Very good sushi, definitely recommended. I will come back the next time I visit Zurich!

Decent Asian food chain. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Food is good. The environment lacks personality.

Gluten-free dishes and especially soy sauce, great for those affected by celiac disease. The processing in the kitchen should perhaps be paid a little more attention to, as I, as the person affected, had problems afterwards despite eating gluten-free food, so even a small amount of contamination is enough. Didn't mention it though. But otherwise top service and real enjoyment.

Yesterday I visited Negishi. The food was very good but one guy working there was very rude. Maybe he was hurry to clean and go home. I will visit again this store and try to avoid this man

From the moment we entered Negishi Sushi Bar we were transported to a world of culinary excellence. The atmosphere was inviting and modern, perfect for a relaxed evening of enjoyment. But what really made our visit exceptional was our host, Fabienne. Their professionalism, friendliness and in-depth knowledge of the dishes on offer made our experience particularly personal and memorable. The quality of the sushi was second to none. Each piece was a masterpiece of flavors, fresh and cooked to perfection. Fabienne recommended some of her favorite dishes and each one was a hit. Her passion for Japanese cuisine and her attentiveness to the guests made us feel particularly comfortable. Not only the excellent cuisine, but also the excellent service from Fabienne make Negishi Sushi Bar a place we would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable sushi experience. We will definitely be back and look forward to being welcomed by Fabienne again. A big compliment to the entire Negishi Sushi Bar team, but especially Fabienne for a perfect evening! 5 stars are clearly not enough here!

I took my sister here for her birthday, and the food was truly worth a special occasion. Excellent selection of food items and high-quality ingredients and presentation made for a great experience. Additionally, the waiting staff was incredibly kind and accommodating of our special birthday wishes. Our waitress Fabienne made sure my sister‘s birthday would be a fantastic experience from beginning to end, she was wonderful! Thank you so much, we will be back.

I can only highly recommend this place! Fresh, diverse sushi sets, really nice starters, decent drinks. Cosy atmosphere, affordable prices and great service. That all makes a visit at Negishi a really memorable experience!

Was a nice place for lunch. I had the fish bento box and my friend had the poke bowl. The only downside was that there was only one server and she seemed quite stressed. Otherwise, give it a try if you looking for a nice light lunch item.

As soon as you walked in you were warmly welcomed. The furnishings and the ambience made a good eye. When making the reservation, the name was recognized at the table. You were instructed how to look at the menu on the online site. There was a cube where you could scan the QR code. It was very clear and had a lot to choose from. When it came to the starter, I didn't find anything that I wanted to have, but I saw that it had something that I would like to have as a starter, and that was kindly accepted. I got what I wanted. The people there responded to the customer's needs, which was great. I have to say the food there was VERY GOOD!🥰 We're going there again, it's really great. The dessert wowww you were well advised and everything was freshly prepared. Really great.

Yesterday I was at Negishi Pelikanplatz and ate like a Japanese queen. In terms of price, sushi is always over the top but the friendly, attentive service and the ambience make it quick. Highest praise to the young blonde lady “Fabi” who managed the rather full store.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Negishi at Pelikanplatz and I must say that my visit was marked by an exceptional service experience from start to finish. I owe this in particular to the excellent employee Fabienne. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly greeted by Fabienne, who accompanied me to my table. Her smile and polite manner immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. Throughout my stay, Fabienne was attentive and made sure I didn't lack for anything. She recommended delicious dishes and patiently answered all my questions. What really made Fabienne stand out was her passion for excellent service. She paid attention to every detail, from keeping the glass always filled to the timely delivery of courses. Her sense of the right moment and her recommendations contributed significantly to my culinary enjoyment. I really appreciate Fabienne's commitment and professionalism. Your service made my visit to Negishi an unforgettable experience and I will definitely come back. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere and excellent sushi, but Fabienne took the cake. The selection of sushi is perfect, it has everything. The quality of the food is excellent, we always enjoy coming here. The service varies depending on the day, we've had super friendly staff or not so friendly staff but on the whole it's always ok.

