Top! Really good food, can't fault it. I have personally never experienced such excellent service. We celebrated a big birthday there for the 6th. In addition to the dessert at the end, there was also a small cake with a candle and a small souvenir from the chef, who also welcomed the guests at the end of the evening. The service made me smile and happy. The restaurant is very elegant and chic but without the atmosphere being stiff. Gladly again!

Everything was very good that evening. The food was of the best quality and tasted excellent (turbot, scallop and sea bass were sensational). We had the 8 course menu. All courses tasted great. The recommended wine (fantastic wine list) was top. The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly and accommodating. We had a very nice evening.

We had a culinary high in this wonderful restaurant. Very good select wines and the freshly prepared food was a treat for the palate. Lovingly pampered by the staff. We will be back, thank you very much for the kitchen. Anne & Helene

We had booked at very short notice and unfortunately arrived too late, but we were still greeted in a very friendly manner and the kitchen conjured up a few great courses for us. The wine and champagne menu is well stocked. The sommelier and service team are very well trained and very, very friendly. The kitchen conjures up magic at a high level and with a particularly fresh taste. Thanks to the kitchen team and thanks again for the nice conversation with the chef. When we are back in Basel, the Ackermannshof will be set. Thanks for everything 🤩

The presentation, service and taste of the food are excellent. The prices are high but it is an experience. The ambiance of the location is less and very disappointing considering the price you pay.

I had an unforgettable birthday at the Ackermannshof (also happy birthday to Eveline Tischauser). I can only praise the staff, be it in the kitchen or in service. We all had a lovely evening. Our 2nd visit: Food absolutely top. Unfortunately, the service quality can't quite keep up. Wine (wine accompaniment) was sometimes only refilled upon request. Unfortunately, the water glass remained empty for too long. Small things, but perfection can be expected at this price level. A real faux pas: Based on the reservation and confirmation, service was informed that we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary that day. - Unfortunately there was no congratulations or any other reaction from the staff. A real missed opportunity!

Don't eat something special that you couldn't eat anywhere else. man has to ask for wine, dessert and coffee himself

An excellent address in Basel - from the top service to the stunning food to the upscale but cozy ambience, everything was perfect. Every single one of the courses was creative, surprising and the menu will stay with us for a long time. Particularly noteworthy: the veal milk and pumpkin puree in the main course as well as the risotto with fried scallops, bacon and sweet plums. And you could have fallen for the dessert (rum reduction, hazelnuts and figs with tonka bean ice cream)!

Super casual fine dining restaurant in the heart of Basel. Very tasty and innovative tasting menu. Wine accompaniment is perfectly matched to the menu and the service rounds everything off with great attention to detail.

Exclusive ambience, beautiful location! Unfortunately the drinks at the bar are only enough! The service generally seems overloaded as the bar staff also serve the restaurant guests. The exclusive champagne selection would be worth a repeat visit, but the cocktails not so much.

Unfortunately, the bartender was not experienced in preparing the cocktails. He had to read everything and it tasted accordingly. The hazelnuts were great, as was the ambience.

A great surprise menu and a team in the restaurant that was always extremely friendly and competent gave us an evening that we will not forget. We got to know Flavio Fermi as a good-humored, friendly person who simply enjoys his work - probably one of the reasons for his success.

Absolutely unique experience in Basel. The cooking is outstanding as expected, so what makes it truly special is the service- you feel welcomed from the first second and the entire evening is pure pleasure. We hope to go again soon.

Courteous service. Each course is introduced and explained. The food is very good. There is only one predetermined multi-course menu. It consists of 4 courses and can then be expanded to include additional courses such as cheese or dessert if desired. The respective courses are individually adapted to the needs and wishes of each guest.

We were welcomed by the team at Ackermannshof with a level of hospitality that makes dining out truly a worth while experience. The food is visually enticing, and the curation of flavors are exceptionally delightful. The wine selections, and spirits are well researched and justly compliments the quality of the cuisine. From the chef's recommendations, to the server's elegant and knowledgeable level of service - we were more than impressed and immediately trusted that they understood our needs. I sincerely look forward to dining here again, and discover the menu in greater depths with the restaurant's well curated design furniture and ambience. This team is world class. The cuisine is wonderfully creative, ultra tasty, explosive in taste, simply top notch. The service leaves nothing to be desired and is very friendly.
