Great Italian menu that offers more than the normal classics. The portions are large and the service is super friendly. Prices are fair and you get very fine wine for a top price.

Great restaurant which I would highly reccomend. Has the italian classics as well as some unique house specials that were a delight to try. Wonderful service, will definitely return.

The finest, tender and perfectly prepared Chateaubriand (ordered in advance, not on the menu!) was enjoyed in two rounds with the best vegetables, Béarnaise sauce and a side dish of your choice for a group of 10 people, which was flambéed and served at the table by the chef himself. An absolute feast for the eyes and palate - until next time 🤩

Fantastic experience! The Ravioli alla Crema di Tartufo was delicious and perfectly balanced with truffle flavor. The homemade tiramisu was a dream ending. Definitely a 5 star review!

Highly recommended, we ate here three times during our stay on Lake Zurich! The food was very good and the portions meant no one would go home hungry, but the service was also exemplary! Gladly again and see you next time!

The portions were generous and the food was freshly prepared. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and inviting. I would recommend Gallo Nero to anyone who wants to enjoy a great Italian meal!

I had the pleasure of having dinner at Gallo Nero and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely fantastic - a treat for the taste buds. I ordered the veal schnitzel as a main course and it was so tender and juicy, it literally melted in your mouth. The side dish, Risotto Parmigiano, was perfectly matched to the main course and rounded off the dish perfectly. The service was excellent, very attentive and helpful. They gave us valuable tips when choosing food and made sure that we felt comfortable throughout the evening. The ambience of the restaurant was simply beautiful, the decor was stylish and elegant and the lighting was perfect to create a relaxed atmosphere. The noise level was pleasantly low, which made it easy to have a conversation without raising your voice. In summary, I can say that it was a really successful evening and I will definitely come back. I recommend Gallo Nero to anyone who wants to spend a special evening, be it a romantic meal for two or a special occasion with friends and family.

We were a group of ten people. Everyone was fully serviced and the staff responded well to special requests. For starters we had fresh, homemade bruschetti followed by a platter of three different pastas. All of them were great, but the truffle tagliatelle was my absolute favorite. For the main course I had veal liver. A real culinary delight! All the food on the table looked delicious!! For dessert there was a walnut parfait and a panna cotta. Everything homemade. I can recommend this culinary journey to everyone. It's worth a visit!
