Das Essen war wunderbar, Top bedienung , nur schade dass die Kelnerinen nicht mehr den lustigen Tierohren Haarschmuck tragen, das war immer sehr lustig....

Visiting Basel for the first time, and we have found an absolute jem! Tandoori Palace served us generous portions of chicken tikka masala (tender chicken with amazing flavor!), lamb korma (sweet and savory), and the tandoori mix that blew my entire family away. We picked up a few beers and naan and samosas. Wake me up tomorrow! This was heaven! Thank you very much!!

Wir waren Stammgäste im Tandoori Palace, weil die Speisen stets sehr gut waren. Am 23.12.2020 haben wir erstmals wegen Corona eine Onlinebestellung über eat.ch bei diesem Restaurant aufgegeben. Die Speisen konnten online ausgewählt werden und die Bestellung wurde anschliessend mit einer E-Mail bestätigt. Bezahlt wurde direkt mit Kreditkarte. Die Lieferung war anschliessend 1.5 Stunden verzögert und unvollständig. Uns fiel das leider erst beim Essen auf, da der Kurier einfach eine Papiertüte mit den Speisen abgegeben hatte. Wir haben dies sofort gemeldet. Nachdem endlich jemand ans Telefon ging zeigte man wenig Interesse für diesen Fehler. Auch auf die 1.5 Stunden Verspätung angesprochen meinte man nur, wir hätten das so angegeben, was nachweislich nicht stimmt (E-Mail-Bestätigung). Man meinte aber immerhin man werde die fehlenden Speisen der Buchung wieder gutschreiben, was nicht geschah. Abgebucht wurden zwei Hauptgerichte und 3 x Naan sowie eine Liefergebühr, was insgesamt knapp CHF 120 ausmachte. Dass Fehler bei einer Bestellung vorkommen können ist nicht weiter schlimm. Jedoch stört uns Ihre Ignoranz und wie Sie mit Ihren (Stamm)kunden umgehen, dass Zusicherungen nicht eingehalten werden und Ihnen das offenbar auch völlig egal ist.Da wir anderes zu tun haben als uns hiermit herumzuschlagen, geniessen Sie einfach unser (grosszügiges) „Trinkgeld“. Mit einem weiteren Besuch von uns oder erneuten Bestellungen müssen Sie jedoch nicht mehr rechnen. Wir werden künftig unser Geld woanders ausgeben!

Scharf, zart, Indisch vom Feinsten und und und.... das Tandoori Palace ist fast ein Muss wer indisch liebt. Die Bedienung ist super wie man sie Heute leider nur noch selten bekommt. Corona lässt man hier vergessen und man fühlt sich wohl. Vielen Dank für den schönen leckeren Abend wir kommen wieder!!

Top Restaurant für authentisch-indisches Essen. Wers gern scharf mag ist hier richtig. Freundliche und zukommende Bedienung, immer wieder gerne.

Amina, die Bedienung, könnte man auf die Bühne stellen, selten so gelacht. Das Essen war der füddläblutt Wahnsinn, eifach geil! Wir kommen bald wieder. P.S.: Der Chef hat extra für mich frisch, eine Chili Sauce zubereitet, TOP Service!

Das Essen im Tandoori Palace war sehr lecker. Ich hatte das vegetarische Matter Paneer. Zur Vorspeise gab es knusprige "Blätter" mit diversen Saucen. Die Bedienung war sehr persönlich, freundlich und wir hatten gute Gespräche. Ihr macht einen super Job!! Danke für diesen schönen Abend :)

Servicio muy amable.Por supuesto, también disfruté de la comida.Plato de entrada mixto muy sabroso y fresco con muy buenas salsas caseras (¡me encantó la picante!). ¡Increíbles pakoras!Para mi plato principal disfruté de un curry Kaema deliciosamente fresco y picante (con cordero picado). No pude tener suficiente, ¡perfecto con un Keema Naan!Definitivamente regresaré para probar el Mutton Korma (curry Moghul). . . !

Fui con amigos. Muy buen curry pero bastante caro comparado con los otros restaurantes indios de la ciudad. El pollo Tikka Masala era realmente encantador, pero las raciones son un poco pequeñas si tuviera que hacer algún comentario negativo. Toda la comida estuvo buena, pero no nos gustó mucho el curry de pato, pero esa es solo nuestra opinión personal. Gran velada con amigos con buena comida, lástima que el camarero se olvidó de traer el arroz a la mesa. . .

