Hummus Abu - Tscha'Tschi in Zürich

Stupendous food. I thought I liked hummus, pita, and falafel, but this place puts all that I've had in the past to shame. Pita was so soft and fresh and delicious. Never had pita like this. Hummus was very flavorful and loved all the toppings. Falafel was out of this world. Moist yet crispy. Portions were huge and price is very fair. This place is on my must visit list now for every time I come to Zurich.

Das ist der *einzige* Ort aucher von Israel, an dem ich Hummus und Sabich bekommen habe, das wirklich so schmeckt, wie es schmecken muss! Komplett was anderes als das, was man sonst so bekommt. Unglaublich lecker und sehr nettes Team! This is the only place outside of Israel where I got hummus and sabih that really tastes like it should! Completely different from what you usually get here. Insanely delicious and very nice staff!

I really liked the mushroom hummus and the falafel. The green sauce was unbelievably flavorful and the falafel was super fresh and crispy. Pitas were steamed and Hot. The menu here is simple, limited, and vegetarian. But everything they do, is done very well.

Mouth watering Hummus, served by warm hearted people and making everyone feel welcome. Top!

I usually think falafel is very dry. Not in this instance, super juicy and crispy and full of flavor. Definitely recommend a stop here

Finally, an original homemade Hummus taste in Zurich ! Honestly, it is the best hummus and falafel I ever ate in Switzerland. Comes with fresh homemade pitas and toppings for your own choice, and it's all vegetarian. The staff are so nice and welcoming. I would definitely come again !

It’s was an amazing experience, I have never ate such an amazing hummus like this, very authentic!

Same compatriots = great favoritism and that's not so fair to others. Food absolutely TOP! fresh, fine, tasteful and nothing to complain about. Falafel + Hummus Original ordered - 4 stars! Communication with the customer and service (maybe only that day) disaster... I was ''served'' by a lady. Firstly, she had to ask me about 4 times what I ordered (even though that was already given with the chips). Then she forgot the falafel. Then there was the fact that there were no more pitas according to the staff, even though there was one last one When I asked if I could have one, they completely ignored me. In the end, they gave the last pita to a gentleman who came 3 orders after me and only because they knew each other. In general, gave preference to the people you knew and made portions that were about twice as big as the other guests, which just isn't fair.

Decent hummus. I’ve had better but I also had far worse, and the guys serving are super nice! Delicious green sauce with it, and fresh pitas. The basic hummus costs 15chf and comes with 2 pita breads. Expensive for me, but I guess it’s fair for Zurich price. —- Edit to answer the question: the hummus was for me too blunt in taste. With the sauces and parsley on top it was very nice, but when I reached the bottom of the bowl it became too even. No sour, no salt, no spice.

The only real hummus in town! If you want the authentic hummus experience you must pay a visit here. They are super friendly and also catered for an external event we had: I can whole heartedly recommend Hummus Abu Tscha'Tschi!

Great hummus from even greater people! A must for all the real hummus lovers who have missed this hearty meal in Zürich. The search is over. The portions are tasty, fresh and most importantly served warm. The great pita makes the whole experience perfect. I take my hat from the great Abu Tscha‘Tschi and his son who have finally brought Hummus to Zürich.

I've eaten a lot of hummus in my life, but this is the best! Their falafel is also excellent. Looking forward to returning to Zurich to eat there again!
