Excellent cinema of auteur films. Great variety, good sound quality. It is less of a large screen, but it is understood that perhaps this is the most appropriate cost-efficiency formula. I like the Kultur Kinos chain in Basel.

If you like cult films, this is the right place for you. Small, nice cinema, with a bar including popcorn, ice cream etc. Centrally located, with good connections. Has lots of bars or restaurants nearby if you want to have a drink or something to eat before or after the movie.

It's fun to watch special films here that deviate from the mainstream

The unfriendly man at the checkout is uncooperative, I didn't receive my Brain Stream card due to an error on the part of the cinema and didn't make it to the performance today. A pity!

The cult cinema is located in the middle of the old town of Kleinbasel. It doesn't really stand out because it's a smaller cinema. The cult cinema is very suitable for school classes. Because they show films that don't come from Marvel Studios. On the contrary, a lot of Swiss films are shown. The acoustics are also excellent.

Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be, toast is only half the size but the same price..

Our place to go for alternative (non Hollywood) movies. They have two sites in the city. The other one is called kult.kino atelier. Both have a nice relaxing atmosphere. The theaters are not too big but have nice sofas including some love sites.

Cinema in the basement with two cinema halls, accessible via stairs or lift. You can buy snacks and something to drink at the checkout. Clean toilet. The Lilys restaurant above the cinema is a good place to grab something to eat before or after going to the cinema. The seats offer pleasant space even for tall people.

Hidden in the second basement is the Kult.Kino Camera. Friendly service. Unit price CHF 18. Toilet clean. Only alternative films.

Minimalist ambience in a small format. A cinema only for connoisseurs with high standards of film production. If you're looking for mainstream, you won't find anything here.

+ The range of different films is interesting! - What I didn't like were the small pop corn at big prices. - I think glass bottles are sustainable. But 3dl is not enough for a 150 minute film without a break! I can recommend this cinema to visitors who are only interested in the films themselves. Personally, I miss the cinema experience with lots of cola and popcorn.

Cool little cinema where you can still get to see movies in their original language. It's in dire need of refurbishment though so don't expect any glitzer. The selection of films seems carefully curated, usually slightly off the beaten mainstream path.

Small intimate theater, rather pricey. Audio and video quality perfectly average.

No Hollywood Goastbusters, but other film gems. Rooms are already old, but somehow have style. Not a big, but friendly cinema in the middle of Kleinbasel.