Estuvimos en Basilea con trabajo durante 3 semanas, e inevitablemente fui a cazar un curry. La comida y el servicio en este restaurante fue tan bueno que mis 3 colegas y yo acordamos unánimemente volver en más de 10 ocasiones en el período de 3 semanas. Cada uno de los miembros del personal fue increíblemente servicial y amable, en general, fue una experiencia realmente agradable y será mi primer puerto de escala cuando regrese.

Grand choix de menu, qui peut s’avérer difficiles pour les plus indécis ;) La nourriture y est délicieuse, le serveur est de très bon conseil, petit amuse bouche offert, ainsi que le lassi pour le dessert.Nous étions seuls dans le restaurant, dommage pour eux vu la qualité. Sechs Tage nach der Lockerung des Corona-Shutdowns feierten wir nachträglich den 25. Geburtstag unseres Youngster. Essen: Wie gewohnt top! Ambience: Trotz Corona-Auflagen ebenfalls!Absolut ungenügend war und ist aber die Aktualität der Website: Kein Wort darüber, ob, wann und wie das Restaurant wieder öffnet. Zum Glück hatte mein Sohn bezüglich Reservation alles im Griff – doch eine zwar "professionell" gestaltete, aber inhaltlich unbrauchbare Website verunsichert und schreckt ab!

Das Restaurant zeichnet sich durch eine vielfältige indische Küche mit freundlichem Service und fairen Preisen aus. Wir empfehlen auch das tägliche Mittagsbuffet mit variierenden Gerichten.

Both service and Food were super. I had the Ionian bank as starter followed by chicken jalfrezi and a couple of roti. The rice serving with the curry was a bit small. However, as aid had the roti, I was not too bothered. Without the roti some people may have struggled with the rice portion. Reasonable value for money considering it is Switzerland.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Indian Tandoori Palace. Das Personal ist absolut herzlich und aufmerksam. Zuerst gibt es geschnittene Papadams mit 3 verschiedenen Saucen. Das Essen ist einfach lecker, wird frisch zubereitet und auch immer in der gewünschten Schärfe. Diesmal hatten wir verschiedene Lammgerichte.Sogar Hefeweizen haben sie, obwohl es nicht auf der Karte steht. Das Indian Tandoori Palace können wir wirklich empfehlen!

Wir waren im Kurzurlaub in Basel und haben uns für das Tandoori Palace entschieden. Das Restaurant war brechend voll, trotzdem hat man für uns noch einen Tisch frei gemacht.Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und hat uns die Karte gebracht. Alös Empfehlung wurde uns das Buffet genannt, damit wir verschiedene Gerichte probieren könnten, für welches wir uns dann entschieden haben.Als Vorspeise gab es das klassiche Roti mit diversen Saucen.Im Buffet enthalten ist eine Vorspeise und eine Nachspeise.Zum Buffet gab es ein sehr leckeres Butter Naan, Hühnchen, Lamm, Krabben, Dal und als Beilage Reis.Der Schlag traf uns dann mit der Rechnung, für das Buffet wurde pro Person 40 CHF abgerechnet, das Buffet war definitiv zu teuer, daher auch Punktabzug in der Bewertung. Dies hat uns der Nachbartisch (Stammgäste) bestätigt. Daher ist ein Essen nach Karte zu bevorzugen.Empfehlung für andere:- Reservierung unbedingt notwendig- Essen nach Karte

I visited Basel with my husband and we thank God that we found this amazing place to eat authentic Indian food after trying a couple of Indian restaurants.This is the best Indian restaurant in Basel with such hospitality,I thank Mr Khan (the owner) for his warm welcome and delicious food served with the touch of love. The ambience of the place is fabulous and I was overwhelmed with the way Ameena served the food and treated us.She loves her job and draws you back to the place over and over again. Wir haben heute ausgezeichnet gegessen. Unser indischer Freund zeigte uns das Lokal. Er lebt in Mumbay. Dieses Restaurant kocht authentische indische Küche sagt er. Absolut empfehlenswert!Freundliches fröhliches Personal! Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Best Real Indian Taste in Basel. There is no doubts about that. I am a Veggie and indian and a foodie and a globe trotter. I know when I taste one.... Great service , great ambience, large space, seating locations both inside and outside, nice clean toilets. I have tasted all the Indian joints in Basel when I used to work there and this is only one which made me coming back to it. I also used to get food delivered to Airport hotel basel. Recently we were on a road trip ( UK to Milan, Lake como), with family and I went there after two years. My family also loved it. If you are veggie try the Paneer kadhai and the Aloo nan. Every other dish is equally good. Must eat. Do not miss!!!!

