I love shopping here. I always find things I need. The staff is friendly. Today I bought candy (high price and they were expired for more than 10 days. That doesn't seem right to me.

Overall it is a good place for Indian cuisine. Salespeople are courteous. Only thing which I was not satisfied is the minimum limit of 15 CHF if you want to pay by card. It is not always convenient to pay in cash as you may not be able to carry cash every where especially if you are visiting for short duration to Zurich.

Today I went Art of food first time and I bought the Jaggery cubes and when I opened the box I saw they were expired in August 2023.Even they didn't write anything that it is expired etc. Why they are selling out of date products, I think it's not legal. Never recommend them.

Heart follows your stomach. Relish every dish I cook and eat with authentic and traditional items I find here. I also give my favourite sauses, spices and pickles from this shop to many of my Swiss friends and they love it. One of the best Indian food stores in Zürich, very accessible via train from Oerlikon, or via tram as well. The spread of everything from snacks to fresh vegetables is very extensive and the prices are decent for Swiss standards. Must need for any Indians living in and around Zürich for affordable Indian goods.

We often go to the art of food for vegetables and groceries. They stand quite rightly for the name of their store. We always find typical Indian vegetables in good shape there. Almost every single thing an Indian needs while staying abroad can be found here. The owner and the staff are very well-behaved and considerate.

Had multiple times billed twice or continued the billing from the person before you (with out closing register for the prev bill) . Be Very Very careful with the bill. Read it carefully before u leave counter.

We like the shop very much on many ways :). It's spacious and at the same time with lots of different items to buy giving a feel that we miss hardly any from India (we come from Tamilnadu). Vegetables are fresh and we could find all we need. The choice of name 'Art of Food' very much resembles the store. Snacks are another level with variety. And the one which we don't get anywhere else is also here on weekly basis, our favourite goat meat :). Most importantly, Staff are welcoming and we are glad overall.

Nearby Grocery shop..will get all vegetables but sometimes older one. Please be polite with customers. Please do not buy noodles from stalls on Sat ...it was smelly and when asked them they got responded rudely. Otherwise we don't have options to buy regular indian things so.. Looking forward to improve the attitude towards welcoming customers and respond with smile.

I have been a regular customer for the store for last 2 years. Store offers excellent range of Indian products and superb quality. Especially they provide Goat meat every week, which is difficult to find elsewhere in Zurich. Goat meat provided is fresh and of very good quality. I typically don’t write reviews but I saw a review from someone on goat meat and questioning its quality. I personally vouch that the store owner is very cautious on customer satisfaction and keeps asking customers on the feedback and take necessary steps. Personally I am very satisfied and recommend the store and it’s products to all. One of the best in Zurich.

Great place with good variety of Indian vegetables and a lot of varied Indian food items. Place is cramped though so choose your arrival times, judicially. Please do note that they do sell expired items as well. We didn't notice it and bought a Patanjali Anardana Goli bottle yesterday (7th Jan 2023) while the expiry date was Dec 2022. So do check the expiry dates of the items. Also request the shop to not sell expired items.

PLEASE PLEASE be aware that what you might be purchasing is not "goat meat". Better to buy in other stores if possible. Edit: I recently bought "goat meat" here, but turned out that this is not "goat meat" but something else. My guess is it is "Lamb meat", it could be beef as well. I bought "goat meat" for about 4 times here, but the 4th time it was definitely not "goat meat". I lost trust after calling the store multiple times about this. [Rated 5-star before] Good grocery store to get Indian brands. Mtr foods, Priya pickles, fresh goat meat available here. Very friendly staff.

Really nice place with good selection of fresh produce (mangoes, gooseberries, okras, herbs etc.), frozen stuff, instant meals (dals, curries etc), and everything else. The staff could smile a bit more, as the store is always full of customers, but all good otherwise!

It was one of those days when I was craving for some Indian snacks like Sev Puri or Bhel Puri. Unfortunately there are not many options to have these snacks on the go in and around Oerlikon. So I thought I could make these snacks myself and entered this shop. The lady was very helpful in explaining what ingredients I would need and how to make these snacks. We've already agreed that I would pass by with further Indian dishes for which she shall tell me the necessary ingredients. Highly recommended shop for Indian food.

Has most of the Indian kitchen essentials (spices, snacks, finger food, frozen food, etc). Best part is freshly made snacks (kachori, vada pav, idli sambar, etc). Although, you need to go in the morning to get any of it, they're mostly finished by 2pm.

It is a good place for Indian grocery and spices.. Staff is very good... Place is a bit smaller but still has a lot of options to choose from. They also sell freshly made Idly Samosa Kachori.. liked them.. This is my regular outlet for Indian stock. Would defenitely recommend this store.

U won't feel anything missing there, most of the Indian grocery items are available at good price. Indians mostly struggle to get some of the important items like Pillsbury/Ashirwaad Atta, India gate basmati rice, Tata sampann pulses etc. Which u can find here and not in any Swiss store

Excellent location just 5min walk from Oerlikon Bahnhof. Almost all Indian spices, biscuits(Britannia smiley cream is not there), namkeen(few Haldiram's, mostly other brands), vegetables, sweets available here.

Indian foods like lentils, sauces and even certain vegetables are difficult to find elsewhere. Art of Food solves that issue. It's like a shop in India except it's not in India, it's in Switzerland. Almost never out of stock for anything despite the volumes of items they sell.
