Had a great evening. Cheese fondue without alcohol. Very nice that this was possible. It was a bit flat in taste but tasty. Matching vegetables on the pricey side. Desserts were not too bad in terms of price. Have a nice evening!

On a weekend in the mountains, a fondue is a must! We didn't have time to book earlier but this posed no problem for the waiters who welcomed us warmly. The place is very nice. Several rooms with different atmospheres. The fondue was very good! The service was really very pleasant, we really enjoyed this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant and will happily return!

From the arrival, with a warm welcome and a smile, until you ask for the bill and leave the place, everything is perfect. The service is impeccable, attentive and attentive to customers at all times. The dishes are copious and very well presented. In short, a place to return and recommend.

Some of the employees understand German very poorly! We ordered mineral water and received tap water. Unfortunately, the wine was far too cold (approx. 4 degrees) and therefore had very little taste. The ambience and decor is nice. The food was ok, but lacked spice. Unfortunately the balance of taste was not there. The employees walked around the restaurant very unsteadily and sometimes without a plan. This seemed very nervous and uncomfortable.

The food was delicious. There was no alcohol added to the fondue, so I ate it plain, but it suited my taste. Even if you go according to the reservation time, there are a lot of people so the food comes out late. The venison was delicious.

It seems a little expensive, but the atmosphere is nice and I had a good time.

Because the restaurant I was going to go to was closed, I happened to see this restaurant with high scores and stepped in. The service was arrogant and every waiter didn’t know where the sense of superiority came from. The food was generally not particularly amazing. I don’t know where so many good reviews came from. This is me in Switzerland. Worst meal ever! ! !

An interesting experience. We arrived before 6pm, so the only thing on the menu was fondue. We ordered one truffle and another traditional. The truffle one is fantastic! A restaurant that we tried, but we would not repeat, because apart from the fondue it did not offer anything special

Great atmosphere, staff super friendly and not intrusive. The cheese fondue was great, but the alcohol taste was a bit too strong for my companion. For dessert we had a chocolate fondue, which was also delicious and had a good selection of fruits and sweets for dipping.

Staff made me feel very welcomed and kept checking if everything was fine. The restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere. I ordered the cheese fondue; it arrived quickly, was a good portion size and it was tasty.

I ordered a Swiss dinner party, CHF44.5 per person, with a large bowl of lettuce salad with special flavored nut sauce. The main course was classic Swiss hash browns, cheese pot, and dessert chocolate pot (with fruit dip: pineapple, banana, purple grape , marshmallows, egg pancakes), the portion is sufficient and delicious, just a little salty. The service staff kindly helped introduce how to eat the cheese pot and how to order. We happened to have an empty table for dine-in use at 6pm, so it is safer to book a table in advance.

Autumn salad was delicious and the fondue, so good!!! Our waiter was kind and attentive and steered us in the right direction as to what to order.

I ordered non-alcoholic fondue and it was perfect. The chocolate fondue tasted like the banana chocolate in front of the school that everyone expected.

I didn't have beef so I ordered venison. soft sirloin feel I ordered fondue without alcohol and it was to my taste. Switzerland is very expensive, but it's worth trying at least once.

This is simply 5 stars! In addition to a super atmospheric place in the heart of Interlaken, I found the most amazing cuisine in Switzerland. I have tasted venison in various establishments, but this one... it's something. The most tender saddle of venison with porcini mushrooms, sweet potato puree, berries and veal liver. This is the maximum pleasure. Regarding the fondue: they did not take the full portion, but what is in the appetizers for 17 euros. It includes bread, cucumber, meat, and cauliflower. When you take 2 main dishes, in my opinion, such a snack is enough for 2. But please note, if you are going to share a dish, you have to pay an additional 7.50 euros per person. A total check of 140 euros for 2 main courses, a fondue appetizer, a glass of wine and a beer

My sister and I dined here on our last night in interlanken. Don’t miss this place! This was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. We ordered the chefs special surprise 4 course meal. ORDER THE CHEFS SPECIAL SURPRISE 4 COURSE MEAL. Michelin Star service and food. Almost proposed to the chef. Would love the opportunity to eat here again.

