Kebab & Grill in Lugano

Good veal kebab, a little expensive but not for Lugano. Friendly and helpful staff. A little neglected environment.

The Kebab is good. It could have been fuller but the taste was really good. Too bad there are only 4 seats and it's narrow.

Good place to eat at, or to take the food for takeaway. The person serving us is really kind and the restaurant is diversified with vegetarian options too. Bonus, if you are in need of a SIM card, the place sells Lyca :)

Excellent food, always very friendly, very short times, they reheat the falafel in the microwave... it became very squishy. The kebab menu is 13 francs... why not 11? Like all?

Apparently there are 9.- + 9.- (for falafel) and 1 ayran for 3.- = 23 francs (unless I looked wrong at the ayran and it actually costs 5.-!) No thanks. Was distracted while paying. A pity. Tip: Check the price before you pay. One star for the really good taste of the Falaffel Dürüm.

I have no idea how the store got its start. I've never had such a small and sparsely filled falafel (I usually get almost twice as much for the same price). The 4-5 falafel balls were briefly warmed in the microwave. I wasn't even asked what I wanted in it. After the lukewarm falafel I went somewhere else for real food. But perhaps the tourists who hear that Italian is not their native language are simply being taken for a ride. Never again and I would advise everyone against it. A pity.

Small portions and missing orders First and last time we order here. Two kebabs with extra chips (paid extra) and when the orders arrived everything was cold and no chips. Not to mention the baklava which was a small piece 4cm long

The shop is very small and a bit confusing but the Kebap Focaccia was very tasty and for 10.- it was well stocked. Very tasty sauce. I was served very friendly, even in German.

Doner kebab was good, but the place was rather dingy

The kebab focaccia was bad, the meat was not on the kebab stick but warmed up in a warming box. The kebab was ultimately dry and only OK in taste.

Kebab expensive and empty little filling for 9 FR.

Among the many outlets scattered here and there, this is one of the few that prepares a layered kebab and not the usual chopped vertical "wurst". I take this definition from a documentary on kebab but this is not intended to be an offense to anyone. I mean that by looking at the product rotating on a vertical spit, you notice that the meat is placed in states as if they were slices of roast instead of seeing a sausage. In fact, when it is cut the meat crumbles instead of coming into curls. Having explained this gem which does not want to impose any ideas, the place is simple but clean and tidy, the bread or piadina is homemade, the portions are generous and every palate can be satisfied. It's a shame not to be able to sit down but it's not the seller's fault, but rather the rules for restaurateurs impose limits that can only be overcome by paying for additional licences, nevertheless it's worth trying because it's worth it. The place also offers desserts and other small gastronomic specialties.

Please avoid this place, small portion and not good...
