I love Lebanese food! And that's very good at Cèdre 👍. At 7 p.m. the restaurant was very crowded and loud, but luckily it became quieter later. Important: reserve in good time - like almost everywhere in Zurich...

Unfriendly service. Prices way too high. Pure rip-off. The staff has to pay for food even though loads of it is thrown away! No go!

The food is absolutely fantastic, there's nothing wrong with it. It tastes delicious, you could just order it blindly and it would be perfect. But the atmosphere suffers a bit from the success; it is narrow and quite loud. At the same time it also has its charm, it's not boring and it's nice when everyone has a good time.

They added many dishes to our invoice, hoping that we would not notice , when we checked the invoice the price drop from 388CHF to 157CHF !! , you all should double check the invoice twice !!!!!

Over the past few years, I've noticed a marked deterioration in the service at Le Cèdre Bellevue. The staff, previously known for their warmth, now come across as inattentive, unskilled, and, at times, even unfriendly. The food, while passable, doesn't quite live up to the expectations set by its price point. The Lebanese dishes, which should burst with flavor, are instead rather average and lack the authenticity one would hope for in such a setting. Additionally, the atmosphere inside the restaurant has taken a turn for the worse. The once calm environment conducive to conversation is now frequently disrupted by a noisy ambiance, making it difficult to enjoy a meal in peace.

The food was great as always. The location would generally be good too. Only when the children's circus is performing right next door on the square does it get so loud that you can hardly speak to each other. It's a shame, unfortunately the restaurant can't do anything about it. It's just really annoying!

Went there at 2:45 as the opening time was supposed to be until 4. They said they are closing in 15 mins :_(

We visited this Lebanese restaurant and chose the mezze for two. The selection of dishes was varied and delicious. Every dish was well seasoned and tasty. The portions were adequate and the price-performance ratio was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant visit with good food. Ideal for a relaxed evening and to enjoy Lebanese cuisine.

Reserving for this place is a nightmare and cost us our evening. On a Thursday evening I’ve called one of their restaurants and asked if they have place. They have confirmed a table for 3 people in Bellevue as the one on Badenerstrasse was full. Comes Friday and we arrive to Bellevue and naturally they don’t have our reservation. I proceed to call Badenerstrasse and of course they don’t have our reservation either. CONFIRM 20 times with them when you are reserving or you will not sit down! Food is good though if you are able to get in.

A bit chaotic especially while waiting at the entrance, there isn't enough space. Those who arrive end up waiting near the tables of those who are eating. This aspect could be improved. Good cuisine and rosé wine.

The 1001 Nights dish is great. A bit of everything. The atmosphere could be more comfortable. But the staff is very attentive.

No Comments, great!! For me the best Lebanese in town Great, very diverse selection of mezze, but also the main courses are very specially selected and simply top. Everything is fresh and good quality, but the presentation of the food is also a feast for the eyes and, as we all know, the eye is there too. I've been coming here for years and always enjoy it. Tip: you usually eat a little too much there! For dessert, have a fruit platter, suitable for several people. this one is awesome!!!

My Christmas Day at the restaurant was a letdown. Despite having a reservation for 9 and the restaurant closes at 12, the receptionist said they were closed and completely ignored me and bid me farewell. When I spoke to the manager about the poor treatment, he ignored what I told him and reluctantly made us sit. I loved the place last year when the (owner) was around, but after this experience with the staff, I won't be returning. It's disappointing when a once-enjoyable spot falls short during special occasions.

We ordered take away. The pickup was great! Everyone was very friendly and the food was well packaged and delicious 😋! The amount of food is also ideal! Thank you 🙏🏻

While the food is almost able to hide the mass-processing nature of the Christmas service, the uncomfortably cramped rooms cannot do this.

We wanted something for dinner at 9:30 p.m. and according to the online opening times, the restaurant is open until midnight. There were still a lot of people eating, so we sat at a free table and waited about 10 minutes until someone noticed us. Then this rude, cheeky waiter came straight up to us and insulted us as to why we should just sit down and we should leave immediately - they are closed. I look around in disbelief and see people eating even though they are already closed. The waiter runs away, I thought it was a joke but he didn't come back. So I went to ask again, but he said the kitchen was closed and he kicked us out saying “bye”. I have never experienced anything so bold in my entire life, never. To this day I am shocked by this absolutely disrespectful behavior.

Was there for a business event at the beginning of December. It was pretty full and you can't get too crowded. The food is great as always, has been top for years. The waiters did the best and were always in a good mood. There was even a belly dancer organized that evening, which was nice. Despite being at full capacity, the food came relatively quickly and the portions were decent. Everything fresh and finely prepared.

Very tasty food! We had the mezze for two, which were very tasty! We can only recommend it. It would be great to know what you are getting so that you can make changes if necessary. Service could be more attentive - there wasn't that much going on on Monday. And the tap water really has Zurich prices.

The food was wonderful. We had mezze for 4 people. The waiter was extremely friendly and funny too. We will definitely come by again when we visit Zurich!

After asking several times and being assured several times by the waitress that the food I ordered was gluten-free, I consumed it in the restaurant. About an hour later I had to be taken to the emergency room due to a severe allergic reaction. I had consumed the food trusting the waiter's statement, as he assured me that it was gluten-free - but that was obviously not the case. This restaurant is absolutely not suitable for allergy sufferers, as you don't bother to find out the ingredients from the chef if you don't know the ingredients.

