From the minute we stepped into this restaurant we should have guessed how bad it would be. Instead of welcoming us, we were asked if we wanted "a real breakfast or just coffee". Should have stepped out straight away. We said we were really hungry so we asked for the menu. They brought us a list which only included omelette and scrambled eggs. They were particularly unwilling to prepare anything else for us and they suggested we use the buffet breakfast instead. In the end we were offered an "imaginary" breakfast instead of a real one. The portions were so tiny we thought they were pulling a joke on us. The omelette and scrambled eggs could easily fit in an espresso plate. The hot chocolate was in fact cold. We talked to a lady that seemed to be the owner of the place and she treated us with a fair bit of arrogance. She was both disrespectful and patronizing. The only good thing about this restaurant was the waiter who was very apologetic and very helpful. He felt so embarrassed that he even offered to buy us breakfast. I ended up paying 18 CHF for a cup of tea and a half scrambled egg. Don't know what their lunch or dinner looks like but I would certainly not walk in that place ever again. There are hundreds of better places in Zermatt!

Really hit the spot after a morning of awesome skiing. considering we spent £30 each on a burger, chips and beer, it shouldn't have been too much to fill our water bottles with tap water. Instead they told us we had to fill our bottles in the toilet!

I stayed here for three days and I totally loved the experience. Cozy rooms with beautiful views, good food and service.

Obwohl alle Fleischstücke "medium" oder "medium-rare" gebraten bestellt wurden, war das Huftstück ganz durchgebraten und trocken. Vorher gab es ein Riesendurcheinander, weil zwei Bestellungen verwechselt wurden. Sowohl die Chefin wie auch der Koch wurden herbeigezogen, wobei niemand eine Ahnung zu haben schien. Auf die Beilagen musste wiederum viel zu lange gewartet werden. Die Gemüsebeilagen waren nicht der Rede wert und lieblos auf dem Teller arrangiert. Alle sechs bekamen wir nicht, was wir bestellt hatten und gingen total enttäuscht aus dem Lokal. Die Serviertochter ist arrogant und der Koch scheint keine Ahnung vom Kochen oder Grillieren von Fleisch zu haben. Da werden wir bestimmt nie mehr einkehren!

I've been to this hotel for one time and i stayed there for 3 days. I did really enjoy the time when i was there, the service the was perfect and food as well! And there got wifi for free(also pretty fast). The most important reason I would suggest others to stay there is that the hotel is very close to train station and the main market as well. If you wanna do some skating, there is also very easy to get the bus or train to the mountain. Anyway ,if you got the chance to visit Zermatt, just stay in is hotel, you well feel very comfortable for sure.
