I ordered the carrot cake and was able to pick it up the same day. Everything worked smoothly and great and I really have to say, the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. I can only recommend it and will visit Cakefriends more often in the future. Thanks to the whole team.

OMG! What a pleasant surprise. Had some minutes to kill waiting for friends coming in Zurich HB and as it was quite cold a warm drink sounded good. Without anything special in mind we decided to try the unassuming coffeeshop with a cute name: cakefriends. Shop was empty and we took our time checking the options...i didnt want a plain coffee this time so decided to try my first flatwhite with lactose free milk. It was memorable!! Well done, cakefriends! I will stop by everytime i come by Zurich HB before noon (cant take caffeine in the pm)!!

Bought and ate (shared) 3 different muffins. For me they all have the same basic taste. To me they taste similar to the preserved cakes from Migros and co. A description on the website says "great ingredients". What does that mean?

By the name cake friends I mean a lot of selection with good cakes. The selection was rather modest and quite simple. The cakes looked like cake mixes and were expensive, as expected. My chocolate muffin tasted like it was carelessly baked for a parents' evening and the consistency was also rather soggy. You have to know.

The guy working there is very nice but the coffee(cold brew) was absolutely disgusting and looked like hot chocolate. People even asked us what kind of beverage this was and if we were really going to drink that.

A 10 cm long black hair was floating in homemade iced tea. When I was made aware of this, I was initially led to believe that it came from Alpine herbs. When I showed again very clearly that there really was a hair in it, they said they had no idea and the bottle was put away. My first and last visit here.
