The patty tastes good. But the entire burger is way too soft and falls apart. Guacamole is a ready-made sauce! For this price you expect guacamole and I expect a powder mixture or whatever it was. Sweet potato fries with the sour cream is good. Ambiete well, everything was too cramped, we didn't know where to sit because it wasn't a comfortable atmosphere and the armchairs were all dirty (greasy). It's a shame the burger wasn't worth 18.-. Update to the answer: I know what guacamole is and it was definitely not avocado pulp, but a ready-made mix (powder)

Great food & service. Came with two children, unfortunately there was no children's menu but they still offered to split a normal menu into two, so that my children think they got their own menu. Everyone enjoyed everything right down to the last bite! Happy to come back!

Love it! Ordered Avocado Burger Set (comes with fries and homemade lemonade). The meat is juicy and delicious! It's CHF18.90+7.90=CHF26.80 average for a full set.

Today we ate again with my grandson at Claraplatz. The various burgers we had were very tasty and so were the fries. The truffle mayo was great. The Italian woman at the checkout in the restaurant was very friendly and competent and speaks German, which Otherwise it is unfortunately a rarity at the Burgermeister. The 2 chefs were also very friendly and worked very quickly. We will be back. The espresso is, as it should be, strong in taste + 1 glass of water each.

I was hankering for spätzle but that place was closed and now I'm hangry. I've been past Burgermeister a couple of times as it's just down the street from my hotel. And since my "Burger Alsacien" turned out to be something else entirely. Hooray for a kiosk! Super easy to click the button for English if only it also changed the prices to American! I selected the Raclette Burger and added fries and a beer. CHF34 and that's close to $40! It didn't take long - the restaurant was quiet on a Monday evening. My burger arrived, hot and with a big bunch of hot hot fries. Ketchup and mayo. Delicious! Could I have gotten a decent burger from one of the nearby fast food places for half the cost? Yes but where's the fun in that? Burger craving satisfied. Spätzle craving still going.

We loved it. If I knew German I would have personally congratulated the cook. One of the most satisfying and creamiest burgers I have ever tried. My tens. And the waitress speaks Spanish, which is always appreciated 👌

They have gluten free burger, the portion is large. I wasn't sick after it.

Avocado burger super tasty (like everywhere there could be more guacamole :-)) and fine meat, with a burger menu including fries + drink absolutely fair price for about CHF 25. In contrast, they are (surprisingly spicy without mention) Chicken wings at CHF 13.90 are significantly too expensive in comparison. Then eat 2 burgers instead ;-) The service could be friendlier.

One of the most overpriced and worst burgers, even by Swiss standards. The staff, however, is very friendly. If you compare the burger with those in Klara, 100 meters away, which are actually much cheaper, worlds open up.

Very tasty burgers, I prefer the chili cheeseburger 🍔 The meat is always super juicy. The Sweet Potato Fries are often a bit burnt and bitter, which is why I prefer to use the regular fries in the meantime. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Also has many outdoor spaces.

We come here more often because we live nearby and I love Burgermeister burgers. I'm always happy with that. The only bad aspect is that fries are not always crispy. We sometimes have great and delicious sweet fries, but we also often have gummy versions.

The cashier (Filka) can hardly speak German, was very unfriendly and, after several attempts to explain, took the order incorrectly. The burger was cold and the veggie patty had just as little taste as the one at Mcdonalds. But the most tedious thing was the argument that was heard throughout the restaurant. Far too expensive for what was achieved!

Ordered 3 burgers and a chilli cheese fries, got 2 burgers and cheese fries without chilli and simply claimed everything was there...heavy discussion because I wasn't believed at first and my name was written down so I wouldn't do something like that again...me I was offered that I could come over tomorrow and get the money back for a burger... overall a very bad comedy^^ Edit: I was able to collect the money from the missing burger the next day and they basically apologized for the mistake👍

Ordered via Uber Eats and one burger (truffle burger) wasn't delivered enough. Not that bad at first. Can happen. Upon inquiry and the presence of the driver (Uber Eats), they insisted that all burgers had been delivered. Very unfriendly and customer-unoriented reaction. They said they would do it now but it would be the last time and they would write down the name. After asking again, the burger is no longer delivered. You should pick him up in person. I worked in the catering industry myself for many years and if you understand anything about business and customer-oriented entrepreneurial thinking, this is absolutely unacceptable behavior. I was there again on Wednesday and the food was simply very tasty. My special request was also taken into account by the kitchen. The extremely nice lady at the checkout with the pigtails gave me a very friendly welcome. I hadn't been there for a while but it was very good Changed for the better, especially since the staff previously didn't have much interest in welcoming the guests. They're now happy to come back

As a Frenchman lost in this great Swiss territory, I am happy to come across this restaurant with a manager who speaks all languages. And bonus, the burgers are DELICIOUS. Homemade bread, good meat and generous ingredients. A good little memory. Maybe next time...

They didn't have many people and the service was very fast, it barely took them long to bring us dinner, good burgers at a normal price for being Switzerland and the waitress who was I think from Peru is VERY NICE. I recommend this restaurant.

As an American living in basel I've tried most of the burger joints in basel when I've been homesick. Burgermeister is by far the best and it's not even close.

The burger was juicy and as it should be, not completely cooked on the inside (not like in fast food restaurants known all over the world). I found the ingredients to be fresh and crunchy. Here you can eat on site (inside or outside) or take the burger away. At lunchtime there was a bit of a rush, which made the waiting time a bit long. The burger was good for that. Here I get a burger again.

We had some delicious burgers for a fair price here. The sweet potato fries tasted nice but a tiny bit bitter; maybe they were a bit burnt. Overall it everything was great, we'll be coming back.
