HANS IM GLÜCK Burgergrill & Bar in Basel

Today we were “celebrating” my 7th birthday and I can only report positive things. It took us a little longer until everyone knew what they wanted, but our waitresses were still so friendly and always had a smile for us. We are not easy guests but you were awesome there ❤️ The food tasted really great. The burger could have been a little hotter but that didn't make it worse. The cocktails are also really nice. We will be back

Unfortunately the burgers were nothing special. The essence of a burger, the pattie, was fried absolutely dead and therefore far dry. The burgers are also very small. I was still very hungry afterwards. Service and ambience were great. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Always a pleasure! Sweet potato fries are amazing! Take away takes about 10 minutes (very quickly). Very nice service. Disinfectant at the entrance.

As always, we had to wait 2 hours for our food after ordering via the app!! Ordered for 4 people and paid 150.- (luckily it was refunded via eat) food was cold (not the first time either) and not edible and 2 out of 4 people had an upset stomach afterwards!! Not recommended and ordered from Hans im Glück for the last time!!

They put tables and chairs outside but there are no waiters/waitresses. I still have to go inside to catch their attention same thing in paying i waited and waited someone to go out and check but they only prefer to stay inside the restaurant!!! The Service is very bad!!!!

I've been to other Hans im Glück restaurants, but I don't go there anymore. Went in before 7:00 p.m. without a reservation. The restaurant was half full. We first get a table right in front of the kitchen. We wanted another table. Then we went up to the first floor. Many tables were free, but they give us the table in front of the toilet? That wouldn't be a bad thing, but seeing that other guests get a table in the restaurant without a reservation was very annoying. Sorry, you either get rid of the table in front of the toilet entrance or treat guests with a certain amount of respect. If the store was full, I would understand, but like that?

Burgers great as usual! Staff also very friendly and motivated! Only the temperature of the food, including sweet potato fries, has room for improvement, as in other "Hans im Glück" branches.

I thought it was a little more than McDonald's. It is, but only a little. Unfortunately, the evening menu is very misleading due to the pictures, so that there is a vague suspicion that it was made specially. This means you mistakenly end up with an amount that the food doesn't justify.

Very friendly service, pleasant atmosphere with lots of wood (birch trunks as wardrobes) and glass. The burgers are exceptional and taste excellent. Above all, also available in “healthy” versions, with salad instead of French fries. Vegan and vegetarian burgers, but also beef and chicken. Three types of bread...

The Burger is always juicy and delicious, the garlic fries are something else. Lovely atmosphere, great service. Love it come here.

We really enjoyed our burgers here - super tasty. The restaurant was not too busy, so we were able to be seated quickly. Drinks were good, service okay, an overall pleasant and laidback experience.

Good burgers and good food in general, abundant dishes, good prices, everything happening But it might be more convenient to eat there. The seats are quite uncomfortable, the music is too loud, which gives it an unwelcoming atmosphere, it doesn't make you want to stay longer to drink something else, you just want to eat quickly and leave, a shame.

I've been there twice, the seats are narrow and uncomfortable, probably so that people quickly move away and give up the seats to the next guests. The burgers are not good for the price, there are better alternatives. The price is not acceptable for a (very) dry piece of meat, there are many alternatives on the same street that make it better, the meat can also be served medium if desired.

I spontaneously went here for dinner with my family. We received very friendly service and the staff were generally very friendly. The food was okay for the price but it didn't knock me off my chair, just the burger. The ambience is also okay, it's not particularly cozy but it's original and will definitely be very well received by younger guests.

We were there for the first time during the Corona pandemic. What bothered me were the extremely small tables and the tight space. There was hardly any space on the table for the plate and the drink. There was another guest behind me right back to back and sitting next to each other is also very tight. Normal conversation was also very difficult due to the high noise level. Because of the Corona crisis, I felt very uncomfortable with so many people in such a small space. Now we were eating here again, the space is still very tight, but we were given a seat by the window where it was a little less tight and our dog also had space. He also received a water bowl. The service was very friendly. Great range of vegan dishes. There was only one women's toilet and the flushing water ran constantly. I can recommend the restaurant, but it's best not at busy times.

The lunch menu is good value for money. I recommend the sweet potato fries, simply delicious!!! The homemade guava drink is also good. The orange mustard sauce tastes a bit like honey mustard and goes well with the fries. My only criticism would be the coffee. I would be disappointed if I had to pay full price for this quality.

Best fast food restaurant! I've been here several times and will always come back. Good iced teas, delicious fries and burgers, clever idea with the coins! However, the burgers have very little sauce for my taste.

The restaurant “Hans im Glück” was a stroke of luck. We ate really well and the service staff was super fast and friendly. It is decorated with birch trees, which are my favorite trees. That's why the ambience is great :)

One of my favorite burger restaurants! I'm thrilled with the vegan variety of burgers and side dishes. Order on UberEats often. What I also think is brilliant is that you can always choose the bun of the burger and can now even change the patty of each burger. Great concept – also the on-site furnishings! Only recommended!

I don't like burgers from the usual junk food chains but this restaurant is totally different. Really-really tasty one and they serve you a good size portion too! Highly recommended even for all fellow non-burger eaters too!

A place that invites you to eat and drink. Extremely well designed. The seating options offer privacy. The menu invites you to try it out. The price corresponds to the quality. It is wheelchair accessible, has a lift and has sanitary facilities. A table reservation is an advantage. There should also be something on offer for vegetarians. Payment cash, card possible.

The best Burger restaurant in Basel!

Really good burgers with all the trimmings. Anyone who has the choice is spoiled😅 We were there for lunch and had a lunch menu at a good price for burger, side dish, drink and coffee. To drink I had a ginger mango iced tea. That was great!! I like the atmosphere with the birch trunks. The toilets are marked Maitli and Buebe. Heartfelt. I always enjoy going there.

The burgers were dry, not fresh, they were precooked. We stayed on the terasse and people smoking while we ate was vert unpleasant.

The food was quite good, but nothing special. We got the burgers before our drinks, everything seemed a bit chaotic. Coffee is not recommended. However, the ambience is nice and invites you to linger. But we won't come back.

It is a very nice place to sit out on a summer evening and have a drink and dinner. Friendly staff but if you are a city person and like the vibe of busy streets, this might be the place for you in basel.
