back there again!!!! Too bad, because the food was good, nice atmosphere but totally overshadowed by its dishonesty!

Gorgeous ! The restaurant is located in the Flon district (a very busy area of ​​Lausanne). The restaurant does not have a parking space, but there are public parking spaces within a 2-minute walk (also accessible by public transport). Forbici is a quiet, pretty restaurant, but also very welcoming. The staff is very well trained and always attentive. We let ourselves be tempted by the Hamburger and the Tagliata Di Manzo. The meat was cooked perfectly and the proportions were generous. Apparently the pizzas are also amazing. Maybe for next time.

A nice restaurant with a choice of menu and very tasty dishes. Very fast service which is great. Unfortunately I felt cramped and had the impression of eating with the next table. The waiter spoke very quickly and with a fairly pronounced accent and in addition to the noise around, it was difficult to make himself understood. Just details, but a good restaurant that I recommend.

Very disappointed... me who loves Italian restaurants. Vegetarian pizza with not at all fresh ingredients. A “portion of fries” with 5 fries I don’t call that a portion, anyway. The waiters, don't be afraid to talk with the customers and above all smile, we don't eat the waiters.

Kitchen ok, but nothing exceptional. We can certainly do better! The service is a little slow, some servers are pleasant but others are lousy. I asked for a table for 2 and they put me in the corner of a table for 8, so potentially with other people. When I asked for a table again as specified during the reservation, the waiter replied curtly that he had to check with his manager but never came back to me. I had to ask another colleague who finally found us a table. Very noisy restaurant.

We came as a family and we were very poorly received in this restaurant. The waiter was cold and very unpleasant, he even raised his eyebrows when my brother only had a 5chf coke rather than a 17chf cocktail! Excessive prices compared to the quality of the products. And they even gave me a pair of DIRTY scissors to cut my pizza. In short, I was really very disappointed with this experience, I will not come back.

A good Italian restaurant in the heart of Lausanne. We didn't get it right with the starter since the mozzarella was of low quality. Followed, and then we ordered pizzas, one of them spectacular, with mortadella, pistachio and Burratta.

Their pizzas are incredible! On the other hand, the lobster pasta is not up to par. I strongly advise against it. Good atmosphere to then go out with friends in the Flon district!
