Cozy and nice place for a glass of wine while you have some Greek appetizers

George is an advertisement for Greece and for Kythera in the center of Europe. With a well-thought-out wine list and amazing accompanying dishes, it is a special spot in the city of Basel. But apart from these, what will win you over most of all is George's character, humor, intelligence and teasing. Which make even the most "strict" Swiss burst out laughing. So 5 stars gentlemen to George the Greek!

Extremely cozy shop with a broad collection of wine to taste and buy. Possible even to sit in and drink, a very nice surprise for us just passing by. The variety is huge and the guy is very prepared about what he has inside. A must when in town!
