Everything was great! Four of us came here after a walk with 3 dogs. Only on the terrace with a view and sunshine for an aperitif (flambée and aperol spritz). Afterwards we went inside to eat. Everything was really tasty and the waiter was very attentive, polite and funny. Would love to come back. Thank you

Good excursion destination for the whole family, very friendly staff, well-kept rooms,! ALSO toilet! Well-stocked food looking for desserts, enough parking spaces, access slightly spoils the general impression, entrance door 1 step, then up or down steps, dangerous access for frail people / or people who can't see well in my opinion... otherwise great! Gladly again...

Today we spontaneously went for coffee and cake. Very good apple pie, nothing to complain about. But what really surprised me was that we wanted to reserve a table for February 14, 2024 and the waitress gave us a business card and asked us to write an email to reserve a table. Are you doing very well? It's a shame, we'll probably go somewhere else for Valentine's Day. Thank you.

The weekend brunch offers a rich buffet with something for every taste. Thanks to the spacious indoor playground, the little ones get their money's worth and the parents can enjoy their coffee in peace.

Great place, the staff very friendly. We were able to drop by for two without a reservation with just a little advance notice, which I appreciate if you're flexible.

We were very positively surprised by the overall experience at Geerlisburg. The Sunday brunch was excellent- good choices and quality at a reasonable price. The overall ambiance is lovely. The children play area was way beyond our expectations! We already booked a table for another visit.

Been here for the first time in six years. The drinks sounded very tempting, but unfortunately they were a bit watery.

wonderful view. lounge are rather uncomfortable. friendly cat sleeping next to us. ginger spritz drink just sweet. without sugar with pressed ginger juice from the farm shop would be the best. Service has room for improvement.

The garden makes a beautiful impression. But it hardly has a playground for children, which used to be great. But we'll be back

Close to the airport but completely rural and quiet. Wonderfully shady garden restaurant with attentive and quick service. My favorites: the great sausage/cheese salad and the cordon bleu with French fries.

Great location with a cozy garden under the trees. Very child-friendly with outdoor and indoor playground. Delicious food and super friendly staff. Also very suitable for weddings and other events. It has a great space with A1 view for ceremonies. I can only recommend Geerlisburg.

Bad service, bad food. I wasn't allowed to sit on the terrace with my wife. The reason for this; too many reservations. That was just an excuse. There were enough empty tables for the next 2 hours. My wife and I were alone in the empty restaurant while everyone else was on the terrace. We felt completely discriminated against. Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty either. For me a big ZERO.

When we made a reservation for 10 people, we were not informed that there would not be a menu in the evening, but only the grill buffet for 60 CHF. Unfortunately, with 10 invited guests and a budget per person for the main course of 30-45 CHF, the situation was a bit... unpleasant. You don’t want to be stingy, but you don’t want to go completely over budget either…. It's a shame, the location was otherwise very nice with a view of landing planes 😎

I was there for the first time yesterday. I have to say...Host Torsten is very, very friendly and personable. Service is excellent and the quality is simply great. Fantastic and idyllic views of nature. That's what makes it. Thanks to the whole team👍 Well done ! I'd love to be back with you soon. Highly recommended.

Location (4/5): The location is very nice and the outside area is fantastic. Enough space between the tables. Attention: Close to the airport and you can hear/see the planes taking off and landing. Personally, I find this fascinating, but others may also find it "disturbing". Service (2/5): The restaurant was pretty full on the terrace. I don't know whether it was that full inside. However, at least outside there were only two people responsible for serving. When we arrived (reservation) we were shown to our table and the drinks order was taken relatively quickly. After that nothing happened for a long time. You could order something from the buffet or from a small menu. (I think it's special that this isn't mentioned when making a reservation.) No one came to record it for over half an hour. This takes a relatively long time and is probably due to the fact that there are too few staff. The dessert was passed downstairs from the head of the table (table of 10) because, although there was plenty of space, we didn't want to walk to every guest. To be honest, I don't understand it and I mean something different by service. Food (3/5): The salad buffet was ok. But nothing more. I missed the variety of the buffet as well as the standard salads that a buffet usually has. The BBQ was ok. Some of the meat was well over done and tough. People at our table also ordered tarte flambée. (Instead of the BBQ buffet) Virtually all of the tarte flambées arrived cold. This is probably due to the lack of staff. The ice cream was made with vanillin and not vanilla. I think that's a shame, especially when you charge 4 CHF for a ball. Here you could resort to better ice cream. Conclusion: It might sound bad, but if you don't have enough staff, it's better to close a few tables so that the service and quality of the food don't suffer.

Beautiful city and amazing landscape. When you eat here you get a great look at the swiss nature. The staff are happy and deliveres the food really quickly. I would come here again if i can.

Nice outdoor area with a playground etc. for children, the indoor playground was also well received (we were there with 2 small children). We ate for just under 150 francs (2 adults). The staff was friendly but busy, which was noticeable. When we wanted to leave after paying (including tip), we had to fork out another 10 francs to visit the playground, which really annoyed me. I think it's completely OK if you pay an entrance fee for coffee and cake, but if you're having an expensive night out, you could, with a little tact, avoid the playground entrance fee. Definitely left a bitter aftertaste for us.

This terrace is beautiful and there is enough space. Poor value for money, the service was not attentive (long waiting time). But the food was delicious 😉

A restaurant with a certain small but fine menu with excellent dishes

Prices are exorbitant. Two scoops of ice cream for 8 fr. (that would be ok), but the balls were very 'mini', served in a very small glass. It's a shame, we're saving money on ice cream! It would be a great place to go out for ice cream with the whole family every now and then! Price-performance is not right at all. Staff is friendly, but we were served by 4 different service employees...and you never really knew who to turn to when ordering drinks because everyone looked away from the staff. Conclusion: It's probably worth a trip just for a drink and to enjoy the view. It is very well maintained and beautiful (view)!

