Bella Vista is a charming family owned property. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts hearty - with freshly baked breads - and the location is perfect. Definitely go for a Matterhorn view room. The spa is large and well served with sauna, relaxation area, infrared sauna chairs and massage appointments available (their Swedish masseuse is terrific). There are many hotel options in Zermatt - too many really - but Bella Vista is a great choice!

A family-run hotel with the utmost personal attention to the well-being of the guests. One really feels at home here! Stunning quality of the breakfast. Clean room, nice shower, tea maker. 5 min walk to Zermatt centre.

AMAZING!! Everything we wanted and more. Convenient location to slopes, restaurants, and town. Rahel & Tamara were very friendly, informative and accommodating. The spa is a real treat after a long day of skiing. Don’t miss out on the fondue served in the evening and of course the breakfast is fabulously homemade. We can’t wait to go back!

FindelnMagnificent place with a superb terrace. Nice and varied menu. Very friendly service unfortunately we waited 1 hour between the starter and the main course because they were overwhelmed in the kitchen, plus we were inside and could not enjoy the beautiful view.

RiffelalpAlexandre is a fine dining establishment located within the Riffelalp Resort, with smartly dressed and eloquent servers. Expect fine dining level of service matched with the price, with main dishes costing about CHF30 to CHF60 for ala carte. There are also courses meal for at least CHF80 per pax. Despite us being poor peasants, the staff of the restaurant were still very welcoming and treated us nicely. We ordered the potato soup, risotto and pork belly, all of them tasted superb and filling. Cost us about CHF 102 together with a milkshake. Reservation is a must, so make sure to not walk in.
