Hungky in Genève

Very good beef noodles! Tried the tofu which is also good but can do a bit more seasoning for a more Asian flavor. In general food is good!

Food poisoning- we were terribly ill for 3 days after eating from this place, which ruined the end of our holiday. The food was not fresh the place was unhygienic, one of the chefs didn’t even wash his hands after using the toilet. Tells you everything 🤢 not usually one for leaving reviews like this but I would rate it lower if I could. Please do better for future customers, especially with your high prices.

Foods are decent overall but the servie is poor. Room for improvement. Neverthelss, we shouldn’t expect a good service at Chinese places.

I ate there a few times snd it was always good. Unfortunately last time something was wrong and instead of leaving food as it is I ate it:( i had a soup where was pinapple. It tasted strange, no sweet taste, more like salty? Im guessing now itcwas stored too long. Than i had a chicken and there was very strange taste of seefood sauce:( I was hungry and ate it even if there were clear red flags. Had (and still have) minor food poisoning:( service was very, very nice, i hope it was just some incident as itcwas first time. Word of advice - if food tastes strange - do not eat it.

The food is okay. The service is very disappointing.

More than 70 minutes late for 2 ordered dishes. The lady on the phone spoke poorly. The food was mediocre because it arrived super cold especially the beef noodles.

Excellent restaurant. They specially switched my dish because the salt content was too high for me. The new dish was really tasty and very filling. The prices are also very competitive!

The service is rude, specially the woman today dec23, 2023 at 18h30 with my friends we are not yet finish asking for our order she is leaving already. Every table she is giving/ serving peanuts except our table . We order soup but she said we don’t, we ask 3 bottled water she give only 2. We ordered rice she serve after we keep repeating 6x . Never 👎 again. FOOD IS GOOD BUT SERVICE IS RUDE THEIR VOICE I SO LOUD

The food suits me, there are many dishes without rice to share with several people. On the other hand, the noise of the storage of metal cutlery, the noise of the storage of glass bottles and others continues when we eat, bothers me.

Peking duck: 50% of the dish is made up of bones..... So inedible Table that is not cleaned for the new customer....

Got the beef dish with rice, it was average. There was a bird flying around inside the restaurant.

I find this restaurant incredible for cheap, I eat well and the dishes are good.

First and last time. Poor service by I imagine the owner, no sense of interpersonal skills. He takes all the time in the world to come back and take our order, remaining in his corner sitting on a table. I was served the noodles with a spoon 🙂 a handful of salt in the noodles. No taste no flavor. They didn't bother to ask us how the meal went either. This restaurant could have potential but the service is an absolute joke and the food is bland and not freshly prepared (frozen)

Hungky is my favorite restaurant in all of Geneva. I have known this restaurant since 2018. I have known Hungky in all seasons. The cuisine is exquisite. I always had the Tom Kar Kai soup, which is a Thai staple and my favorite. As Hungky makes this Thai soup, I don't find anything else that tastes the same as Hungky's. The caramel chicken is tasty. Best restaurant in all of Geneva!!!

Friendly staff and yummy food but the floor and stairs downstairs is very slippery. Not closing in the afternoon is a big plus!

Best price in Geneva for a 50cl beer I found whilst visiting At 6.50chf. food was probably reheated at a guess as it was on the table 5mins after ordering, rice was very dry and food Luke warm. I expected fresh rice to be hot and moist. I would not go back here

Since its creation I have been eating here and I must say that I am as satisfied despite the substantial increase in dishes which means that I go there a little less often but always with pleasure.

I took delivery from just eat, it’s a real shame because you can add special requests, such as without onions etc. I placed my order specifying no onions, no peppers and no chili. My beef fried noodles arrived with everything I asked to be removed and my crispy beef was drowned in chili sauce. In order not to throw away I had to sort everything for my noodles and peck my pieces of beef on top. On just eat there is no composition of the dishes, if necessary they could inform that for certain dishes it is not modifiable. I paid by card with a tip for the delivery person, don't do it, they don't receive tips by card 😡😡😡 Just cash for the delivery man. That's just eat.

I went on vacation to Genevé and I found this Chinese cuisine place, very good quality cuisine, abundant and delicious. The atmosphere is massive because it is located in the center of the city and the tables are at street level.

The meal was prepared quickly and was yummy but the noodles tasted refried. The portions are generous.

I've been ordering Singapore-style vermicelli at Hungky for years, a dish I enjoy and often order at other restaurants and in other cities and countries as well. And this is where it is the best (and far from being the most expensive). I highly recommend it !

On Monday 14 august arround 19:50 had an issue for the second time with the same rude Chinese waitress. Last week I went there with a friend and this horrible waitress came to our table and with out saying hello or nothing she just literally drop the menús at our table in a very agressive way. My friend complained about her to an other server and of course we didnt left any tips for her. I'm a customer of this place from 8 years ago, since the restaurant was at the other location at Paquis, today I was dinning alone there and arround 19h50, same rude and ignorant woman where super nasty to me again. I had told to the Portuguese nice waiter that I know from many years at the restaurant, that it was really hot, so he set a fan in my table's direction. This nasty woman took it away, then I put it back where it was, then she took it away again even when an other server argued with her that she should leave it where it was..then she started arguing with me and the other server with very bad and low manners, shouting infront all customers, after that I decided to leave even when I didnt eat my food, I pay my bill at the bar and when I where leaving, this woman even try to make fun of me, telling me that she was sorry at the same time she was laughing. I just would like to get my issue to the owner of the restaurant and tell him that this person have not the Intelligence and capacity to face public and is making the place loose customers. Im really upset to be treated like that for such this ridículos person who work there.I asked for a manager to talk about the issue but the staff told me that the manager where not there at that moment. I will miss the restaurant that is one of my favorites and will miss the rest of the staff that is really nice, frienly and profetional.