In Basel looking for a place for a nice dinner, after a highly recommend let down. My local college says go "Indian" , are you kidding!So with such a large work force here they had to have good restaurants, and yes they certainly do!Had great 2 curries spicy lamb and chicken masla, truly best I have had in years - both. Fried vegitable start was not soaking in oil, but crispy and full of taste.Strongly recommend, you will enjoy

Being from north England I grew up with good curries and they are difficult to find in mainland Europe. This is easily the best I've had in twenty years of visiting Switzerland. Went for a Vindaloo which is a risky call, but it was the perfect blend of biting heat and delicate flavours. Enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff and nice beer too (Feldschlössen). The bill wasn't cheap, but that's just Basel.

We visited this restaurant twice during the last few days. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The serving staff was tri-lingual and gave us excellent advice throughout our visit. It was evident that the restaurant appealed to a diverse clientele.We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting or living in Basel.

I went here with the lowest expectations: after all, Indian food, in Switzerland - how good can it be? Especially if, like me, you were born in a city with some of the best options outside India itself? I was with a colleague, though, who loves Indian but hardly ever gets the chance to eat it, so I just had to go along with it. And I'm so glad I did - every dish we had was truly excellent, including some of the best saag panneer I've ever eaten. It's a bit pricey, but worth every franc. Service was also very friendly. Absolutely to be recommended.

Well its a Pakistani Indian Halal Resturant. With lot of dishes for vegetarians n Meat lovers. Prices r as usual high in Basel. Very near in city centre. One should visit the beauty of Indian Food. Awsome

If you enjoy Indian food as I do, you should definitely go there. I went to that lovely place with some colleagues and we all had the same positive feedback. Food was great, the waiter did her best to make that dinner enjoyable and she did succeed.

This restaurant was suggested to us by a client. You are able to walk to it from anywhere downtown. The staff was warm and accommodating. I asked for a dish before I looked at the menu. They made it. I was surprised to find out that it was not even on the menu! Really welcoming.

We are locals and this is one of our favourite restaurants. Food is consistently great, authentic and full of flavour, and staff very friendly!

We have been to this restaurant multiple times. Today the experience was extremely bad.The glasses for water were dirty, when asked waiter (Om) changed it. The food was served, we asked for salt, the reply from waiter (Om) was - you should have asked together with the food!! He never came back with the salt.Then he started arguing that we had dirtied the glasses and that the glasses were all clean.Very poor service, and a bad attitude of the staff.

You would not to expect to find good quality Indian food in Basel. I was presently surprised when my colleagues brought here for dinner. The appetizers were fresh and the nan bread was served warm. The assortment of spice's was a nice touch. For my meal my marsala lamb was properly cooked with the right balance of spices. Overall nice meal, the restaurant has a fully stocked bar, which allows you to have beer or juices during your meal. Will be back for sure.

We had lunch here on our last day in Switzerland. The veg samoosas ,veg breyani and butter paneer were amazing. Big portions and well priced.Definately the best Indian food we have eaten while in Switzerland. Highly recommended.

Dining out when travelling when you have multiple severe food allergies is always stressful and may become a challenge. More restaurants have allergy information on their card. This restaurant is not there yet, but the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and what we found in standard on the menu was very good. Thanks a lot to the team

Very nice food, freshly cooked !Large choice of plates, including amazing mixed grill I personally tried.In the restaurant, I also met (not only) several Indian people, both local and travelers, which reinforce my good impression.Service is kind, flexible and discrete.Prices are more than acceptable in Basel.I definitely and strongly recommend this restaurant.