The server in charge was really friendly. There was a very small piece of plastic on the food, so I exchanged it for a new one. I was really touched that you kept apologizing. The taste is great too Friendliness is also the best

The fondue wasn't that salty and tasteless, and the steak and potatoes were delicious. Also, when I told them there was a foreign object in my food, they immediately gave me a new meal and even provided beverage service. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

During our holiday we visited and ate in 5 city's in Switserland, but the food they serve here was the best. All i can say is, definitely go here for a delicious dinner in a beautiful restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious local Swiss cuisine. You can choose whether or not to add wine to the cheese hot pot. The way to eat it is very special. The vegetables added are also very fresh and refreshing. The waiter enthusiastically taught us how to eat it. The store is clean and warm. It is a great dinner.

I went with the chef's special and didn't know what to expect. It was a 4 course meal and the meal was soooo good, that in fact, it landed in my top 5 meals that I have ever had. This was a full gastronomic experience and met expectations that were beyond what I had expected. You don't really know what to expect when you try a chef's menu but this was absolutely phenomenal. On top of the outdoor atmosphere and service, this was the best meal during our time in Switzerland.

Food is definitely strange- weird combinations that kinda work. Wasn’t outstanding food really. Cheese fondue was not even that good.

We happened to dine here because we were staying in Hotel Interlaken. We've been to a lot of great restaurants while on our holiday and this one was unfortunately forgettable. The service was 5 star all around, but the food was just okay if not mediocre. My husband and brother in law enjoyed a 4 course tasting meal by the chef that they really liked. I ordered the classic fondue as an appetizer, and it was good, but not great. My sister ordered the chili cheese fondue and it was very good. My main dish was the beef ribeye with summer salad. Nothing about the meal stood out, very bland overall. Dessert was the best part. Chocolate fondue was fun for the kids and the chocolate was absolutely divine! If you're staying at the hotel, give it a try. If you're close by, I would skip it.

Don’t know how this place has more than 4 stars… probably the worst food I’ve ever had. Steak that looks like it was microwaved and pork chop that was dry as a rock. Tapioca with pork chop??? What a disgrace to have a tasting course on the menu

I ate cheese fondue. The bread was nice and cheese tasted wonderful. An employee named Debby was very kind. She was really sweet even though she wasn't my waiter. If it wasn't for her, my review might have been different. The male waitress who served me wasn't that good.

We had an amazing dinner as a family at the Taverne Restaurant. We were staying at the Hotel Interlaken so it was very convenient. I highly recommend the Dinner Party for two, which included a wonderful fresh salad, cheese fondue for sharing, pickled vegetables and a rosti, and chocolate fondue for dessert. It was wonderful to sit outside by the Japanese garden and our waiter was attentive and helpful.

It was a satisfactory restaurant I made a reservation and visited on a weekday evening. I think it would be a good idea to make a reservation. I ordered a set menu that included salad fondue and Rösti chocolate fondue, and it was nice to be able to enjoy very satisfying Swiss food at a reasonable price. I plan to visit next time because I want to try other menus.

Delightful meal. Really great service. Fun menu. Didn’t feel overrun with tourists, even though I imagine all of us there were visitors. Could probably share one fondue portion among two or more people if you’re ordering anything else. Chili cheese fondue was good but probably best to get the traditional. Starters were interesting and so so good.

Words can not describe the outstanding experience we had at this restaurant. The food was immaculately presented, very creative and considered menu. Quality of the food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. If you are staying in Interlacken this is a must try. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building itself was historic and beautifully maintained. Would recommend the chilli cheese fondue and the cheddar ravioli, picture attached. Enjoy!!!

Super yummy food! I recommend getting some sort of vegetables to dip into the fondue because it only comes with bread. Staff and atmosphere very pleasant!

