Is a very nice restaurant and very helpful service staff. The food is also very good. I'd love to come back.

Very friendly service. The veal liver with rice was wonderful. I've had very good experiences before. I can only recommend the restaurant. I was here again on February 10, 2024. Still highly recommended. My girlfriend and I will come again.

A rural restaurant 'zmitzt' in the city. The service was friendly, the food was delicious and the portions were generous! I was full even though I chose something vegetarian, which doesn't happen often. Clearly recommended as the price is also very fair.

If you like it urchin, this is the right place for you. The wine list is somewhat better in Bern. The service team is great and has had hardly any fluctuation for years.

Food tasted great, but depending on the menu choice, not much. Service was top: efficient and had an overview. Even à la carte with over 20 people is no problem and the time is flexible. The ambience is simply a slightly older but well-kept restaurant.

A wonderful day and evening spent with fine food and wine...a big "M E R C I"......to the "Jäger Team"..............Simply always the finest . I would give one more star if I could... The boss can be proud of his team.

Barbecue party with Jöggu & Miggu. Unfortunately it was a bit cold but with such great music entertainment, good food and equally great service, we were able to tolerate it.

Yesterday, August 6th, 2023, there was a summer grill with live music at Jäger. The weather was nasty with rain and cold wind. But the food was delicious. The service and staff more than made up for the weather with their good mood and friendliness. It was a very nice stay!! Congratulations to the entire hunting team

The food can be quite pricey, but the staff was sooo incredibly friendly. My husband and I went there our first night in Bern, and the staff was so nice. They brought out a little vase with a flower and light a candlestick for us to make it more romantic. One waitress, Natalya, stayed after her shift was over to translate the ENTIRE menu for us. We were so touched by that. Also, our waiter, Andreas, told us all the best places we had to see while in Bern. We were blown away by the staff. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We had a great time.

Very great food, cozy atmosphere, top service… you feel well served from start to finish. I would love to come back! At the end of the day there was even a game of chance where you could win fun things, and the money from the tickets is donated to a good cause. + Beef steak was very fine + homemade sauce + You should definitely try corn croquettes + Great side dishes for meat + good portion (you get full) + Top service, very entertaining - The corn croquettes were still cold in the center and very well fried and warm on the outside (I found it a bit of a shame because I actually really liked the taste - For me personally the price was a bit expensive, but for a good steak in Switzerland you have to pay around 50 CHF

I don't know how many times I've had the "Emmentaler Buurebratwurst in onion sauce with fresh Bernese rösti" at Jäger. But I know 100 percent that it was an incredible pleasure every time. And I know that I will take them the next time I visit Jäger. :)

We have already eaten here twice. Always good. The XXL Cordon Bleu should actually only be called XL or L Cordon Bleu. I really expected XXL. But very nice service and everything was really top!
