It almost made us forget that Swiss prices are scary. We felt like kings during the service, we laughed at each other, then they made us a doggy bag so we didn't leave anything behind when we surrendered. It was really good

A delight! Down the line. Everything was delicious. The meatballs, and the chicken as well as the paneer. In the top ! The service is also super friendly and helpful. The only downside lies in the price of the naan: 8fr PCE!?!? Far too expensive. But that doesn't spoil this good time of Indian cuisine!

The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is super attentive. The place inside is also very cozy. It is a hidden gem on Baselstrasse. I can only recommend it. Just a little suggestion: A vegan chai on the menu would be much appreciated too.

It was one of the best prawn masalas I ever had. This restaurant is better than any other Goan restaurant in South India. The only downside is that it is expensive, but Switerzland itself is expensive.

We came here blinded by the reviews. We found it uncomfortably loud. I had ordered something with fish for 40fr, so I was expecting something other than pangasius. The best was the Bombay Mule, which consisted mainly of ice cream.

Luckily we were able to get a table without a reservation! the food was very tasty and the service was attentive. We had the Kings plate (to share for 2-3 people, but it was more than enough!) We would love to come back!

Excellent Indian cuisine, adapted to Europe's palate, but you can ask for original spicing. The ambient is modern, very inviting, but it could do with a little care and maintainance. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Simply the best Indian food I have had in a long time. This is coming from someone who lives in North American cities where it's called Mini India. This place exceeded all exceptions. It's a bit pricey for what I am used to but after I walked out, it was totally worth it. Try their chicken lollipops, lamb, tandoori roti, chole!

Visited with my wife and eight year old son. We were late and arrived close to the restaurants afternoon closing time but the staff was kind enough to accommodate us. There is something for everyone on the menu. The Palak Paneer and Pista Lassi are highly recommended.

The best Indian restaurant in Lucerne

We visited this place during our stay in Lucerne. It has good menu and food tasted good. It missed the mark on quantity and we wised that we didn't have to order so many items. We found it kind of expensive but will visit again if we felt like eating Indian food in Lucerne.

The food was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was also lovely, creating a pleasant dining experience. However, I found the prices to be a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, if you're lucky, you might find parking right outside the restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed the flavors and atmosphere, despite the slightly steep prices.

Ambience of restaurant was good but staff on that day was very rude and didn’t give us enough time to order. She looked like an employee on notice period. She hardly cared if we stay or leave. Food wise , we ordered some safron rice which was greasy but white rice and curry was good. The chat I attached below was okay

OMG where do I start on this? It was one of the best indian food place I have had outside India. I do travel a lot but haven't come across such a great indian restaurant anywhere outside India. The food, the presentation, the ambience, the service.. you name it and they have it. Specially our server Kenny (I also took picture with him so you can relate) was exceptional. His service was top notch and he took really good care of us while we where there. As you can tell from the pictures of the food that it was an excellent place to eat after a long day of hike or sight seeing in Lucerne. Regardless of what you will order from menu, your taste buds will not be disappointed. We had all variety of food from veg options to meat but it was so tasty and yummy. Must visit while in Lucerne.

At Titlis, we bought a bottle of Pistachio Lassi at 'Spice Bistro', which was amazing. The bottle had the address of this restaurant, and we decided to find it and have meal out hear. The restaurant has great ambience. We ordered Papdi Chat to start with. It was basically Sev Puri, and was ok. The highlight of the meal was Amritsari Chhole and Puri.. this were best Chole I had ever had!! Not even in India has such tasty Chole!! These Chole made the entire visit worth it. We ended our meal with their delicious Pistachio Lassi. The menu items are costly , even by Swiss standards, but was worth it. Would certainly recommend it.

I have ordered through Uber. The Uber did not deliver, however the restaurant directly delivered it for free of charge. Very tasty food and courteous people.

An authentic Indian restaurant 🤚🏼🔥🔥 Its location is on a street with parking about two minutes away from it, in the name of the College of Business and Hotel Administration ✨ The restaurant is elegant and quiet, and the service is fast 👍🏻 The food is delicious and these are our orders by name on the bill The most delicious thing for me is Edam Tikka Masala with Chicken ✨ It has amazing fish edamame Most edamas come with white basmati rice Don't worry, the biryani rice is very delicious 😍 What I thought was sweet and what I will repeat is Edam with spinach and cheese 🤚🏼 We ordered naan bread without garlic and without butter

Food good, service unprofessional. A dirty table should be cleaned after the main course when the coffee comes. Obviously not a given. Snippy & bored staff. And at very proud prices.