Lovely setting and surprisingly good food! Fish was fresh and tasty, ingredients top notch. We had a great family lunch, the staff took also care of our dog. We could not have asked for more.

The food was okay. Service was awful. We got up and walked to the front every time we needed something. We needed to order we needed to get up and tell them. We needed chili paste we needed to get up. We needed more water we needed to get up. We asked for the check we had to get up. It was ridiculous. Also there were 3 tables in the restaurant it’s not like they were busy

I waited 30 minutes for the sushi to go. Sushi quality average. Price-performance ratio excessively unreasonable. Paid way too much for very little sushi! But the ambience is sweet.

An Asian style restaurant, we arrived without a reservation and immediately got a table. The menu should be scanned with the bar code on the table. First we asked for tap water, the waiter said that you could pour it yourself at the tap located in the center of the restaurant, the water was cloudy. There is a variety of dishes, not cheap. We ordered a sushi platter, the mango was delicious and nothing more. Yes, there is a special atmosphere in the place, but the waiters are not so patient.

The pre selected sushi plate for 3 was excellent. Variety and quality made it a great meal.

First time eating out at a sushi restaurant and it was amazing. I’m a coeliac and it was so easy! You can filter the allergens on the online menu to find good safe for you. Everything was amazing especially the black umami. Definitely a great choice for gluten free.

Bad food and very expensive for what it is. Tiny and badly cut pieces of fish. Rice was very dry and looked like it had been waiting on the side. You can find much better sushi restaurants for about the same price in Zürich. The order system is organized around QR codes to minimize interaction with the personnel. The Personnel is hence reluctant from providing any service and makes you feel it. Even the bill has to be paid online without interacting with the waiters. Otherwise the decoration of the room is ok and is rather welcoming when you enter. The kind of cheap, « instagrammable » place that pay low attention to the food quality. Avoid.

Super nice staff and sushi always arrived quickly (we had sushi all you can eat) and it was very tasty. There is also a large selection of vegetarian variants! 🤩

Very unfriendly service! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were brushed off! Apparently there wasn't a free table, the restaurant was practically empty at this point! As an alternative, we (five women) were first offered a small table in the corner or to sit outside (in what felt like 0 degrees) - with the hope that we would refuse. Since we didn't plan on staying long, we agreed and sat at the table. After two minutes the waiter came back and said that we should order take away since we weren't allowed to sit there. When we asked why, we were told: "You can't sit here, there's not enough space." Mind you, we were all already seated and it wouldn't have been any trouble for us. My friend politely replied to the waiter that there was enough space for us and that we could decide for ourselves whether there was “not enough room” to sit. The waiter then became cheeky and said: "I'm the owner here and I decide who can sit here and who can't." (As if Negishi belonged to him, and even if he did, that's not how you treat guests!) We got up straight away and left the restaurant! By the way: The Italian restaurant LUIGIA is just around the corner, we were warmly welcomed without a reservation and the owner (who was actually the owner this time) organized a table for us straight away :-) The food and service were great! 10 out of 10!!

Was in this branch for the first time. I love the beautiful facilities! We made reservations in advance and were able to spend a lovely, cozy evening. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious as always! We had sushi, gyoza, soup and the fine ginger lemon mint tea ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I found it very pleasant that people could have a good conversation. Restaurants can often get loud, but it was really cozy here.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. I've had better, cheaper, and more authentic Japanese ramen throughout Zurich. Since the owner wants so many recommendations to improve the business, I recommend putting knowledgeable staff on the floor or hiring people who actually know how to cook Japanese food. Or simply shut down the restaurant.

The quality of the food was mediocre to poor. You can get better quality sushi/ramen elsewhere and actually be full. They also charge 5 Francs for a glass of tap water.

My kids and I were on a weeklong trip to Switzerland from the U.S. Tired of cheese on our last full day, we were craving a sushi lunch. We looked up the best rated sushi places in Zurich and Negishi popped up (and popped off). It was some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. The salmon sashimi was to die for. We were truly blown away, no kizzy. Negishi really slayed!
