One of my favorite places for Korean food. The bulgogi beef menu comes with beef, rice and 3 banchan (side dishes - kimchi, pickled radish and beans in soy sauce) with unlimited refills. CHF37 per person, min 2. Service is very good and friendly. Nice ambience.

Nice place to have Korean bbq near Augustin neighbourhood. The food was pretty quickly served. The barbecue is served on the table (not installed directly inside the table). There were not many choices for the barbecue, otherwise the food tasted good. We booked using the Fork and got -20% off.

Le Kimchi, located on rue de Carouge, very close to the Blanche tram stop. I wondered if I could rediscover the flavors I tasted during my trip to the capital of the land of morning calm. Kimchi (a traditional dish composed of peppers and fermented vegetables) is led by Suki, who will introduce you to the typical dishes of her country. For me, it will be bulgogi, beef marinated in soy sauce, accompanied by rice and bachan (a selection of side dishes). If you are looking for an authentic Korean culinary experience in Geneva, Le Kimchi is an excellent choice, a very good find.

Même si le sujet principal (pandémique) mondial est toujours d'actualité. Toutefois, comme le hasard fait bien les choses, mon meilleur ami avait son anniversaire à fêter. J'ai donc choisi de l'inviter à manger coréen au restaurant Kimchi, situé non loin de la maternité de l'HUG et juste à côté de l’arrêt de tram Blanche. Dommage que l'on ne puisse profiter de l'intérieur qui était sympathiquement charmant sans trop de babioles asiatique, mais je me satisfait de la terrasse avec le minimum syndical en aménagement au vue de la situation actuelle qui sévit dans le monde.Nous avons tous été amicalement reçu par le patron (qui était sûrement heureux de voir augmenter le nombre de ses clients) et la charmante serveuse nous a même bien servi. Malgré que les menus aux prix avantageux ont disparu des cartes dû à une réorganisation économique à cause du COVID-19, l'établissement a tout de même gardé toute sa liste des mets en plat unique avec un très large choix qui contentera chacun. Les prix sont plutôt corrects pour Genève, mais il est préférable de venir avec les 30% de réduction de The Fork. En revanche, tous les assiettes (à l'exception des soupes et desserts) se mangent avec des baguettes métalliques. Ce qui n'est aucunement un problème pour moi étant un habitué de la gastronomie asiatique.Mon ami a débuté avec de bons Mandu (raviolis) au kimchi et porc, avec une légère préférence pour ceux au bœuf). Quant à moi, j'ai commencé avec un bon Nokdu Bindae Tteok (crêpe salée aux haricots mungo sur ardoise chaude). J'ai également choisi un très bon thé chaud coréen avec un subtil miel pour rehausser le goût. Mon copain a poursuivi avec le fameux So Bulgogi (barbecue au bœuf), toujours aussi excellent. Le tout était accompagné d'un bol de céleri, de kimchis et d'haricot verts goûteux. Pour ma part, un succulent Dak Gangjeung (poulet épicé aigre-doux) avec une délicieux sauce de purée de piment en accompagnement. Pour finir, le plat phare de toute la cuisine coréen qui faut absolument prendre, le Sujeounggwa (thé froid aux gingembres et cannelle). De son côté, mon ami a terminé avec de très bons Hotteok (crêpes aux concassées de cacahuète et sucre de cannelle). En ce qui me concerne, ce restaurant est au même niveau que le Bap Urban Korean Food, tous deux excellents dont je vous recommande la venue.
