Grazie in Zürich

Nicely furnished locally but unfortunately understaffed and you can feel that. Measly slices of pizza (but tasted ok) at exorbitant prices. OK for drinks.

The location is great and the staff is friendly. Today we had a bad day with the pizzas - totally dry and too salty. Unfortunately a no-go for the price.

Booked a table for 7 people to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends. When we arrived there was only room for 4 people at the table; a stool was offered for the other three to bridge the waiting time. When the entire table was free for us, there were extremely long waiting times until we received the food/drink. We ordered appetizers and pizza together. When we asked about the pizza we were told there were no more. It's a shame because the location looked promising. The wine is also too cold and not good. Unfortunately really not worth a visit. Very expensive, because half of the group had to get a kebab because we weren't full

I like what they did to the walls! The cocktail menu could be a more extensive than Aperol Spritz and Negroni, but alas, quality over quantity.

The GRAZIE does (almost) everything right. The pizzas are delicious and of high quality in terms of ingredients and preparation. Their prices are very high. I also tried the truffle fries. These could do with 2-3 minutes longer in the deep fryer! Drinks and the homemade lemonade were good.

We met at Grazie to linger! Which was absolutely successful! Really a cozy atmosphere, drinks and food were really great! Freshly prepared and really convincing! Unfortunately, the waiter was alone for the terrace and the restaurant and therefore, in my opinion, not as much attention was paid to the service as the resti deserves! However! The waiter was great and handled the rush really well. Since we had zero stress, we were happy to wait 2-3 minutes longer! I'd love to come back!

We had 2 PERFECT slices of pizza to go. I will definitely return.

I celebrated my birthday at Grazie's Sala del vino downstairs with 18 people. Myself as well as all of my guests had a great time: delicious food and drinks and really friendly service!

For our business event, Grazie delivered pizzas in various variations (meat, vegetarian, vegan) and charcuterie platters (also gluten-free options) for 250 people. The collaboration with the managing director went smoothly and was always extremely friendly. The quality and variety of pizzas and charcuterie platters were excellent, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. I can warmly recommend Grazie for catering, also on behalf of my employer. Thank you again, Sammy, and the entire Grazie team for the top-notch comfort food at our event!

Another new hipster place in Zurich, made in Italian style but for the portions you get you would be laughed at in Italy. If you want to be full here, you have to expect around 150.- per person. Completely overpriced, conditions very incompetent and long waiting times. The alcoholic drinks are also very small and there is more water in them than alcohol. Food was good (Polpette) and the atmosphere was also very friendly. But wouldn't come here again.

An easygoing place for snacks and drinks. Nice selection. No pretenses, just good vibes. Zurich lacks these kinds of places.

I recently celebrated my birthday there with a large group and everyone really enjoyed it. Nice restaurant, fine pizza and a great team. Can only recommend the Grazie!

I really cannot relate to the negative reviews listed here, but that’s a different story I guess. My experience with Grazie was always fair, such as the prices and the wine fill sizes. Really do recommend this place if you like to be in a cozy environment (inside& outside) for drinks and food.

First the positive: location, furnishings and idea. However, the implementation doesn't quite work. Service was unfriendly, food wasn't really bad (interesting combinations), but small portions, cold and overpriced. Aperol Spritz had more mineral water in it than anything else. Overall very disappointing experience, unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

We got takeaway but then decided to stop and eat on site because the atmosphere was really pleasant. Informal, urban style, with a fantastic juke box inside the venue. Excellent pan pizzas, tasty, and in my opinion at the right price. The wine on tap was also very enjoyable. Service like the environment: informal and delicious. Note of merit to the coffee, absolutely among the best Italian style I have found in 8 years in Zurich.