Its been 5 years and ive been to almost all of the Indian restaurants in Basel but with no doubts i can conclude that this is the best one. Its better to reserve upfront and look at the menu from the website before you get there... by this means you save some time. And if you are there for lunch go for buffet and for dinner i would suggest a la carte

Wir haben durch Zufall über Mittag das Restaurant erstmalig besucht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und an einen der weiss aufgedeckten Tische geführt. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und gestaltet und lässt uns gedanklich schon nach Indien abtriften. Wir haben uns dann auf Empfehlung für das reichliche Mittagsbüffet entschieden ( Fr.23.80) und nicht bereut. Suppe, div. Salate, Fisch, Veg.,Curry-Huhn, Shrimps, Naan-Brot, Die Schärfe der Speisen konnten wir dank zusätzlicher Chilli Sauce selber bestimmen. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und werden wieder kommen!

Sehr gutes und authentisches Essen, welches frisch zubereitet und serviert wird. Der Service ist eine etwas unorganisierte Zusammenarbeit zwischen verschiedenen Mitarebitern. Es ist nahezu unwahrscheinlich, dass ein Tisch das Essen gemeinsam erhält. Die Preise sind für die Lage nahe der Innenstadt sehr ok.

Our experience in this restaurant was very positive. The northern Indian food was well-prepared and generous. As with everything in Basel, the cost is higher than ordinarily expected in an Indian kitchen; however, the experience was positive and the service outstanding!

Ich komme einmal in der Woche in dieses Restaurant und jedes Mal, wenn ich komme, bestelle ich etwas Neues und werde nie enttäuscht. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ich bin vor einer Woche hierher gekommen, nachdem ich diesen Ort schon lange nicht mehr besucht habe. Es war so gut, dass ich zweimal in der Woche hier war. Eines meiner Lieblings indischen Restaurants.

Fabelhafter Ort, tolles Essen und Service mit Emina war fantastisch. Sie war sehr gut informiert über die Speisekarte und gab einige Empfehlungen. Wir waren nicht enttäuscht von ihren Entscheidungen. Kudos zu den Köchen auch Essen war erstklassig.

Wir waren zu zweit mit dem Gutscheinbuch dort und haben à la carte bestellt. Das Essen kam nach etwa einer halben Stunde (für uns eine angemessene Wartezeit) und hat sehr sehr lecker geschmeckt. Besonders die Mix Tandoori Platte war ein Traum. Die Portionen waren ausreichend gross und das Essen war ansprechend angerichtet.

I have visited numerous Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Mongol cuisine restaurants across Europe, and this is the best.The food is always fresh, succulent and spicy. I travel to Switzerland on business quite frequently and, although I don't visit this restaurant every week, I think it's my favourite. I have tried a number of different dishes from the menu and have never been disappointed.The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed with this restaurant... the onion bajhi is actually onion rings kinda spices up... my other half ordered lamb Rogan josh which he found the lamb tough and the sauce tasteless. No vegetables at all in the dish.... I had a chicken dansak and I think the chief forgot to put the spice in the Rogan josh because he gave it all to me... it was nearly not eatable... the rice and garlic naan were the best part of the meal... the beer volume was very small also... this meal came to around €110.00 and to be honest it wasn't worth €50.00.. we can get a lot better at home... not worth a visit in my opinion.. any other country the Indian meal is usually the cheapest meal and the tastiest but not here..

We spent a lovely evening on the terrace enjoying authentic Indian cuisine. The service was attentive and helpful which added to our experience as we had a few questions. It seemed most of the patrons were locals. The location is near the University, so it is a nice area to walk around. We shared a lamb and prawn dishes and were impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Don't let the name fool you as the menu is quite extensive including options other than the traditional tandoori preparation. If in Basel and wanting Indian food, go here to experience an authentic experience served with pride.

Had lunch while on transit thru Basel. This is a very good option. The food is authentic Indian and tasted well. Seemed popular amongst locals and Indians as there was a celebration (probably by Indians) in other part of restaurant.The service was prompt and the place was large with nice ambiance. Be aware, like most things in Swiss, this is well priced.