Nicely located restaurant, unfortunately not accessible by public transport. Familyfriendly; Indoor playground (5.-/child), outdoor playground (well-equipped and fenced), high chairs and children's menu are available. Unfortunately, changing tables are only available in the women's toilet. The staff is very friendly and in a good mood. Top! The food is ok-good, the performance is not quite right for the prices, but it is visually beautifully presented.

Very friendly staff! Food was very good, fresh and tasty gazpacho. Tartare could have been better seasoned but was of good quality. Views from the hill are fantastic and the terrace was very thoughtfully and nicely decorated.

Danger: New owner!!! Geerlisburg is now part of a Zurich gastro group. Prices have risen and the quality of the food has taken a massive fall. Service is Zurich style: Nobody Cares.

Unfortunately very disappointing. The service was very brisk and not in a good way. The food did not correspond to the quality that you can expect from a pork cordon blue for just under 40. And it wasn't very appealing either. A pity. This was the last visit for us.

A restaurant with great food and great service! As a guest you feel comfortable right from the start. The indoor playground allows parents to have a cozy and stress-free dinner. You can really enjoy the evening with a glass of rosé, especially on the beautiful terrace. Not only the service staff but also the manager are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We'd love to come back!

Two weeks ago I was allowed to accompany a small wedding celebration here as a wedding photographer and today I am here privately with my family. Beautiful restaurant ideal for small wedding celebrations as well as delicious food and drinks! The tarte flambées are great! Service very nice. Also has an outdoor playground as well as an indoor playground. Highly recommended! Will come again ❤️

The brunch offers a lot for 59.-. There is a really large and very good selection on offer. The indoor playground for the children is great and the service is very friendly and attentive. The whole family loved it and we will definitely come back.

Nicely located and lots of space outside. But the prices are steep! I had fish crispy with fries. Strange; the supplement costs extra. The 4 pieces of crispy cookies alone cost a whopping 24.50! The fries are an additional 5.- In the future I would only order something to drink.

Zurich Geschnetzeltes 42.50.- was very bad and tasteless and chemical taste perhaps decorated with jus powder, rösti burnt on the outside and them soft and oily the plate was not nicely decorated. 5-6 pieces of meat and lots of mushrooms. I could decorate it better with fresh tomatoes and parsley. Not worth the money.

After changing ownership several times, we were back years later and were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is pleasantly decorated in brown tones. The restaurant is not crowded with tables. The staff is very friendly and the food (veal liver) was very good.

Had brunch twice in the same month. It was good, but unfortunately it's a shame that supplies don't come quickly when plates etc. are empty. I wanted to get bacon and roast twice but without success... and shortly before 1 p.m. there are only the leftovers from the dessert buffet that were left over... this year we saw the brunch and again next year... the 59.00 are ok because of Prosecco It also includes as much as you want to drink… in Zurich it costs more…

We wanted to visit the restaurant for lunch after seeing that it has a playground for children. Unfortunately there was only brunch and no lunch menu as stated online. The brunch for 59 Chf per person is outrageous. It's a shame about the beautiful restaurant and the great indoor playground - but we won't come again.

A very good meal with excellent service. What more could you want? However, the menu offers a relatively small selection and the prices are really in the upper segment. The view is also beautiful! I enjoyed the sunset from there yesterday. Overall, Geerlisburg is recommended.

The food tasted very tasty, but I had one big drawback that I wanted to get rid of and I ordered a cheesecake for 8.50.-, when the cheesecake arrived I was amazed, 2 small morsels the size of a forest nut. Disappointing and stingy at the same time. You kindly pointed this out to the staff and the answer was: then you have to order 2 portions. Such experiences are just a shame.

Mmmmh... fine desserts :) Plus a nice view over the whole area, a good place for a Sunday trip. The only disturbing point: despite all the love for nature, there were far too many flies in it, something should be done about it!

Yesterday we met a colleague for dinner. The menu didn't have anything without gluten, I can understand that, I don't have a problem with that either. The “Buure” Cordon Bleu from Swiss pork, stuffed with smoked bacon & raclette cheese, I could have eaten it with French fries and seasonal vegetables for 35.50 without breading, but it wasn't possible because they were already ready. So definitely not homemade. A veal pancake was suggested to me as an alternative. I reluctantly agreed. What was then delivered was a cookie with a small bowl of fries. No vegetables, no garnish, just nothing. Price 42.00 francs. For some supplement. I had to run to the buffet because everyone from the service was discussing the service. Very bad and unprofessional. All I can say is, we won't be coming anymore.

Came with my 1 year old child after a short bike tour. I had to wait 20 minutes and was only served when I spoke to a waitress who was standing behind me and chatting about whether I could please order something. it would be ok if there weren't people standing around and chatting all the time. It's a shame about such a beautiful view.

Not as good as it was 10 years ago. Decent food but very expensive. Better staff is definitely lacking. Such a nice place with an incredible view. With a few upgrades in staff and pricing it could easily be a 4 or 5 star restaurant.

Beautiful garden, nice service. But: withered flowers and rotten cactus glass on the table. Caesar salad was good, fish crispy a little less so. Also very small portion of fries for the price. It's a shame, there's still a lot of untapped potential... When I paid, I was told by service that I would have been welcome to order something else. They would have reduced the portions slightly to limit the waste food. Ok, I can accept it 🤗