If you want a nice evening with good service, then don't visit Grazie! Unfortunately the service is terribly bad. We were celebrating a birthday and were looking forward to the wine cellar we rented. Unfortunately we received a very rude welcome. We were told at the beginning that they were understaffed and that unfortunately we didn't get our own waiter. This was also clearly noticeable. The table wasn't set, all the employees seemed stressed and sympathy was completely misplaced. But instead of accommodating us, we were even asked to pay for the 3 missing guests. Very unpleasant and very unsatisfactory. An absolute no-go in the catering industry.

We were offered a flat rate of 38 euros per person for food (excluding drinks). Definitely excessive price for slices of pizza and non-existent service. But the worst comes when it comes to paying. We booked a table for 15 people, but only 13 were actually to be present. We were forced to pay the fee per person even for the two people who were not present. I will never go back again.

Not recommended. We rented the sale del vino, which was definitely not as advertised. In the pictures there's a beatiful candle lit dinner with a laid table. All we got were silver trays and drinks had to be ordered at the bar. We came missing 2 people from the reservation and were told we would still have to pay for these. In the same breath we were also informed, that they were understaffed today, have a new hire and could therefore not provide us with the usual services. When asked for sympathy on our side, they were non torelant. Absolutely unfriendly. The food wasn't too bad, but due to the missing appetite, we couldn't really enjoy it.

Absolutely avoid. They made us pay two extra fees for a reservation for 15 people in which there were 13 of us, with hasty and rude service after we had paid a lot for food and drinks (guaranteeing a much higher income than the two missing fees). There are many places in Zurich where it is easy to find better pizza without paying that much (plus the two fees the restaurant so rudely demands)

Terrible or non-existent service. The icing on the cake was that we were overcharged for two people who couldn't come (out of 15!), with a manager who didn't want to hear anything, telling us that this would be the case in any restaurant. It is obviously the opposite, and the first time (hopefully the last) that something like this has happened to us. Ridiculous behavior and an incredible attitude. A shame. Not to mention that there are many places in Zurich where you can eat much better pizza for a much better price. To avoid, absolutely.

We have booked a table for 15, 2 people couldn't make it and and they made us pay for 15 anyway.

DO NOT GO HERE! We reserved the basement room for a birthday, since it was advertised as a great place for such an occasion. However, not only were we completely neglected, the room and table didn't look anything like the advertised pictures. Right as we came in, they let us know that they were short on staff, which can happen and is definitely stressful, but seeing as the place was never full, is absolutely no excuse for the treatment. We asked multiple times for a water refill, having to go up to the bar every time, yet never received it. And whenever we ordered drinks at the bar, which we had to do every single time, even having to carry our trays down to the basement when the ad promised great service, they asked for a tipp. Every single time. Additionally, we had to eat our food, which also wasn't great, out of cheap and sticky makeshift metal bowls. And in the end, after not being cared for or treated nicely at all, they charged us a set price for 15 people, even though we were only 12. The guy with the moustache and glasses at the check-out even had the audacity to let us know that "they treated us exactly how they would've treated everybody else" which in itself clearly is the big problem. We did not feel welcome, especially for it being a birthday. Will definitely not return, which is a shame since we all live in the area.

When I go to have a drink with friends after get off work, there are a lot of people, so I have to order my own food and find a seat.

Espresso is fine and only 3Fr, I have never seen it so cheap in Zurich. Also suitable as a café.

Below average pizza, rude service

I really like the pizza, as it is nice and crispy and their draft beer is good as well. However, the service is average at best. I was there once with a friend sitting just outside the windows. We were the only people. We ordered some pizzas and when they were ready, the lady started aggressively knocking against the window that we should come and pick them up. Yes, it is a self-service place, yes we should pick them up ourselves, but you can do it in a friendly manner as well. I worked in restaurants before and when there is nobody else, you can also bring them out. That’s what good service looks like.

Nice atmosphere. However, drinks were weak. Ordered truffle fries and it didn't have any truffle. Also, ordered calamari fries and they were the soggiest I've ever had.

Great food and very reasonably priced. They have a cozy inside for casual dining and lots of outdoor seating. We had the vegans, radicchio and crudo, Caprese and the eggplant and spicy salami. All were really good but the eggplant and salami was my favorite. Definitely will be back!

