Very tasty products, but the owner of the shop is extremely unfriendly and rude. Customers are complained about for no reason. But the lady employed is very friendly. I always hope that the owner isn't there. What a shame!

The boss knows her stuff very well and gives very good advice. Ordering from the main branch in Riehen worked great and the cakes and cupcakes were super delicious. Always my pleasure

Fine delicacies, I'm happy with the products. The friendliness of the owner is sometimes very peculiar (I'll put it that way). Unfortunately, I've hardly been there since the new opening hours in Riehen. A pity. But can really recommend the products.

Unfortunately, the new opening times are not designed for working people, and I have now come into the store twice 45 to 60 minutes before closing time and there was no space left, not even the opportunity for a coffee, as everything outside was already cleared away and set up. It's a shame because I always enjoyed going to the store for the really delicious bread and pretzels. But because of these two experiences one after the other and the poor opening times, the quality for the customers has decreased significantly. A pity!

I received my package yesterday after 1 week of waiting and I added this company to my favorite contacts. Incredibly good, fresh and various gluten-free breads and pastries that are 100% comparable to “normal” products. The lye pretzels and the Dutchies are crazy. The bread is perfectly packaged in individual bags so that no contamination can occur. I sliced all the bread and put it back in the freezer. Cutting the bread was a celebration because it didn't turn into crumbs by hand, as was usual. 6 out of 5 stars! The wait is worth it and a site visit is already being planned.

Great selection of gluten-free baked goods and baking ingredients. The owner provides advice with a lot of knowledge and experience in the area. Lovely seating for a short coffee break on the way to Basel.

The name is program! I recently visited the gluten-free bakery for the first time and could hardly contain my joy. The gluten-free strawberry tart was sensational and the plait, which I ate the next day, was so delicious that I regretted only buying the smaller version. Adjusting to a gluten-free life was very hard for me and I didn't feel like eating pastries for a long time because I had a lot of bad experiences. However, that clearly changed after this visit. I'll be back soon! PS: I like the gluten-free Baslerläckerli even better than the “normal” ones. :P

On the one hand, I really like the little shop. The bread and the plait taste great to me and, to be honest, better than some normal bread from the bakery. After a few sub-successful attempts at baking gluten-free recently, I now have even more respect for this achievement. The staff is always friendly, helpful and also gives tips on substitute products. Definitely worth the trip to Riehen (you just shouldn't be there too close to closing time because in case of doubt everything has been bought up ;))

Every major town should have a gluten free bakery like Glutenfrei Köstlichkeiten. I gladly made a detour to buy from their delicious cakes, pastries and bread. When the weather is nice you could order and taste directly on the small terrace. Although most customers are local, this would definitely be a recommended stop for international visitors to Basel who have coeliac disease or follow a gluten free diet. Parking could be an issue if you don’t have a local permit, but for a quick purchase you might be able to park on the premise. A direct tram (Line 6) to the city center stops close to the bakery.

Unfriendly and zero customer focus. A friend wanted to order several cupcakes and a cake for a birthday. We called ahead to ask if it was also open for lunch. The answer to this was yes. Unfortunately we then found ourselves in front of a locked door. People reacted very rudely to calls or messages. We still wanted to give the baker a second chance and bought some tarts. Unfortunately, they were all bone dry and far too sweet. There is no accommodation with prices for larger orders and further messages or phone calls are not even responded to. Never again just in a mess.

I was surprised by friends with a streusel rhubarb cake. It was super delicious. Apparently it's supposed to stay fresh for up to a week - for us it was gone in no time. Finally something different in the gluten-free variety - everyone gets their money's worth here!

Large range of gluten- and lactose-free products (also soy- and dairy-free products). The chocolate cake (without gluten, without lactose) and the milk coffee (lactose-free and vegan milk to choose from) tasted very tasty. Recommendation. Hearty shop with two tables and some seating. While I was there, Christmas goodies were being baked in a cozy and busy manner.

I bought a walnut loaf last week for an out-of-town guest. Not only did it look like 'real bread,' my guest said it was the best crust she had had in 20 years. Kathrin is lovely and the cafe is well worth a visit.
