Jêle Café in Basel

I went to this cafe and ordered hot chocolate. There was one bartender behind the bar, a wonderful person))) Although I don’t speak German well, he understood me and even talked to me, it was so nice))) Calm romantic atmosphere, candles on the tables))) I recommend it!!!!!

Very friendly café owner, excellent chailatte and cappuchino. Food was good. The bill was relatively high.

We wanted to choose something from the brunch menu and were told there was only one menu. The food was good. The flatbread with spring onion was great. Together with the tea it cost CHF 36.

I've recently moved to this area and am therefore looking for "my" café. It probably won't be: too loud, too narrow and there's a surcharge for card payments. I will search further.

This a very special place, where Celal offers high quality good and service and put emphasis on the human relationship also bringing people together, who did not know each other before, all that in a cool and pleasant atmosphere. Food is not endless, but you will always get something.

This is one of my favourite places in Basel. Perfect spot for a vegetarian brunch. The owner is super friendly and always up for interesting conversations. The Chai Latte is also excellent; can be enjoyed with one of the books on the couch :-) definitely recommend!

I was passing through Basel and spontaneously stopped to pick up some croissants and a coffee to take away. I had a very pleasant conversation with the nice manager and the other customers. Very nice experience, you feel at home and no different treatment despite his French accent :). Really great!

Was received very friendly. Good coffee. TERRACE is small, but beautiful. There is good brunch, it is very COZY here. Has Kreüter, mint tea from the garden.