Italianitá and good taste are celebrated here, as well as good music and friendliness! If you want to try best pizza in town (or ever!?!) - be @ Grazie!

*good ambiance in nice location, but too pricy pizza appetizer* Grazie is located in the nice Bruchbacherplatz, next to Gelateria di Berna. It’s nice to have an aperitivo during spring and summer, and stroll around in the area. It feels very local and quiet, yet lively. I’d say the drinks are okay, in line with what many other places offer (I am not speaking of cocktails, here I can’t judge). Pizza tough is quite overpriced. For 8 CHF (more or less) you get a tiny square. So if you’re hungry, bring the money. The taste tough is good. The concept is a bit that of “pizza al taglio”, although it resembles more a schiacciata. I personally like variety and I am not a fan of the Neapolitan, so I more than enjoyed the taste. We definitely went back and will keep going, but only for drinks.

Unfortunately not recommended: Very small selection of food in such a small space: far too loud English had to be spoken to the staff because they didn't speak German. When asked if you could order something else with the squid, you had to ask the chef. Dr Koch spoke at least German and he was able to help. Not recommendable

I was in the Grazie with a group (12 people) and that made it uncomfortable. It's self-service, meaning you have to order at the counter and pay straight away every time. The drinks and meals were labeled on the wall in Italian, but the staff only speaks English! I personally don't like this concept, hence only two stars.

At 9 p.m. the coffee machine was already out and there was no grappa on offer. Sorry, a NO GO for an “Italian restaurant”.

They want to be hippy place but they try to hard! So you are not sure if this is restaurant with real service or just cool-chill-palce-for-young-open-minded. But in fact you do not know how to behave there (you buy by a bar and then you take it with you? or they bring it?) The music inside is a way too loud! you cannot talk normally :-(

It's a shame that the non filtrata ichnusa is not offered, that would be exactly the typical Sardinia feeling! The Cruda tastes like the Heineken, you could just as easily skip it. A pity!

Best pizza, best service in a perfect location!

Excellent pizza on the best food street in Zurich. You pay per piece. These could be a µ larger. If you're still hungry, you can then visit the neighboring Gelateria Berne. There is a lot of ice cream for the money there.

Not only we humans had the pleasure to enjoy the super delicious pizzas 🍕 - also Winnie got a plate of first class cold cuts. We absolutely enjoyed the amazing service and nice staff but also the amazing atmosphere. We love it and can only recommend it.

Nice cosy retro place! But wine is low quality, negroni is not what it should be. I didn’t try the small pizza because I prefer the authentic Napolitan one. Sorry it’s not my place.

Nice location and the pizzas aren't bad, but the prices are really exaggerated. A tiny pizza slice (really tiny) costs 8 franks. For 16 franks you get a ridiculously small pre-mixed Aperol Spritz. I really think it doesn't make any sense from a business perspective, there are so many other choices in that area, I would definitely not go there because of the prices.

The atmosphere is nice, but the food is overpriced compared to other places in Zürich. Staff is not very professional and does not have the sufficient information about the food they serve (e.g. allergens, whether the cheese is pasteurised, etc..)

A real treat for the palate, I really enjoyed the pizza and the vegan version was great too. The selection of wines and other drinks is impressive. I recommend everyone to visit the restaurant. We were thrilled and are already looking forward to the next time! Grazie Grazie :)

Great concept! I'm particularly a fan of the thick, fluffy bases - something different and always with a vegan option. The staff is always very friendly and relaxed and the furnishings are also more than successful. A great new place in Zurich!

Good concept and the pizza is good, but it’s expensive even for Zürich, there is no Margherita which in my opinion is a must have for every pizzeria!

Update: There was another time, this time the waitress wasn't really friendly and couldn't (won't?) give me advice about the wine. Pizza not as good as last time (a little too cold for my taste). The cupli was a bit stale.
