A fab, friendly tavern on the outskirts of Kandersteg. Well worth the 30 min walk from Kandersteg station, good food, great value for money, brilliant drinks choice, friendly landlord. Live music some nights. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped off here for a few beers and an evening to unwind... friendly bar staff, and reasonably priced beers.

Fabulously welcoming staff, who created a great atmosphere for the Belle Epoque festival. Warm and cosy, and other very friendly guests who taught us how to play the nail game. Will definitely be back in the future when we return to Kandersteg.

Cozy tavern with close, attentive and pleasant staff. I'm staying nearby and come every night, it's great to end the day here. Unbeatable price quality, next year we will also return. They have a beautiful terrace, board games, darts, karaoke… and the cocktails are incredible.

We are staying nearby and we come every night, the staff is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. The best bar in town to drink and eat, especially considering that the kitchen is open all day.

Beautiful little place, great staff who lovely to talk too, and an amazing atmosphere came for a quick drink and ending up staying 3 hours playing darts and the hammer and nail game (the staff taught us how to play acidentally broke there hammer and they were still very sweet) absolutely reccomened the trip from Kandersteg to vist this place 👍

this was cutest little place and the atmosphere is amazing with a few games and very friendly staff who had great conversations with us and showed us how to play the traditional games and they gave us free tasters of the beer. 10/10 recommend pleaseeee go support them

Wow! Such an awesome spot. Just what we wanted to enjoy at the end of a day of riding. Great food, wonderful drinks and we even got to listen to Edgar and his band playing some live music. Highly reccomend. Will be back for sure.

A great place to stop. We managed to book our last evening meal for a large group of UK Explorer Scouts after 2 weeks at KISC and were well looked after.

Very nice place, nestled in the mountains. Good, homemade Portuguese food. Really nice and polite staff; makes you feel at home. I advise managers to enhance the cola more.
