Kafi Augustin in Zürich

A cafe on a beautiful pedestrian street. Small but clean premises. Busy basic on a weekday. The portions were ok, quite expensive for a basic cafe. But the area is otherwise expensive.

One of the workers is very rude by using her loud voice. Okay we all go through pressure but if the worker cannot handle the pressure of the customers then do not work and serve!! Examples like her will not let the customer come again to the store! I did enjoyed those my mango cheesecake! Watch out from that woman shes a bit nervous all the time.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with this cafe. I accidentally got in the way of the toilet door, which I didn't realize, and it was pointed out to me in a very sharp and unfriendly manner. General staff seems stressed and unfriendly, no farewell. I definitely don't recommend it.

It was a nice place to stop and have lunch after a quick visit to Zurïch but the vegetable soup that I chose was SALTY...impossible to finish.

Found this cafe on charming colorful street, excited to give it a try. Had wanted to get some coffee with 3 friends and the server was quick to add that we needed to eat since it was lunchtime and busy. There were tables open still and no one waiting to be seated. We did order food the goulash was amazing and rich, the latte was good enough. My bf’s cappuccino was great. But when friends came and “only” ordered aeperol spritz the same older female server gave us quite a rude look that I’ve not encountered during my visit to Zürich. I’d come here for the food but the attitude needs to change. The other younger female server was so kind especially to the adjacent table with an elderly woman using a walker

The place is very cozy! Good cuisine, large portions, cozy atmosphere, friendly service! Very tasty and fragrant coffee!

Local on Augustinergasse (right next to Bahnhofstrasse) and opposite Cantinetta Antinori (highly recommended Italian restaurant). Nice location to drink a coffee in the morning and watch the city center wake up. Coffee is good and the price-performance ratio is right. Unfortunately, from midday onwards the street is full of tourists taking photos and is therefore almost too crowded. There is also delicious cake!

We are very disappointed with this cafe. The first time the service was very unfriendly. The second time, four of us came at 11:30 and had a table outside. We ordered four drinks and got them at 11:45. At 12 o'clock she said that the table had just been reserved and just 10 minutes later she brought us the bill and asked us to leave. When we went to the toilets, it was completely dirty and there was paper everywhere. We will definitely never go to this cafe again.

Fine juices and snacks in one of the most beautiful streets in the old town.

Food was good. The “flatbread” with the falafel salad is not a real flatbread. But everything tasted good so far. The goulash soup was delicious. The homemade lemonade was a surprise, more like a smoothie and not as good in taste. The service was also ok.

Nice cafeteria a few meters from Bahnhofstrasse (Pestalozzi) and about 300 meters from Bahnofptlaz. Small and cozy, tables outside with plush seats for the cold or well heated inside. Exquisite cakes! A peculiar detail, the entrance handle, is a huge bronze bear.

There are delicious cakes and a good espresso here. However, a bit overpriced, especially the smoothies. The blonde waitress could also be a little more friendly and nice, that wouldn't hurt.

Quite a positive experience, I found the bill really expensive considering that we had two orange juices and two slices of cake...50 francs😢 but the cakes were exceptional. Quiet place, normal service

Really very very good. Family shop since 1992. One of the best carrot cakes ever eaten! And the quiches were delicious!

Very small coffee shop in the center of Zurich. We tried the chestnut cake but unfortunately it tasted more like hazelnuts. Coffee was average and served with a pre-packaged biscuit. Fresh fruit juice is good. The staff was very slow and inattentive. Space is very limited and the chairs are not comfortable.

Warm and cozy, the service is really great! We ordered the week special whuch was pasta with smoked salmon and cream vodka sauce which was too bitter for us. The Goulash soup is very salty. Nice music very relaxing We cane with a baby in stroller and it was ok :)

The coffee I drank here is the best coffee of my life. Cake also goes really well with coffee. It's the best. I want to come again.

Nice café, great location, pedestrian zone in the heart of Zurich. In addition to various coffee specialties, homemade chocolate, freshly squeezed smoothies, there is a selection of cakes and dishes.

I am a regular guest and always find a varied selection at lunchtime. Service is always nice and very efficient. Everything is prepared very fresh - I like the pressed juices and the different salads. We recommend.

Cozy, very friendly and a seasonal and conscious menu. Top soup of the day (vegan) and very fine freshly baked cake. We'll definitely be back.

I found this café by luck when I was searching for a place to hide from rain. Amazing cakes and very tasty coffee. They have lactose-free milk and plant alternatives.