The host’s treatment of the Arabs is unsatisfactory. The host’s name is Ibrahim. Every time we ask, he says we are drunk or there are no tables and the place is empty.

On google they’re mentioning it’s open till 00:00 midnight, but we went at 22:00 and they said it’s closed

The restaurant is not a mistake, God willing, the food is amazing. Kibbeh with pomegranate is amazing, tabbouleh, Beirut chickpeas, and 1000% poppy seeds, but its price is a little expensive.

The food at le Cedre was, as always, fantastic. Compared to the other Le Cedre restaurants, the atmosphere here is unfortunately not as relaxed and you feel like it is in the core tourist area.

Do not recommend!! Could not enjoy the experience an incredibly rude waiter made assumptions that I’m not supposed to drink based on my appearance. He also suggested my son is too fat to sit in a a high chair. When I asked how the aperol spritz is prepared he proceeded to remind me again that the aperol was made of alcohol and to ask me if I knew what aperol was. What a disappointment. It was meant to be a wonderful family birthday dinner to celebrate After I told the waiter his comments were rude and unacceptable he told me to chill out and walked away. Terrible service! The restaurant and the staff are really hostile to children! (however good their food is). All tables are always blocked by RESERVE signs so they can pick and choose the customers they want to serve. For the third time we were sent away with a child and a stroller. The last time my wife came alone, she got a table with no problem, the signs were removed, and then we got together. We wanted to eat there in the evening, but were there about 30 minutes before opening. We asked for a table and were informed about the opening times by an annoyed waiter: "You're too early, we don't open until x o'clock". We decide to wait. When we asked for a table just in time for opening time, we were turned away with the comment that everything was already reserved. Apart from the rudeness, he could have told us 30 minutes in advance that there were no more tables available or could have offered us a reservation. We found another Lebanese restaurant just a few minutes away and were much more welcomed there.

Food is nice, service pretty good and environment fine as well. Dessert a bit lacking in my opinion and especially expensive for what it is. If you like lebanese food though, recommended.

A bad restaurant in terms of reception from the staff. Their behavior is very bad. They treat Arabs and Gulf Arabs in particular, and the Lebanese who supervises them is Turkish. He feels good and feels happy about our presence in his restaurant. All the time he was looking at our table as if to say, “Finish and go.” They deal with others with a smile and a welcome. I am currently in the restaurant. I came from Lucerne and arrived at 2:20. Me and my family.. The restaurant refused to accept me, saying that we will not get drunk at 3 p.m. We will get drunk at noon.. I do not recommend relying on the times shown. Now I am in big trouble and I do not have a car. I agreed with the driver to return at 3:30. Fuck this restaurant

With great shame and reproach, I worked at the restaurant, but this owner didn't pay me. After working for 5-6 days, I struggled to get the money back. The Swiss police didn't help me. I'm very sorry that I wasn't able to do this. I am disappointed that many Bengalis working in the restaurant have not been paid. This is one of the most incredible and amazing Lebanese Food in Zurich, some of the best Lebanese Food anywhere in Europe. Everything extraordinary delicious!!!

Good quality food here with a great selection. The meze platter was great with a huge selection of food to try. The grilled meats were full of flavour and very tasty. Service was also very friendly and helpful. Only downside is not all the food came out together, so some people were left waiting for food while others could eat.

The service was very harsh, the plates and glasses were taken away before we were finished. Too expensive. The three of us had a choice of 10, and there was only one dish with meat. We then went to another restaurant to end the evening comfortably and treated ourselves to something sweet.

Very good food. The selection is simply fantastic!! Everything is freshly prepared and tastes like the Arabian Nights. Unfortunately, the service is not that attentive and keeps forgetting you. On busy days you have to wait over an hour for food and you don't even get an apology for the long wait.

Unfortunately, we came from afar and were greeted by an Arab. I said to him, “He came from afar, I parked.” The employee said, “If he came from India, I wouldn’t let you in. What is the manner? If you were interested in eating food, I came and he greeted me with the manner.” I left the restaurant and the food was all good.

Didn’t eat here, but so rude - without a reservation they just dismiss you and effectively tell you to go away. Food looks great, some empty tables inside and out, I understand that you’re still busy, but fitting in two people can’t be that much of a stretch. But no. No reservation, immediately passive aggressive ‘good night’ and effectively go away. Won’t be coming back, ever, which is a shame as the food looks good.

Lots of free tables, both indoors and out. We were told they had no space, for a party of two…in a very dismissive way. Really?! You’ll fill the 20 empty tables at 8pm…? Also a few tables were paying. As a local, been wanting to try this place for a while, no way we’re going back.

Great food, especially the skewers, but the service is special… Our waiters were clueless to an almost comical degree. Always confused, dropping plates and glasses a couple of times and so on. They mean well though (I think… 😂)

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is somewhat delicious. Do not think that you are eating the same food as Lebanon since the restaurant is Lebanese, but it is one of the best restaurants in Switzerland. I ate kibbeh from them and it was delicious + Beirut hummus and it was very delicious, and the mixed grill compared to Arabic food in Europe is considered excellent. If hungry people stop by, their reception is very excellent. I recommend it, and good luck to you.