The ratings here on google do not give this place any justice. The food here was so good! 5 stars for me. Every component of the meal from the vegetables, to the protein, to the carbs were so well made. I can’t emphasize enough how much I enjoyed this place. Plus the waiters are all very friendly, I would definitely come back again.

It's the worst The bald beard and glasses guy really has the worst service. This is the first time I feel bad after eating. We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. It's located inside of the hotel and has a beautiful dinning room with nice relaxing music and elegant ambiance. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us great recommendations on drinks. We ordered Swiss party for two which has a salad to share, a tasty cheese fondue with bread, rosti with pickled vegetables, and delicious chocolate fondue with fruits. Homemade lemonade was very good and refreshing. I think the price was fair for all of this delicious and quality food at this elegant restaurant.

Very pleasant place with good food, you'd need to venture outside of Interlaken for higher quality food, but probably one of the best places in town.

I ate spring salad, 2 beers for 500 won, added potatoes to fondue, and veal steak. I was completely full and enjoyed it! After seeing the review of the fondue, I asked to leave out the alcohol. The calf steak was soft and tender and tasted like nothing I had ever tasted before! Highly recommended!!! I recommend that you make a reservation before eating. We were lucky enough to go without a reservation and there was only one table left, but after that, about 4 teams of Koreans all left because the waiter was busy. The price wasn't bad at 113 francs. Even if I go again, I think I'll go here again! The staff are also very friendly!!

We wanted to eat local: it was successful. Local cheese fondue to die for with perfect accompaniment, quality of dishes confirmed. The staff is very pleasant, the atmosphere is warm. We leave this restaurant conquered.

Vibe was initially great. However the food took forever to arrive even though we were only one of the few occupied tables. The appetizers alone took more than 30 minutes to arrive and the entrees another 45 minutes. After finishing our meal it was near impossible to flag down our waiter. We asked for the checks 2 times and 30 minutes later did we finally get it. The food was mediocre and for its price definitely not worth it. Very rarely do I leave bad reviews but this place left me feeling frustrated and with a late night ruined.

You need a reservation to get here because it gets very busy for dinner. We only got in because there was a no-show. We ordered a truffle cheese fondue, but we couldnt taste the truffle. Better order the plain one instead. Other than that, it was super good. The bread that came with it was also super fresh, warm and the perfect pairing to the fondue. On the side, we had the celeriac soup (also great!), and the pulled beef burger (not a huge fan, the beef was quite dry and lacked flavoring). Special shout out to our waiter Philippe for making great recommendations. He even warned us about over-ordering -- so we ordered just the right amount. :) aside from him, all the other waiting staff was very friendly and well-trained. The venue is on the formal side, more like a date place, but I did see a couple of kids there. Cozy!

We spontaneously decided to have dinner in the tavern on Friday evening and were not disappointed. All dishes are freshly prepared from regional and seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere is authentically Swiss and homely. I liked the wooden cows as a table decoration, simple but funny 😊. The service was attentive, friendly and gave us good advice.

My brother says something. 23/3/31 Order a cheese fondue and a steak. Don't add potatoes. I think the two of us will be full and the price is very cheap. If you order just one water, they keep refilling it. If you come to Switzerland and want to eat fondue, I recommend trying it here.

I had fondue, veal steak, vivi cola, and a glass of wine. The old menu said there was an additional charge for sharing dishes, but the latest menu doesn't have that information.

Ate a delicious cheese truffle fondue. The side dishes, the starter and the wine were also simply delicious. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

I booked a few days ahead asking for the vegan fondue. I arrived to be taken to my preprepared table with the fondue equipment ready to go. This was well presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely welcoming and ensured this was a special meal for my last evening in Switzerland and my expectations were exceeded.

Very cozy location, tables are not pressed together, which makes the visit really feel good.

I had steak and fondue, and I had a wine recommendation and it was really delicious. If you make a reservation, they will guide you right away. It was really delicious. The steak melted in your mouth. Definitely eat it!!
