Bread was hard :( very expensive

Was there today and was served very friendly. I'd love to come back

The bakery is bright and friendly, the cinnamon rolls and cream slices are super delicious. Only the prices are a bit high - as is the case in Zurich.

Normally I am very happy with their products, but this morning was a real disappointment. I've bought the "Dreikönigskuchen". Either were my expectations too high, or the dough was old...hard to say but it was really dry and I felt like if I bought defrosted one in any other grocery store, I'd do better. Was totally not worth the price. (Ca 7chf for 180g). Only thing I found really great was, they've put a bean in it instead of the plastic figurine you can find in others. Great idea, thank you for that! :)

The fact that Jung's prices are now completely disrupted, especially with the explanation of sustainability, is no longer something you get on a Saturday at 1 p.m. Everything is sold out. So friends of fresh and brutally overpriced hipster bread, go shopping there on Saturdays with your fat wallet and preferably before 9 a.m. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Mistakes happen... but at these high prices I simply expect that the almond croissants I bought don't turn out to be nut croissants when I get home!

Only four stars because the products might feel a little bit pricy. However, the quality of the pain au chocolate and the croissants is impressive! Vollkorn bread is not as good as the croissants.

I was amazed at the huge bright yellow posters outside and inside that advertise all sorts of things. This no longer has anything to do with the Jung Bakery as we know it. There was no patisserie, just a dry cheesecake. The bread is still good.

11.50 for a Bundt sandwich??? I think it's okay if products have the "right" price. But 11.50 for 2 slices of bread and some Bunderfleisch is simply exorbitant! That's really greedy. Indecent. “Then hets i z'Hirni gschisse” I would accept 7-8 francs but 11 francs!! If only it were really good! It was just average. 2 slices of bread, two Gürkli and some Bunderfleisch...

Shop opens at 8 a.m., I come at 8:10 and ask for baguette. Everything is sold out, is the answer. A little surprised, I decide to do something else. The saleswoman and her colleague are nice, but have no idea about the products sold and can provide zero information about the ingredients. So I'm going again. On the sidewalk I meet the supplier with the baguettes... Conclusion: it could be a good shop if you employed specialist salespeople and no support staff. The prices are correspondingly high, so that should be feasible.

Omg the burger bunns (called jungli) in this place are perfect. They also make amazing almond gipfeli.

There used to be these little olive baguettes. They were fantastic. Ideal for a sandwich or just on its own. Now they are only available as a measly bread roll for 2 Stutz. A pity.

Not cheap, but very good, whether superfood, croissants or homemade juices and iced tea, everything is fresh and delicious. Staff very friendly. I particularly support the switch from pet to glass.

To let someone know that nut croissants (and they were clearly nut croissants and not almond croissants), 3 people ate them, are almond croissants is an absolute disgrace. Maybe they don't carry nut croissants now or 3 months after the first review, but in January 2021 I bought nut croissants and definitely not almond croissants

Hello, yesterday afternoon (May 3rd) I bought 4 vanilla croissants for my family at Limmatplatz, I was a bit suspicious that the croissants were at the very end of the counter next to sandwiches and not, as usual, next to other croissants and pain au chocolat, I asked the saleswoman if these croissants were from yesterday, she replied with a "nasty" tone that they never sell yesterday's goods. Unfortunately, when I got home I noticed that the croissants weren't fresh at all, they were hard and the vanilla cream was no longer fresh. Clearly these croissants were older. It's a shame, I often buy these croissants for my kids and they taste fresh 👌, otherwise the service is always friendly and nice...

The quality is great, there's hardly a better one in Zurich - only the price isn't great, but it's bearable for a non-daily visit.

As far as unkindness and inhumanity go, that was the pinnacle. It's unbelievable what this young employee was like.

Good products, nice service, BUT... This bakery can't make croissants, they only serve dry croissants... That's why 2 out of 5. ADDENDUM: A saleswoman said: "There haven't been any croissants for a long time..." - Yes, what's true now? The croissants are really dry and not croissants!!!!! When will there be some again?

The croissants have become smaller, worse and more expensive. 2 years later: sandwiches just two slices of bread and it has become expensive again! What's going on here! Chocolate croissants have also become smaller but are still the same price. You won't get any more rap from me!

For years the quantity and quality have been getting worse and the prices have been rising massively. The chef's latest highlight is to present sliced ​​bread as the delicacy. My sandwitch contained two slices of roast beef, butter and some sprouts. No sauce, no flavor, just nothing. This masterpiece cost an incredible CHF 12. The Jung Bakery was always a great lunch provider for us as neighbors, but we will no longer support this audacity.

Rather expensive, but the quality of the products is really A1. The young muesli (expensive!) is one of the best muesli I know. Only recommended. Gasparini's ice creams are also great.

The butter pretzel was the ugliest pretzel I have ever eaten in my life! It was butter with a little bread, you first had to scrape 200g of butter off the pretzel!

Completely overpriced! Sandwich for 10.- or super small sourdough bread for over 5.- which is completely hard and inedible. Quality for price is not right. We know what Zurich is like, but that's an exaggeration, especially in this area with many (vocational) schools and Langstr.

Super fine croissants, rolls and sandwiches. You can tell that it is prepared with love and, above all, that it is very fresh. Dear students and apprentices, the rolls are super delicious and you get 10% off with your student ID. It would be great if all students were told this when purchasing instead of just every other student.

Unfortunately, the croissants are no longer what they once were. The croissants are doughy, small and no longer taste good and all for a hefty price of Fr. 1.70. When I asked the saleswoman about the steep price, she said that the new croissants were healthier. It's actually a real shame because the JUNG Bakery sells fantastic bread and great sandwiches.

Very embarrassing. The sellers didn't even know what kind of bread they had on the shelf. I was then simply charged 5.00 for what was supposed to be a nut bread, even though it wasn't a nut bread at all.

Everything I have bought here so far has been delicious. Even if some drinks are a bit more expensive, it's still worth it, for example. matcha shot (from MONO) was very good. For me it's simply the best bakery in Zurich

You can't go wrong here. Get me a sandwich almost every week :)