I like both lunch and dinner options on this restaurants:- For lunch, they have a buffet very reasonably priced. Many options and good quality- For dinner, menu a la carte, more expensive (we paid 60 CHF per person with no alcohol or dessert) but of great quality. They have vegetarian options, service was nice (they spoke both English and German)We ordered for 4 people:- Vegetarian options: Pakora Gemuese (nice, but portion small) and Saag Panner (very tasty). Cheese naan was great- Chicken: Murgh Tikka Massala, Murgh Biryiani (super tasty rice with chicken) and Peshawar Kabab (so tender you could cut it with the fork only)- Lamb: Lamm Jalfrezi (spicy)It was all great, even the coffee...still, I was surprised to pay 62 CHF per person. I guess we ordered too much food

I am an Indian living in Delhi, and am particularly fond of the authentic North Indian Butter Chicken and butter Naan. When I lived in the UK for a couple of years, I was constantly disappointed by the sickly sweet Butter Chicken they serve there. Needless to say, when my friends told me they knew a place with amazing butter chicken, I was quite sceptical. Especially since Europeans love sweet curries for some reason. But my friends insisted and I accepted the challenge, thereby agreeing to break one of my cardinal rules of never eating Indian food when travelling abroad. And I was so glad I did. Indian Tandoori Palace served me the best Butter Chicken, Malai Tikka and Butter Naan I have had outside Delhi. We ordered three Butter Chickens of varying spice levels from mild to super spicy. I like following the middle path, so I went for medium spicy. They were all fantastic! The restaurant is well done up with friendly staff and prompt service. Khan, evidently the head chef and manager of the restaurant, was particularly charming, and I learned his family was from Delhi too! So, if you’re in Basel and looking for some great, authentic Indian food, don’t miss this place. You will have a great meal for sure.

Were on a vacation with my family. Had a pleasant time dining out at this restaurant. As requested, they specially prepared Jain food for us. Mr. Khan, the owner, was a great person. Would surely like to visit again if we come again to Switzerland. Keep it up !!

Globalization has no boundaries. Today I had two swiss nationals suggesting a Punjabi meal from their menu of restaurant Indian tandoori, basel, Switzerland. I sat in the outdoors enjoying the setting sun reflecting off the old architecture buildings and having hariyali kabab with Chicken gravy any and tandoori naan.also came across stars I met on the train here enjoying a sumptuous meal.

Very spontaneous visit, read previous reviews and thought we'd give it a go.We've been to a few Indians, been let down many times, but finally found one we'd try again!Almost a fine dining experience and quality food. Well done.

Visited here on a weekend trip with my partner who is very picky about what she eats. Both of us left feeling happier and fuller than when we came in!The staff informed me of a buffet they had which I opted for, where my partner had a madras.The buffet came with a mixed starter, which the staff also gave my partner om the house (likely as a courtesy to save me eating alone).The buffet came with vegetarian options, lamb and chicken curries, rice, and poppadoms. My partner was offered more rice when they noticed she had finished, and were prompt in responding to drink orders.Also in the buffet came desert, consisting of a mango yoghurt. Not much, but cleansed the pallet well. Overall the staff were lovely, making us feel very welcome, and the food was fantastic. My only quibble is that the seasoning elements (lemon grass, cardomom seeds) were left in the curries, which you definitely know about when you accidentally get a mouthful! But I'm aware these can be left for visual affect, so I'm not to knock marks off Really happy, would highly recommend!

One of the best Indian Restaurants I have come across in Europe. The food is authentic and flavourful with a good spice hit. If you wish it can be altered to your taste.

I have been to this restaurant twice - once for dinner with friends and based on that experience, for lunch with colleagues the next time.The first experience - dinner with friends - we went for a la carte. food was excellent, authentic and very tasty. Service was fast, quantity was good. The place is above average but that doesn’t really matter if I can get really good Indian food in Basel. I am a vegetarian and my friends ordered non-vegetarian food, we were all happy with our respective choices. The serving staff wasn’t very friendly or reciprocative though - didn’t really help us with optionsThe second time with colleagues, we went for lunch and went for buffet - we asked the staff who were not very reciprocal or helpful about options anyway. We chose buffet as the food was below average - everything. Even my colleagues who have had Indian food probably just twice before knew this was below par, so quite a disappointing experience considering it was a farewell lunch for a colleague.There are not many nice Indian food places in Basel, so I may still go again but will choose a la carte options only.

