Excellent ice cream in traditional and also surprisingly innovative flavors. It's worthwhile to make a detour for a short stop to grab for a nice sweet treat.

Usually one of my favorite places to go BUT I have to say I got such a small portion today that I was shocked. This could have never been 2 scoops of ice cream and unfortunately I can just agree with the latest review. The portions used to be decent in the last seasons and reasonable for the price. I hope member of staff will be trained accordingly to ensure great customer service also in this season.

Great ice cream shop with mostly very tasty and always changing creative ice cream creations. I can especially recommend marzipan poppy seeds. The staff are always friendly and you are welcome to try the different flavors of ice cream if you are unsure what to choose. Despite the great service and the very tasty ice cream, the prices are cheap, especially by Zurich standards.

Maybe the best ice cream in Zurich? Has mega strong varieties that you can't get anywhere else, e.g. elderberry, Mandsrine saffron, ... It's not too sweet and the prices are very fair.

I've always liked the gelato here however I had quite a weird experience today. As far as I understand, I can choose upto two flavours for 3.80. When I was there I saw people getting either 1 or 2 flavors and a heaped cup; however when it came to me, I said I wanted the zwetschgen and nothing else, I only got one tiny cup which was visibly half of what others(including my friend) got.

Very good ice creams ! The different flavours really taste like what they are made of, it’s not too sweet, good smooth texture, good prices. My personal favourite is the grapefruit-pepper, I really like these unusual combinations. 2,40€ for one cone or one pot that contains 2 scoops. Only low point: they put per default a plastic spoon in the ice, which I personally don’t need and for which I’d have like to spare the waste.

Its not bad. But its completely overrated! Only popular because its cheap. Movenpick is wayyyy better!!

It’s the best ice cream shop outside of Italy. They have very creative and thoughtful tastes, which change periodically. Meanwhile, they have a lot of stores across all of switzerland, spreading happiness and joy. I am so happy to live in the same century in which Gelateria Di Berna became an ice cream option. I've been going to the Gelateria di Berne for years and it confirms itself as one of the two best ice cream shops in Zurich. It has 3 addresses in the city, a good choice of flavours, the ice cream is creamy and offers tasty and non-obvious alternatives that change periodically.

If you're looking for a good gelato, this is the place to go. Gelateria di Berna is very well known among the people as the best gelato in the city and sometimes there are a lot of people waiting in line. It is definitely worth it. Not only is the gelato fantastic, but so is the staff.

If you go there for the dark black ice cream and then you don't find it... well you'll be disappointed

Apparently the best ice cream parlor in Zurich. Many types of ice cream are also vegan and taste very good. There are usually long queues in front of the restaurant.

The gelato here is excellent, they give you a decent amount of it and let you choose 2 flavors for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend going here for ice cream.

The Gelateria di Berna is by far the best in Bern, if not in all of Switzerland. In the summer I go there almost every day.

What a treat! We were in a shop just milling around and a local asked if we had gelato on our trip yet and she directed us to try this 💜 so so good on a hot summer’s day!

We keep coming back every summer. They have a big selection of amazing ice cream, with some sitting on benches in front of the shop. They even gave us a free cone for our dog when we asked. Portions are very generous and flavours never disappoint! Highly recommended. Two flavours were 7.60 CHF.

The Gelateria di Berna in Zurich is truly an ice cream oasis in the middle of city life. Just by looking at the long queue that stretches far out onto the sidewalk, you can feel the unmistakable atmosphere that this place exudes - similar to a busy Italian piazza. Although the wait should be considered, it is worth every moment. I had the vanilla Amarena, and it was a delight. The quality of the ice cream is excellent and the taste is simply wonderful. You can feel how much love and craftsmanship goes into the production - a reminiscence of memories from childhood when we stood in front of the display case of a gelateria and were allowed to choose our favorite ice cream. The concept is remarkable - it is not just an ice cream parlor, but a meeting place that awakens memories and creates new ones. The friendly service completes the entire experience and gives the place a high quality of life. The price is reasonable for the quality and experience you get. Despite the urban location, it feels like a mini vacation - a true escape from everyday life. Even though I can't speak about the interior or the other offerings because I was only there for ice cream, I can say that Gelateria di Berna is definitely an asset to Zurich. Their commitment to quality and authenticity can be felt in every spoonful of ice cream and makes every visit a special experience. Clear five stars from me.

Great gelato and sorbets in Zürich! Don't be discouraged by the queue. It moves pretty quickly! I think the prices are fair for the area and the portions are not too small. They have many interesting flavors and vegan (sorbets) choices. The fruit sorbets don't taste artificial at all, which is always a nice thing!

Very tasty ice cream and good prices. At the You have to expect a queue when visiting, but things move quickly (waiting time approx. 5-10 minutes). If you like chocolate, I recommend the Mare di Berna and the chocolate sorbet.

Highly recommended if husband and wife want to eat real gelato. We even drive from AG to ZH for this. Really successful and it definitely brings back childhood memories. The price for a Copetta with 3 varieties is fair and absolutely justified at 5.00. Gelato is filled generously and the portion is just right. Friendly staff. Queue? Yes, of course, with good things this is normal! But we only waited 10 minutes. But the taste is perfect. I would like you to open a location in Aarau :) Update: Gelatis are still sensational. Still recommended!

In this small ice cream shop you can find so many different flavours, from the most classic to the most particular, with even vegan variations. The ice cream and the biscuit in the cone are very good, I tried pistachio from Bronte, to which I think a pinch of salt could be added, and mare di Berne, creamy and chocolatey. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great.

Quite simply the best gelato in all of Züri... and very good mulled wine in the winter :) the location makes for a great atmosphere day and night :)
