Very good experience, the service is lovely and attentive even if the wait was a little long. The dishes we had are very good but the bread for the toast/croque madame deserves to be a little more toasted for the crispiness. We just didn't like the coffee which really wasn't "good" according to our personal tastes. The teas, on the other hand, are of quality. The constant smell of cigarettes on the terrace is not pleasant but unfortunately, the restaurant can't do much about it... A few small points of improvement but overall we liked the experience and we will definitely come back!

+ The setting of this restaurant is very nice and good atmosphere. + The staff are friendly and helpful. - The dishes we had were good. The poached eggs could be improved. The pancakes were fluffy and simple, you can taste a lot of egg.

We discovered this cafe by chance. The homemade cold tea was very good! On the other hand, the matcha had a milky taste, without the green color. We couldn't taste the taste. It was not a real matcha and especially for a price of 6chf and some… The fries with chedar cheese were good but 13chf is too expensive. The avocado toasts, it's a shame, the bread was a classic white bread (you need at least a wholemeal or cereal bread) and no seasoning... 23chf for a simple slice of bread with avocado, salmon... Unfortunately I do not recommend this coffee in terms of taste and value for money. The prices are way too high and the reception was really poor.

A very happy discovery for our twenty-third Valentine’s Day! We succumbed to the offerings of the “special” menu (which was not imposed, well done!), the espuma mushroom-parmesan amuse-bouche, followed by lemon-style scallops in velouté and cabbage pickles. flower, then a very cute veal in coffee velvet and its tatinted carrot, to finally settle gently in the crispy chocolate, as is reasonable on the sugar side, glazed with milk flower! As for the glasses, a prosecco which is an easy match for some champagnes which show off a little too much, then a Malbec-Pinot Noir blend (if I remember correctly...) of the best quality and, on the eloquent advice of the owner , a glass of negrino to wake you up at night, whenever possible, with dessert. As for the coffee, pure nectar! Without forgetting the warm welcoming smiles. Honestly, what are you waiting for to go there?

Honestly the food is great. A good brunch just the way we like it. We were served super quickly. Even without a reservation, we were able to find a table, and the servers were lovely. Only problem, as it is good, and it is Sunday, there were a lot of people, so also a lot of noise. But hey, all the good brunches in Lausanne are full on Sundays.

Terrible service, food without salt and fish without lemon, if you go in a group individual payments are not accepted, the lady's response was that there were too many of us and she couldn't do it , horrible table service, horrible and super expensive food, advice don't go there, you will be disappointed with everything

In a subdued atmosphere, the flavors of black tea envelop our senses. The fire of a gaze illuminates our table and reveals the contours of an angelic face. The orange shimmers of the nonchalant lamps cover the surfaces with copper velvet. The space is vast, open to this unique room. And yet, each discussion seems to inhabit its immaterial alcove of complicity and laughter... These timeless moments were offered to us and will live in our hearts for eternity.

Price a little high I think, but very good food.

Quite expensive dishes for what they are. We were a table of 4 with all the same dish, pistachio mascarpone pasta, it took a very long time to arrive even though we arrived early so few tables, lack of flavors and cold pasta because of the mascarpone. And be careful it’s cold (draught) This was my 2nd time at this restaurant, I also had an average experience the 1st time.

Very nice place but unfortunately not up to our expectations: - Everything costs 1-3 CHF more than in the city center. - Service not very welcoming and very pushy so that we left the table for people who arrived 15 minutes later. Very stressful. -Toast not toasted at all and when they ask us for our opinion they almost contradict us (but it's up to you to judge from the photo). - Still lack of experience or organization because they served us sweet and savory food at the same time. When we finished the toast, the pancakes were already cold. I hope they will improve because they really have great potential 🤞🏼

Nice and quality place in general but big disappointment today. Wrong appetizers with 20 minute wait. Dish of the day at 29.- => trout drowned in butter with enough bones to decimate a population, mashed potatoes with olives mixed with leftover fish (bones found inside 🫥), portions of spinach the size of a golf ball. All this served with an endless wait and a bill without any commercial gesture. In short, to avoid!

Pleasant experience: delicious food, great desserts, and friendly service. However, the wait times were long and the smell of cigarettes was annoying. Prices are high compared to the portions. I hope these aspects can be improved.

This coffee is awesome!! The musical atmosphere makes the place warm, the waiters/waitresses are pleasant and smiling, you can see that they love their work. Plus, the dishes are delicious! Cafe with very nice decor, but the waitress is upset and the music is way too loud! I've been there several times to work, but from 8:30 in the morning, it's loud music and therefore impossible to stay there for a while to work or read a book. It seems like they don't want people to stay. Damage !

The menu offers a chicken salad with mango and soft-boiled egg, I’m still looking…. We offer a hard-boiled egg cut into 4!!! In short, I don't recommend it for dining.

I've been going there for about 3 years. It's a fabulous discovery. The dishes are delicious, I have never been disappointed. The quality/price ratio is more than correct! You need excellent daily menus. The service is also very friendly. The people are smiling. The atmosphere is cozy, very nicely decorated. We feel very, very good there! I recommend +++

Very good brunch spot, a little out of the way, therefore more calm/intimate than other popular spots in Lausanne. I particularly liked their candy coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Fairly generous dishes and good value for money. Little extra for decoration; we feel good there.

I went to Café de Prélaz on a Sunday to taste their famous brunch which I had heard a lot about. The setting was warm and the staff were smiling, the food lived up to my expectations. The toasts were very good and plentiful, as were the pancakes which were original and different from what we are used to eating. I will return with great pleasure. I recommend 100%.

The avocado toast is exceptional, the Philadelphia lemon mousse adds a big plus in terms of taste. The staff is kind and smiling. I recommend this place for a good brunch.

Great service, friendly staff, this restaurant has been greatly refreshed, nice atmosphere and little terrasse. And the cuisine is now very good. Oriental touch on the dishes, fun vegetarian options and very correct prices. The burger is verrry good. Also the cocktails are well made and the prices affordable. I come back regularly for coffee and/or food. Morning music playlist is.. just what it should be. No Norah Jones singing Christmas. Very good. Highly recommended.

We were unfortunately disappointed with the brunch. The pancakes were soaked in maple syrup, the pain au chocolat didn't seem fresh, the smoothie wasn't great and the menu isn't flexible at all. Impossible to order eggs on the side, for brunch, it’s a shame.

The place is really very pretty and well decorated. Make a reservation if you want to go to brunch because there are a lot of people. I do not recommend it to families with young children (with a stroller) because there is very little space between the tables inside. Regarding the food, we may not have made the best choice (pancakes & Korean spicy chicken) so take my opinion with a grain of salt; It was very expensive for really very small portions. And nothing extraordinary that justifies the price. But once again, we may not have made the right choice. Otherwise the service was super pleasant and the team is super friendly 👌

21CHF and 45 minutes of waiting for a "toast" (here meaning a slice of bread with a little salmon and avocado served without any side dish or salad), it's meh. And the 3CHF carafe of water is always a little pleasant when you've already had 2 drinks each.

Often traveling to Lausanne, I find this establishment excellent. It offers lots of varieties of dishes, meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan, which are a treat every time. I also had the opportunity to eat during brunch and the dishes were original and high quality! The place is tastefully furnished, which is hard to find in Lausanne. Finally, the staff is really friendly, courteous and they make me feel at home. Well done!
