We were with you on Morgenstraich 2024. We came every year, but this time was the last time. The flour soup only tastes like water, is bland and is becoming more and more expensive. We asked for salt and pepper and received an indecent answer from a foreign employee. “There would be no spice in the house.” Yes, we noticed that. I also don't understand why people who don't understand German work for you. Disappointing. It's a shame you've delivered so much, it's getting worse and worse every year. Next year we will definitely eat our flour soup somewhere else.

I was there for the first time today. Very nice and friendly staff and a great offer for people who like sweets. There are cozy corners where you can chat over coffee.

Very fine chocolate cakes and matching cappuccino. We ordered a cocoa for our son. Real, original cocoa. The service was very friendly and competent. The selection of products is attractive and high quality. Price-wise, completely okay. The toilets very clean. We would like to come again.

Unfortunately, the employees (both) are not very friendly, and in Basel I prefer to shop in a shop where German is at least understood.

Expensive, dry croissants - go somewhere else!!

I was happy about the vouchers for my birthday. Unfortunately, I have to buy exactly for the voucher price because the remaining amount cannot be transferred to the voucher. It's a shame that such a great bakery needs this. It's no fun redeeming the remaining vouchers. The full amount was paid!

The right place to have a leisurely breakfast or a delicious snack! Many delicacies from the bakery or the confectioner are waiting for you. Here you will also find a special souvenir. In the middle of Basel, near the market square.

I was given great advice because I react to many foods. and then found what I was looking for thanks to the friendly service. The whole grain 100% spelled bread is highly recommended

Tables and chairs in the interior were partly dirty. I ordered a cappuccino with Assugrin (sweetener). The waitress has already put it in the cappuccino. I don't know how much she put into it. It was too sweet. I drank it anyway because we had to wait a little longer to order. Although it wasn't that busy. There was only one person standing in front of us and three ladies standing behind the counter. These chatter with each other instead of serving. That was the first and last visit. We won't go again.

A bit expensive, but still very good value for money due to the good quality of the products. I particularly enjoy buying “Möhnli” and olive bread here.

Veggie pie and lasagne were great choices, and with the salad bowl, a hearty lunch 😋

The pastries and cappuccinos were very good. The young waitress is very friendly and very cheerful despite the fact that we didn't always understand each other in German! 😂 We will make an effort next time by learning Swiss German. 🙂

Magnificent bakery and tea room. A beautiful set-up with beautiful products. Come and settle in the Friborg countryside by creating a branch or a franchise! That would be a good thing. Best wishes

I will miss the bread here when I leave Basel. But, one thing has to be said: the prices are high. You have to expect that when you get something here.

There are nicer cafes and such with much more ambience, without a doubt. But I like the coffee there, the Bichermüesli with quark or sometimes a vegetable pizza or a piece of cake. Also important to me is that there are daily newspapers available. This is also part of coffee and cake or a good ambience as well as attentive staff. The fact that disposable tableware (plastic) is handed out at a carnival or that products are outrageously priced up is unprofessional. On the one hand, they advertise 'organic bakery' and on the other hand, they show this behavior that is not environmentally friendly. That can only result in deductions.

This carnival evening. Ate flour soup and pizzas. Flour soup unfortunately diluted with water, pizzas too much pepper! Food used to be good and recommended, but today it's just expensive and bad. A pity!

Small but nice, nicely furnished and good service. The salty specialties such as vegetable strudel or quisch are very delicate and beautifully presented on the plate. A typical kaffii with savory and sweet baked goods. Highly recommended. One star deducted because there was no vegan alternative and no large selection of cakes and sweets.

Fine homemade iced tea. When it's hot outside, a welcome cool drink. The poppy seed rolls as I knew them from before.... mmmhhhh.

This is a supper bakery, everything is always fresh and very good here. Also the croissants, rolls, snails, breads. Very good patisserie and cakes.

I don't like the organic wheat bread at all, it's relatively small but weighs 1 kg. Not really crispy. It's heavy in my stomach.