Als regelmässiger Gast kann ich das Tandoori Palace nur herzlich weiterempfehlen. Insbesondere die À-la-Carte-Speisen sind sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, Vorspeisen wie Samosas aber auch die Hauptgänge. Aber auch das Mittagsbuffet ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Die Lokalität ist klein und einfach, aber gemütlich. Die Bedienung freundlich und direkt, der Chef sehr gastfreundlich!PS: Übrigens auch als Take-Away tiptop :)

Die Vorreservierung (erst am selben Tag reserviert) per Internet war leider verlorengegangen. Dennoch fand sich genügend Platz für unsere Gruppe. Der Einfachheit halber bestellten wir einen Mix von Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen zum teilen. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, allerdings hätte ich mir ein paar mehr Variationen gewünscht (2 Sorten). Die Hauptspeisen waren grossartig und wurden mit verscheidenen Fladen serviert. Der Service war flott, manchmal ein klein wenig vergesslich aber insgesamt gut. Die Athmosphäre im hinteren Teil des Restaurants wirke für mich etwas zu kühl und abweisend und passte nicht so zur Herzlichkeit der Menschen. Ich würde sicher wieder hingehen, mir die Vorspeisenkombination noch einmal in der Karte anschauen und ansonsten geniessen.

Wir waren zu zweit zum Abendessen dort.Meine Frau bestellte ein Gericht welches nicht den Zusatz in der Karte "scharf" hatte - sie konnte es nicht Essen weil es definitiv zu scharf war, obwohl sie bei der Bestellung explizit angab, dass sie kein scharfes Essen mag.Ich bestellte ein Lammcurry mit Zusatz "scharf". Auf Nachfrage ob ich das nur ganz leicht scharf haben könnte, wurde mir versichert, dass der Koch die Schärfe individuell anpassen kann und für mich nur ganz leicht scharf würzt. Letzendlich stand mir nach dem ersten Bissen der Schweiss auf der Stirn und ich konnte das Essen nicht mehr geniessen.Ich esse gerne scharf, aber bei einem Schärfegrad, welcher mich noch das Essen herausschmecken lässt und bitte nicht so, dass einem der gesamte Mund nur noch brennt.Hier wurde leider auf die Wünsche des Gastes nicht wirklich eingegangen und ein Standard-Essen serviert. Ob es an der Kommunikation zw. Service und Koch haperte oder am mangelnden Interesse am Gast sei mal dahingestellt und spielt auch letztendlich keine Rolle mehr.Sorry - mein erster und letzter Besuch dort.

Schönes Restaurant, sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung, feines Essen in der gewünschten Schärfe, grosszügige Portionen und liebevoll angerichtet.Begeistert hat mich, dass die Vorspeisen bereits auf 2 Teller verteilt wurden, als wir bei der Bestellung erwähnt hatten, dass wir sowieso alles teilen. Und als es einen Flecken auf der Tischdecke gab, der Kellner sofort eine neue Serviette brachte um diesen abzudecken. Sehr aufmerksam und sympathisch. Gerne wieder!

De retour 3 ans plus tard dans ce restaurant. Accueil attentionné, plats copieux et délicieux, bon rapport qualité/ prix. Il n'y avait pas foule donc les plats ont été servis dans un timing parfait.Nous reviendrons.

We visited this Place for the first Time. The Food was more than excellent. We eat Lamm and chicken. The Taste, the Parfum of the fresh Food was incredible good. We Loved the Food. During the excellent Dinner, we feel liked been on holidays. We will come back for sure. Very friendly Service.

Wir hatten einen gemütlichen 2er Tisch und haben das Buffet gewählt. Nach einer Vorspeise auf Teller haben wir das Buffet genossen. Alle Speisen recht scharf, dazu gab es feines Nanbrot. Zum Abschluss gab es einen kleinen Dessert. dies alles für 39 SFR pro Person.

Hatten eine Reservation für 13:00 und das Erste was das Bedienungspersonal sagt, ist dass sie die Küche um 13:30 schliessen und wir besser ans Buffet sollten. Wir haben dann mit Nase rümpfen trotzdem von der Karte bestellen können. Bedienung was unfreundlich, Rechnung wurde uns gleich nach dem Essen gebracht ohne Nachfrage nach Desserts oder Kaffee.

The food was not bad. We did not like the atmosphere. The service was slow and the owner not kind (but the server was nice). When we received the bill, the wine was missing. We notified it to be honnest and the owner did not say anything since we were only tourist. Never again.

Nous étions à Bâle pour la Herbstmesse. Nous sommes allés manger au Tandoori Palace parce qu'il se trouve près de notre hôtel. Quelle bonne surprise! Personnel aux petits soins et très sympathique (ils ont donné sans problème une assiette supplémentaire pour l'un de nous qui avait apporté des ramequins fromage de la foire).Nous avons mangé comme des rois.
