Very nice restaurant on Paradeplatz in Zurich. Tradition meets modernity. Very nicely implemented. Great service, very attentive. We and our guest received excellent service and enjoyed a very tasty lunch menu. It is advisable to reserve a table. We'd love to come back.

I ate there with my daughter on your recommendation... what can I say, the previous reviews already say a lot. - Nice greeting - Homely atmosphere, although it got very loud as it filled up. - Eat good. We had guinea fowl breast on Bimi with 3 dauphine fries and a delicious sauce. Almost average prices for Zurich. Only the mineral was a bit “expensive” at 10,-Chf for 0.75l.

📝 This fancy restaurant in the center of Zurich didn't convince me entirely and I think there are various areas for improvement as you'll read below. Service was at least mostly polite. 🍴 I ordered Zürcher geschnetzeltes with rösti, which is a typical local dish. They used an enormous amount of salt and the meat was cut slightly too thick in my view: I'd expect more for the prices they charge. Also, when I asked for an IPA, I got strangely smiled at and asked "and what would that be?"... I mean, it's ok to not have IPA to sell, but you should at least know what it is if you're in this business since it's nothing ultra special. 📍 The place is only a couple of minutes away from Paradeplatz, so perfect location. The decor inside is ok, nothing spectacular. For some reason it gets super loud when the restaurant is busy, reducing a little the quality of the atmosphere.

If I could give 6 Stars, I would! Absolutely fantastic! We were there for a business dinner and they accomodated us in the top floor room, so we were in a very cozy environment. The food was just fantastic. The prices are very fair for the quality of service and food in this area of Zurich! I'll be surely back privately and for business.

This was a business event, held in a private room up many steep stairs. Gorgeous room with one of the best lighting concepts I have experienced. Cozy, flattering light but you could clearly see what was on your plate. Great service, a cheeky chappy with a sense of humour, and an amazing first course. The dish of the day was a ramen noodle soup which was very bland I am sorry to say. Best ApérolSpritz I have ever had!

A restaurant of a special kind. Price/performance ratio is absolutely top. For 154 CHF we received an excellent 5 course menu. Truffle Linguini, Surf and Surf of the extra class, asparagus with honey and a dessert from heaven. We can highly recommend this for a successful evening. And the service is absolutely top! Hello Heugümper team On Friday I was served by a very courteous gentleman and I felt very comfortable. It's nice to find such friendly and professionally competent people in the catering industry - compliments. The culinary selection was also varied and convincing. I'd love to come back!

High level place, excellent service and very tasty dishes

The Heugümper impresses with its excellent cuisine: all of the dishes served by the 8 guests were very good to excellent! The ambience is also very nice (but a bit noisy). The lady from the service was very friendly, but the personalization was rather limited given the full house. One point of criticism: If you offer a bottle of wine for three to four times the retail price (which is nothing unusual in Switzerland), at least someone in the restaurant should have some knowledge of the wines and be able to make a recommendation. We'd love to come back!

The food was really good, very balanced with fine taste. The atmosphere is charming and chic. I can totally recommend this restaurant. The prices are not cheap but it is worth it --> 5 stars However, we went there in a group where one of us has a food allergy. The first annoying thing was that the allergens are indicated insufficiently on the menu. Some, like eggs, are not indicated at all. So we asked the waiter for advice. We asked three times to be really careful about allergens contamination for a dish on the menu, such that even the cook himself assured that it is unproblematic. However, after one bite of the salad dressing, the person had an allergic reaction and needed to take medicine to prevent an anaphylactic shock. This of course kills the mood for the evening and is very upsetting since we really made clear to be careful. Aside of that, I find it a quite disappointing that the supposedly allergens-free dish was simply composed of the same amount of (very tasty!!) meat and green salad, leaving all other sides away, not offering some other side to make it a normal sized main course. At the end we got to hear a lapidar excuse me and the dish charged a full price - unacceptable for a restaurant at this price class. Summing up, I recommend the restaurant to everyone without food allergies, since the food is exceptionally good and the location is nice! For people with specific dietary requirements, however, I cannot recommend at all. Therefore, the overall rating of 2 stars.

Extremely slow service, it took 1h for the single staff to take our orders, even though we were seated upstairs in the group room. Very basic dishes from 1980 with barely any vegetarian options. Weird lights that flicker uncomfortably. In short, the kind of place where bankers go when someone else is paying.

Came for a birthday dinner celebration. We loved our appetizers which were amazing with lots of flavour. The service was above average. She was very friendly, attentive and has great wine knowledge. Upscale place near Münsterhof. Limited but varied menu. The ravioli and tuna with sashimi puree were very tasty and well presented, sitting outdoors with a nice and relaxing view on the square. Wir wurden leider sehr ünhöflich bedient. Es waren verschiedene Tische frei aber irgendwie war kein Platz recht gemäss Kellner. Ewollte uns in den Schatten setzen. Na ja wir sind dann wieder gegangen. Haben auch vernommen, dass es im Moment dort etwas Hartz.

Waren am zweiten Tag nach der Terrassenöffnung abends essen.Trotz der eher kühleren Temperaturen haben wir einen wunderschönen Abend verbracht. Pam und ihr Team haben alles daran gesetzt die Gäste mehr als nur zufrieden zu stellen. Das Essen war wunderbar, der Service exzellent (Danke auch am den tollen Marco). Man merkt, dass hier Gastronomie richtig gelebt wird. Wir kommen wieder, wenn es etwas wärmer wird. Danke nochmals für die Geburtstagsüberraschung für Ines.