Everyone has complained about your restaurant since the change of ownership and that the food is not good frozen and heated in the microwave and full of gluten, plus your prices have increased enormously, almost to the point that it is no use. nothing to come to your home especially for processed and frozen food. Your employees seem dishonest. This is really a shame, I ordered a lot from you at the time and I am really extremely disappointed. The day you put everything back in order with good employees, good food and affordable prices I will change my rating and I will come back

Service is rude and truly awful. We were already seated (inside) and the waiter arrived and asked us rudely (tone and mannerism) to move from one table to another. We explained we preferred our original table due to the fan (the only one) being nearby. She did not listen and hushed us to move to the farther corner. I was seated and she physically went to my back to open a door on the wall and turn on the lights. I had to move as I was physically in her way to do it. There could be a language barrier perhaps but she definitely seem she was bothered by us, which is worrisome. There was a young lady that wanted to listen to us and the manager seemed confused about the whole situation. We do not recommend this place if you want to have a nice meal with good service. The food looks may be good but not worthy the experience. Hope with this review they listen and get better at treating people specially tourists trying their food.

Best Chinese restaurant in Geneva! Traditional dishes, very friendly and involved servers, a great terrace for the summer. I recommend the fish with pine nuts, absolutely killer, and the homemade cold lychee tea

Good service, appropriate prices and better than other places, quick service… somewhat crowded (precisely because of how delicious!!) the food is worth it (even if it is full!!!)

Unfortunately not good, the food is bland even the plain rice is not good no effort in the kitchen and mediocre service we don't give change there, count your money carefully.

the duck dish was good. the skin was crespy but.. it was partially salty. beef with black bean sauce No.72 menu was very good. Other than that all the menus were soso. The service was terrible we had to call the person 3 times until he came by. also one of the menu was not ordered so we need to tell them again.

Just a little hungry after a day spent at the Book Fair and before sleeping in a hotel in the station area. So I had a small starter: a small and delicious ravioli soup and this rather delicious dessert for the sweet conclusion: the glazed donut 😋 great service, good atmosphere and top cuisine 👌

Great food, service was fast even when the place was packed!

Chinese food that reminded me of home. Ate here 2 nights in a row it was that good. The flat noodles with prawns had the taste only a hot wok can achieve. The prawns were fresh and the taste was so familiar to me (what I would expect from the best chinese in Sydney's chinatown). The second night I had the 2 roast measts with noodle soup. The roast pork and roast duck, again, were 100% on point. The stock for the noodle soup was delicious and I could not fault it. First time to Geneva so I was not expecting really good chinese.

Decent cuisine, there is good and less good, attractive prices, very appetizing menu with special dishes which are a change from the Chinese who are currently riding the spicy oil & chili wave. Service to improve a little, tight, noisy atmosphere. I think it must be much more pleasant to eat at their place outside of peak hours, they are open non-stop.

We are used to eating there, ordering, or having it delivered by this restaurant and we really like the dishes they offer for a very attractive price. However, we stopped eating there as the welcome was not there. Unpleasant waitress, stressed, it even seems like we're bothering them. Likewise for ordering to take away, we can wait a long time before being served while our dishes wait on the side. As for delivery, we have already forgotten our order and had the wrong address on two different occasions, today we ordered and after an hour we asked for news so as not to reproduce the same thing as the last times, the reception tells us that the order should arrive within minutes… 20 minutes later we call back and receive the same answer. We were delivered an hour and a half after placing the order. Not being the first time we are not surprised, however what is disturbing is to have cold food, a nonchalant delivery man barely opened the door before he left without almost saying hello. No apology from the telephone operator or the delivery man, which is quite absurd. Very unfortunate for a restaurant that has everything to please

Restaurant in the center of Geneva a few minutes from the central train station. Very good food, but the service was a little slow when it came to taking our orders.

Qualitative and tasty cuisine! Very good value for money

Had dinner here with family. I reserved a table in advance and it was almost full at night. "Stir-fried water spinach" is very popular with family members, and the merchants specially make it spicy-free for children. The roast duck and roast pork in the "double combination" both taste good. The salted fish and eggplant stew and the braised pork with pickled vegetables were very good, but they were too salty for the taste we are used to. I will ask the store to use less salt next time I order these. Overall it's very authentic, highly recommended.

Great food. My issue is with the delivery tme. I placed an order at 6.02 pm (opening of your restaurant) in order to receive my order without delay and for once on time. Still 45 minutes of delay. received my order at 7.30 instead of 6.45 !!!! Therefore, my understanding is that you are never able to deliver within 45 minutes (normal delivery time) but always with serious delays.... These delays are continous and it is starting to become somehow annoying! However, you have great food and delicious. Please kindly work on the logistics for delivering on time!

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant located in the centre of Geneva. There is a good selection of dishes. We enjoyed the roast duck and pork as well as the hot and sour soup and stir fried vegetables in garlic. Service was friendly and efficient. While it was busy, there was a very warm atmosphere with diners enjoying their meals.

Very close to the geneva hb train station, nearby mcd. Lunch Beef szechuan rice was so good with tender beef that i came back for dinner shrimp fried rice which was equally good. Price is reasonable for switz standard and loves the deco. Restaurant was packed during dinner which showed it got good record.