I used to go to GourmIndia a lot. Service and restaurant used to be okay. Seems to be under new management. The food is no longer of the same standard and way too expensive!

The food was very tasty..very nicely prepared..the bread was hot and the salad was crispy and fresh..the PetitArvine wine was very good. generally clean impression. But the toilets are a no-go. Totally rusted and calcified taps and drain holes...immediately catches the eye... You can easily lose your appetite...

Being Indian, and daughter of ex-restauranteurs, this is my go to Indian in Lucerne. Now it’s not uniquely ultimate, the food is good. Their service could be more attentive and swift- apart from that they are really friendly.

Everything was awesome! The place, the food, the manager were all 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. The manager is so helpful and energetic! I wanted something really spicy, like Indian spicy, the chef specially made it for me and it was delicious, just what I wanted and needed. Thank you!🙏🏻

Ambience was good but food was really bad. We had ordered papdi chat, simple dal tadka , aloo gobi & rice. Everything was flavorless. Papdi chat was just papdi ( which was not papdi but mathdi) with mashed potatoes( probably frozen) . Dal tadka didn't have any tadka. Aloo gobi was flavorless. Really disappointed with food. We paid almost $90 for bad food & good ambience.

This is the undoubtedly best restaurant in Luzern, rightly valued and although a bit expensive than the others, you get great experience and food. Tried this first time in 2017, and then again in 2022 - both the times they made sure not to disappoint here and made it a great experience. Hospitality - 9/10 Ambience - 9/10 Food - 9/10 We ordered Chicken tawa, meatballs curry, dal makhani, and mix grill platter with roti and naan. We are living in EU for over a decade now, and have tried a lot of Indian restaurants this one indeed offered great food and service. All the dishes were aptly cooked and tasted really fresh. The staff is very friendly and the service is pretty good. I will highly recommend this restaurant if you crave Indian food in Luzern.

I visited this restaurant on 28 April 2022 after recommendation from a colleague and I was not disappointed. This is without doubt the best Indian food I have had in Switzerland in more than 11 years of living here. Nothing else I have tried comes close. As a UK citizen I am used to having great Indian restaurants easily available but this is not the case in Switzerland. But now I have found GourmIndia, I will be a regular visitor. I must add that the lady serving us was also extremely friendly and we had a lovely chat with her. If I have any criticism, it might be that the prices are probably a little high (particularly the mixed grill), but if you want really lovely Indian food here in Luzern then that is the price to pay. Try this restaurant, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Update 02 November 2022: Returned to GourmIndia tonight after a 6 month gap. Food was once again delicious and the service from our very friendly waiter, Thiago, and our lovely waitress (sorry, did not get her name) was excellent. The waitress who looked after us 6-months ago still remembered us from our last visit, even where we were sitting. That's impressive. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommended.

Best restaurant for Indian food..the food is lip smacking with perfect blend of Indian spices and authenticity. We were first skeptical to go here reading few negative google reviews but we were lucky enough to ignore them n not miss this yummy food..gave a homely feeling since we were really missing Indian food on our long Swiss trip…would have given more than 5 stars to this place if there was an option. Take a bow chef… never had such delicious Palak paneer even in India..

Food is really good! The wait staff wants to be friendly, but they are far too hectic and nervous. Too expensive for my taste. Take away or have it delivered is great! 3 out of 5 eat locally. Have food delivered or take away 5 out of 5.

Nice food a little outside main center but the Walk was worth it

The best Indian restaurant I have tried in Switzerland. The reception was excellent and the service was very fast. Students as follows. The tikka masala was very very delicious. Samosa is okay. Tandoori chicken was ok. The food is delicious but hot.

Went to Gourmindia in Lucerne for the first time today. The food was very good and authentic. The price is quite high, but since the quality and service is good, it didn't bother us. We'll definitely come back again

But it’s very expensive , Switzerland itself is very expensive for food but Interlaken was much more cheaper than luzerne here in this restaurant naan price was approx 8.5 euros while in interlaken it was approx 4.5 euros and taste was better there. We have ordered from GourmIndia and picked up the food several times now. It's fantastically delicious! We always receive friendly service on the phone and when picking up items. Since there is always a lot going on, you just have to allow a little time before you can pick up the food. Then you will be rewarded with the finest Indian food! It was a pleasure!
