I had fish & chips, I was a little disappointed, for me they were more fish crispy, but otherwise good. My companion found your menu great like the others.

Always good food and good people! When I have free time Restaurant Victoria is my favorite place to go eating. The steak with french fries is a must! The waiters are always friendly and nice and are from all over the world, Italian, Argentine and Swizz! I really appreciate and recommend 🤗😉

Without reservation, welcoming and accommodating with a baby. Fast and efficient. Well put. Lots of Roestis to choose from and children's menu.

We visited this restaurant around 1 pm during the low season (November 11) and got in without the need for a reservation as the restaurant was not busy. The food was delicious. My wife had the pork schnitzel and I had the vegetarian Bruno Rosti (which was the best rosti I have had while in Switzerland and I have had a few). The portion sizes were large, so bring your hungry. The applestrudel dessert was also excellent. The menu was quite extensive with many options. The service was wonderful. Olga took excellent care of us, making sure we had everything we needed just when we needed it, for example, another glass of wine. Language is not a problem here - Olga spoke excellent English, French, and Swiss German, at a minimum. Overall, a very good choice in Gstaad with great food at a reasonable price.

The lunch set menu is very good for the money, 20 CHF, Rösti had a good flavor but was not crispy at all, the veal sausage was very average quality, so as the sauce.

Starter without any flavor with shrimp that seem to have come out of the freezer. You dare to serve frozen fries...a shame for the price when it would be so simple to offer fresh homemade fries. I do not recommend this restaurant. absence of smiles and friendliness from the servers.

Old establishment, catastrophic starter with shrimp that seem to be thawed. The 4 cheese pizza is okay. Service to be reviewed, extremely slow and few smiles. I recommend the restaurant at the Rainbow Hotel which is in the area, a real gem of freshness.

Perfect restaurant as a worker for midday meals, the waiters and waitresses are smiling and efficient, daily menu at 20CHF for a soup or salad and a main course (around 30CHF with 1 drink and a coffee, more than adequate quantity)

Worst reception I've ever had. The old service simply threw us out of the way and behaved disrespectfully, there were eight of us there. At least the blonde service woman tried to do her job well.

We have visited the Victoria many times, which proves that it has never disappointed us in the culinary sense. Worth highlighting is the lunch menu, which was tasty and more than enough in quantity. With soup, salad and main course we went home still with full stomachs. However, since there are always enough service staff available, the service here takes quite a long time for my taste.

Their policy requires you to have a mandatory dish. There are no dipping dishes except pizza, and if you do not finish all of it, you pay a fine of 9 francs for each dish. I have not eaten at their place, and I do not like those who impose conditions. I rated a star on their policy.

Service not too bad. It's more of a bistro than a restaurant actually. Clean toilets, fairly quick service whether to be served or to pay. Not bad, but not crazy either. It's a good help but it won't be the best experience of your life. Avoid if you can, otherwise too bad.

A restaurant where you get the impression that the bare minimum is being done. But nothing more. The service is friendly and makes an effort. The food is okay, but that's about it. All in all, you're left with an impression that will keep you from returning to the Victoria again.

Went there ordered mozzarella salad with cherry tomato and onion soup which was ok but the pizza is no where near a margarita pizza the cheese tasted very weird taste will not come back again nor recommend it

Very fresh green salad, but very “Maggi” sauce, it’s true that we are in German Switzerland 😉. Very tender steak and cooked according to my request (blue). The menu is clear with english titles and vegi sign for the dishes. I ordered the vegi soup and it was very tasty along with the vegi pizza.. sure I will visit again. Good luck

We were a group of 9 people and were served very friendly and quickly. The food was wonderful! So that we could catch our train, the kitchen crew conjured up our desserts on the table in no time! We would like to come again!

On Promenade, a good address: traditional, Swiss menu, and moderate prices. There are lots of Swiss locals who like to come and have a drink here. I ate a good onion soup and “half and half” fondue. The cheese has a very good, natural taste. “Open” wines much cheaper than bottles but, in fact, served in closed bottles... I recommend this good address. September 2020 update: Hunting Menu, which smells of local cuisine!

Large selection of rösti, unfortunately the menu had run out, it was because of the menu board that we went to this restaurant in the first place, a bit of a long wait - but the rösti was fresh!

The food is just acceptable...the staff is barely friendly, and when paying they tell you that they accept euros but give you change in Swiss Francs without taking into account the difference in value between the 2 currencies. .. (1 CHF = 1€) they must make more money thanks to this than thanks to their cooking... be careful, scam in town... I advise against it

We had a nice evening there even though the dishes tended to have a little too much salt in them. However the staff was efficient and the prices were correct. Disappointed that we had to pay for tap water though. Good global impression

The service was just terrible I was shocked . the waitor was extremely rude and unprofessional, displaying rude gestures and irritation when we asked him simple questions regarding the food. As I came with a group of Asians, I have reason to believe this attack was racially motivated. He was far more patient with the Caucasian customers around us. When we asked if we could have the food earlier since we were busy, the waitor simply declined and said it would take 30 minutes which is exaggerated. I was not taken seriously here. Moreover, this is one of the only restaurants in Switzerland that charges money for tap water. Simply put, don't eat here.
