Sleeping in an Iglu is certainly an experience. Stupidly, I expected it to be warmer. Should have condidered the walls are hard packed snow. Fine inside a sleeping bag, but a hat would have helped

Went early February 2024, overnight stay. Great experience to try at least once. Try to go when the sky is clear for the best view of the stars at night. Also, avoid busy weekends, so you have longer in the sauna and jacuzzi. The negative part was the Fondue unless you like lactose-free cheese. It was rather tasteless.

We had booked the Fondue Delux package for lunch. Unfortunately, the service you received was not commensurate with the price, so it was very poor value for money. Unfortunately, the cuisine wasn't good either, you couldn't drink the wine, the glasses and dishes still had traces of use in front of us and the fondue quickly got cold and was pretty rubbery. However, the staff was friendly and tried to make the best of the situation. Unfortunately, this expensive experience will not be remembered positively.

We had an unforgettable night in the Igloo Village Gstaad and can only recommend it! You will be sent a great checklist with all the information including arrival information and packing list. It is of course cold in the igloo, so you have to dress warmly - even at night. But there are plenty of ways to warm up: snowshoeing, a whirlpool, a sauna or in a small hut with seating. It was also a culinary experience and an absolute highlight for us! Of course, a special thank you goes to the staff, who were very nice and helpful!

Just wow''. What a mega igloo experience. The whole package was perfect. The starry sky and fresh powder snow was the icing on the cake. All carers were fully motivated and were always concerned about our well-being. Thanks.

Worst night of my life. Due to global warming, the igloos are cooled to -18 degrees to prevent them from melting. No equipment provided to keep warm. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. All the guests left with the first bin the next morning.

Located right on the slopes and easy to reach with the gondola lift. The welcome was very warm and the service was also friendly. I've never had a fondue as good as today. A huge thank you to the team, it was really nice working with you. Luckily the sun was at its best and we were able to enjoy the great panorama

That’s an experience! Too cold for me, but still amazing! The staff is awesome and they made the stay so nice! We were warm at night, but still not the most comfortable way to spend the evening, but worth the experience!

We had booked a “full moon fondue”. Fondue was delicious, but it only came with bread. There was no music playing, the seats were uncomfortable, etc. After 25 minutes we left again. It was interesting to see the igloo and the ice sculptures once, but I probably won't see it again. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Very great, right next to the slopes. The fondue was very tasty and the reception was very friendly and accommodating. Be careful, it is relatively cold in the igloos. I wasn't dressed warm enough. However, luckily we were offered blankets.

Good and customer friendly place!

We had a very nice stay with a Fondue Delux. Incredibly nice and attentive service! Unfortunately the fondue was a bit "rubbery" and didn't get really warm. Still a stay worth it.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour essayer de manger quelque chose en cette période de Covid où les restaurants sont fermés et mal nous en a pris de choisir celui-ci ! La seule chose disponible à part les chips était la saucisse de Lucerne. Une infamie sans nom qui m'a rendue malade moi et mon épouse dès la nuit et qui a bousillé ma journée de ski le lendemain, jusqu'à en vomir. Donc, une paire de petites saucisses hyper grasses et qui suintent l'huile. Je n'aurais jamais dû la terminer et prendre exemple sur mon épouse... ce n'est pourtant pas compliquer de faire une saucisse de veau ou même de porc de qualité, surtout pour les CH 12.--- que j'ai payé par personne ! Pour moi plus jamais dans cet établissement !!!

Ich kannte so Igludörfer nur aus Prospekten. Wir konnten eine Besichtigung machen und waren total fasziniert.

Da es sich auch um ein kleines Hotel handelt, besteht der Hauptzweck eindeutig darin, einen "Gl hwein" in der Mitte der Piste zu haben - schön - check it out

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour une pose boisson entre deux pistes. Rien à voir, rien à faire, de plus, le personnel n'est ni accueillant, ni chaleureux ; même obtenir un coca fut difficile... Bref, aucun intérêt.

Wir nahmen die Nacht Fondue Ausflug. Wir wurden am Bahnhof Rotenboden von einem rührigen Führungsbeamten empfangen, der ziemlich enttäuscht war, dass französischsprachige Menschen in der Gruppe waren. Sie beklagte, dass sie nicht verstand, warum es so schwer für die Leute war, ihren Anweisungen zu folgen (der Verdacht, dass sie nur auf Englisch angeboten wurden, war vielleicht ein Teil davon). Das Igloo selbst war nett und der Sänger Gitarrist war angenehm. Der Führer ging von Tisch zu Tisch und wies darauf hin, dass die heißen Getränke an der Eisbar nur für Gäste des Hotels bestimmt waren und es ihnen verboten wurde, sie mitzunehmen. Nach einer Tour durch das Dorf wurden wir zurückmarschiert, wieder mit einem schreienden Reiseleiter, der die Gäste auf Englisch anrief, um auf der präparierten Piste zu bleiben, was für die asiatischen oder frankophonen Gäste wahrscheinlich nicht leicht zu verstehen war. Der Backup-Guide, der der Gruppe folgte, war großartig. Alles in allem war es eine interessante Erfahrung, aber vielleicht wäre die Gastgeberin besser in einem Gefängnis oder einer Militärkaserne als in einem Iglu-Hotel / Restaurant.

Merita sostare in questo rifugio-iglu sia per la posizione che per la struttura dello stesso. Per quanto riguarda il cibo non ne vale granchè la pena, oltre al prezzo c'è poca scelta; soprattutto se si è italiani e si è abituati ai piatti tipici "dello sciatore"....

Wir kamen mittags Fondue und besuchen Sie die iglu-dorf. Das Personal ist nicht sehr einladend, keine Toiletten stehen zur Verfügung auf der Website und das Personal sagte nur, dass " Natur ist ein WC " wir können also tun es im Schnee. . . Gut. . .Das Fondue ist schrecklich (sehr billig Käse) und das Brot war hart (vielleicht eine Woche alt? ! ) . . . . . . . . . . . .Es ist eine Schande für ein so schönes Hotel nach Zermatt, aber verschwenden Sie nicht Ihre Zeit und Ihr Geld!
